My first room was so musty and the portible dehumidifer in the corner was full and beeping. i asking to move rooms and the new room had dirty carpet and a portable A/C that was so loud it kept me up all night. the front desk folks were very sweet and the history of the hotel is very cool.

We had a wonderful stay, the place really has a historical vibe. Nansi andThe staff were super friendly and I would deffinelty return for another stay

Had to wait a long time to check in bc there was a long line. Eventually another gal came to help check people in. Room was large and nice. Carpeting is older and right outside of bathroom by bathroom sinks which is a little gross. Mattress was soft but pretty comfortable. Room was very clean. Ate at restaurant, very good food and great service. Also had drink at bar at night. Nice bartender. Continental breakfast is very good for a continental. They gave more than what I was expecting. Rhinebeck is just LOVELY! The history of the hotel is AMAZING! Ask for a write-up on its history.

Beautiful, historic, room was lovely, beds comfortable, unfortunately the WiFi and TV were not functioning. A lovely staff person tried to help but to no avail. Breakfast was good. Easy access to shops and dining.

It's historic museum like quality. Preserved. Ease in which exploration of many historical items available for viewing. Cozy guest house,warm safe n quiet. A great night's sleep x 3. Meals in dinning room presented exquisite and a little pricey but very enjoyable. Everything within walking distance. Didn't like weather, it rained most of stay, but would come back again!

While the room was lovely and the staff was attentive, the WiFi was poor to nonexistent, and the shower needed to be turned to C for cold in order to get hot water.

The heat was out in the main In. and was moved several blooms to another property which was ok but not the Inn

Booked room in the Inn, upon arrival advised boiler was broken and were being moved to room outside of inn, required us to drive. Completely different ambience from what was anticipated.

These are motel style rooms behind the Beekman Arms. They are updated and cozy rooms in the heart of beautiful Rhinebeck Village. A short walk brings you to a very complete morning continental breakfast on the Inn’s expansive property at the Delameter Inn.

Excellent boutique hotel in an old inn. Outstanding service. Great food at the tavern inside the inn. It is an historic property so it is not modern, but that's why you should stay here.

My room was so cozy with the king size bed and fireplace. Very clean. Staff was extremely helpful and the food at yhe restaurant was delicious. Can't wait to go back!

This place is tired. Christina at check-in gets a special mention for having wandered off as the line of arriving guests got longer and longer. We kept hearing that she was coming right back but alas, no. And breakfast “in the lobby” per the reservation turned out to be in a building two blocks away. Shout-out for the bar and Julia there — go to the bar but stay elsewhere.

Well located in a town we enjoy visiting - usually for an afternoon but this time overnight - hotel is oldest inn in America - feels that way - we love the antique barn on property but would prefer an updated accommodation

It's a really neat, old Inn. Very convenient to walk to Rhinebeck shop's and restaurants.
The room itself was outdated (and not in a charming way) and in need of a refresh. Electrical outlets for charging phones were not conveniently located near the beds.
The continental breakfast was way too far away and wasn't worth the walk (grocery store muffins and cereals). I will say the walk to breakfast in the crisp air did help me clear my head so it did have an upside.

No door in back of hotel. Curtains and blinds did not work. Tv was difficult use. Food in hotel was sub par.

Checking in at about 4PM, there was a long wait with a couple checking in ahead of me that took a long long time. Despite apologies, nothing happened until another employee showed up to reduce the line of customers quickly.

Lovely area and property. Leaf blowing at 7:30 am got us up and going! Would be helpful if map of property would acknowledge spaces other than Beekman’s.

There are so few options in this town… But I found this place to be not worth the price at all. The room was not updated, it felt like a second thought. Clearly, this place rests on its laurels, and I would not recommend it.

No fridge, no microwave, no ghosts. Ice has to be acquired from front desk in main house.
Other than that, the room in the guest house was fine. The continental breakfast is an afterthought they should just skip. Nice location in the middle of town. Walking distance to most restaurants and shops.
Comfortable bed, good ac, good hotel wifi, we don't drink sherry so can't rate that. Nice little table outside next to an apple tree.
I'd stay nere again...I would choose the guest house too because I've heard the main house and other areas are either noisy or not so great for other reasons.

We enjoyed our overnight stay in the Townsend house, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We really didn't enjoy the restaurant, salmon and steak were both overcooked but would not have a problem staying there again if in Rhinebeck.

Got a room with minuscule window facing a parking lot. No welcome from anyone upon arrival, breakfast a block away from the room, no one told us the hotel had a restaurant. Not worth the sum we paid.

Beekman Arms has wonderful dining facilities with varied attractive settings: outside, glassed-in area, bar, formal dining room. My compliments to the chef, the menu is diverse and my steak was delicious and beautifully plated.
