If you want that mountain-cabin-lodge feel, then this is the place! The decor...beautiful. The bed...to die for comfortable. The staff is super nice and the breakfast is just right to start your day.

Very nice redone motel. Staff very sweet and efficient and the breakfast was terrific. Homemade cinnamon rolls, savory egg & ham puff pastry pocket and loved the chia fruit pudding.

The bad: Bed was old and/or too soft. You would fall into a whole. The room was freezing had the heater on 90 for about 4 hours before it warmed up. Had to bring in extra blankets from our car. There was also a lot of noise from passing cars. The good: Front desk lady was super friendly. The breakfast was very good, but everything is limit one.

This hotel is super cozy and safe. The complementary breakfast was delicious, especially the cinnamon rolls. The rooms are tight but packed with furniture and decor that made me feel cozy and extremely comfortable. The hotel staff at the front desk was super nice. Hot water and in door heating unit included. Big tvs and nice front view so you can keep an eye on your car. Would definitely stay here again.

Boutique hotel. Nicely and uniquely decorated inside and out. Books and tech options in room. Delicious and ‘homemade’ breakfast! Comfy bedding. Front desk person pleasant and helpful.

This was such a cute place. Amazing breakfast in the morning too!

I had the murphy bed room and it was uncomfortable. The "headboard" cushions fall behind the bed, there is a picture frame in the way of where your head goes when you sit up. The couch is too small to be comfortable. The bathroom has a narrow shelf that covers half the sink so you can't really wash your face and you also don't have enough depth on the shelf to place a small bag. The toilet is positioned so close to the shower that my shoulder were against the wall, and I am a fit person.

Beautiful decor and exceptional staff. The breakfast is the best in town. Very soothing atmosphere in this charming little gem.

This was our favourite stay during our 10-day road trip around the area. Unexpectedly cozy. Better breakfast than in larger hotels.

Very nice accommodations. We accidentally left something in the refrigerator and they called us about it. We were passing back through Blanding so it way super easy for us to stop back by. Breakfast was great, people were nice, room was nice - we would definitely stay there again.

Great little family owned property. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds, and a well stocked suite. The executive suite was like having your own well stocked casita, two nice bedrooms, great bathroom, a fabulous kitchen and a nice little living room. The Crew does a really nice job of cleaning and the breakfast was nice and home made. If you ever find yourself in Blanding, or on your way through Monument Valley to Moab Utah, you can’t go wrong here.

This property is a renovated "motel". It has been updated to new bathrooms, wall decor, etc. We loved it. A nice private backyard space. Nice breakfast.

The hot breakfast is like none other in any of our travels: fresh, special and regionally appropriate. A real treat not soon to be forgotten!!!

This place is fantastic! The rooms have been renovated and are very clean and comfortable. Beautiful garden area with fire ring. Breakfast was to die for, everything was homemade and delicious. I wish we could go back. The plants in the room are real live plants. They have a lot of pride in their property and are incredibly friendly.

Loved this motel. Very clean. Has been completely renovated. Beautifully decorated. Had a coffee bar in a breezeway and little cast iron tables in a garden and n the back. Great breakfast

Cozy, friendly, welcoming. These are just a few of the nice things I can say about our little retreat at the Stone Lizard. Breakfast was amazing! It was a treat to stay here.

This is a cute row motel and we were lucky to score the end unit with lots of windows. The decor is nicely done in a soutwest look. Clean, fully restored unit so everything looked brand new inside. A bit tight in the bathroom for the three of our things but we made it work. It was especially fun at breakfast. One long table and it felt like a Bed and Breakfast getting to visit with the other guests, many from other places in the world. This is a dry county so if you're on vacation be sure and bring your own cooler of beverages with you. Very kind staff. Would def stay again if we were traveling through here.
