A well located and inexpensive place to stay in a trip to Crystal River

rooms need a good detailed cleaning,upgrade on tv quality and reverse cycle hvac system very noisy. Good point was staff helpful but working with what appears to be short staff and needed upgrades.

Pipe broke in a room next to us, but we were fortunate enough to not need to use bathroom before checking out. The accommodations were great, we felt bad that happened to the establishment.

love kings bay lodge. right on the water. spacious rooms and i love the Motor Lodge vibe of the place.

i love the location of this cute motor lodge style motel. i always bring my paddle board with me and this is the perfect place to stay to hop on the water steps from your door. there are a few decent restaurants within walking distance.

Ease of putting a kayak in the water was awesome!! Didn't have to drive to or pay any "extra" to do so. No room for visitor parking - i didn't have any this time but its a place that would be nice to have additional friends or family stop by.

Very noisy, but otherwise good

The location is perfect. The spring fed pool was unique but I wasn’t going in. The room was spacious and clean

Our room was almost exactly like the one pictured on the website - ours was red, white and blue and very "Americana". Bed was super comfortable, chairs reclined, bath was tiled and shower with hand held, fully outfitted kitchenette. We walked in and it made us smile

Room was clean, amenities in the room, parking right in front. Only complaint the bed was very hard and sheets were rough. Thankfully it was a quick over night passing through but we will do more research next time.

This property was excellent. A hidden gem on all accounts. The swimming pool was a spring and just wonderful.The rooms were comfortable, decorated so nice, very clean with more than enough room for four people. The grounds were perfect with under cover grills and picnic tables. They provide towels for the pool area and docking for under 28ft boats. No trailer parking on the grounds but there is parking off site. The place was so quiet, relaxing and right on the river. All outside grounds and pool area were immaculate. Staff were so friendly and helpful and provided any info on things around town. Their room rates were more than fair with all they had to offer. We will be back!!!!!

Very nice rooms.. ours had a full size fridge, stove, microwave, and king size bed. It was also very nicely furnished and decorated. It’s walking distance to lots of restaurants and little quaint shops. It’s located right on the water and the spring fed pool is amazing! We will def stay here again!!

Great low key location and accommodations. Clean, safe, right in town to walk to places and waterfront. Nice. Kind of old fashioned but nice.

Great place as a base camp for day outings in the area. Full size fridge and kitchen was best for eating in. Interesting natural pool. Only downside was the wifi was intermittent and slow.

This old Florida motel is in a great location, walking distance to everything. It’s not much to look at on the outside, but inside the rooms are very large suites with comfortable furniture, nice tv and small kitchenettes. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to this area.

What a wonderful chilled get away-rooms were clean and roomy with a wonderful little kitchen stocked with utensils/etc. The rooms our group had were updated and very homey nice. Great TV for the guys to watch Bowl games haha. Perfect location to just drop your paddle board or kayak in-hoses to wash everything off-so easy and convenient. Walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go. We had a wonderful little get away!

Very nice place. On the canal. Booked for the natural spring pool. Little chilly to get in to enjoy but really cool. Very comfy bed and clean room. Stocked with all necessities .

The location and property type was ideal given the current pandemic. The suite was large, very comfortable, and walking distance to the springs, shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!
