This was a great off season stay! View was breathtaking!!

My ratings are based on the off-season value. The price was excellent for my January stay. Spacious and clean; 5-star bed. I intend to book the Silver Gull again.

Great spot plan to go back this summer

While the property is definitely dated, it was clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastic...even on New Years Eve and early New Years Day.

Great location but rooms was not very clean like they should have been. First room had to be switched, was human hair on the beds and in draws, floors not clean. second room was not any cleaner. Office not open 24 hours so if need help no one available at night. The elevator broke and had to constantly use the stairs, very inconvenient. But overall a good stay. I would stay again to see if it's better next time . Maybe it will be and I can give a better review. Just being honest here.

Close to the beach

This was a unique little place to stay. Beautiful area. Although a little worn out it was clean, well kept and comfortable.

Took my wife on a weekend getaway for her birthday. Sits right on the beach, rooms didn't smell musty or have an old smell but smelled clean. Supplied with plenty of towels, dishes and silverware. Full size fridge and oven which was really nice. Balcony with seating also a full size Deck right off of our floor with plenty of sitting. Our sliding door was close to the beach you could hear the waves. Very relaxing. Close to the pier but costs $2 just to walk on pier. Very quiet, relaxing place to stay. A parking deck is provided, local small shops within walking distance. No major restaurants within walking but that's what we like. Really nice place to stay. This is a great place for older couples or quiet place just to get away. Our new favorite place to relax for sure.

I was on a road trip and headed to the Silver Gull late-ish at night. I didn't realize that the front desk closed at 11p. They called me to let me know and I made it just in time. The staff was kind and the check-in / check-out process was easy. For the room I had, the price was excellent. I was a 30 second walk to the beach / pier. Beautiful sunrise. Only wish I had more time to spend here.

Upon checking in, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Very efficient and cordial. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Everything was very clean. Very clean. Linens freshly laundered and beds quite comfy. No noise from neighbors rooms, etc. Very good value here.

It was a clean motel, everyone was very nice, and I liked putting the trash and laundry outside your door each morning instead of having someone come in the room.

Loved staying close to the pier. Did not like that the staff leaves at 10 pm every night

This was a fine place to stay. Great access to the beach and a nice view off the balcony.

You stay at the beach, next to the pier and every room has a balcony so you have a partial view of the ocean anywhere.

The location is the best by the beach and the pier, the beds are lovely and comfortable but small. The place is older but still clean and the views are great.

The Silver Gull is ocean front, which is nice. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy. The beach on weekends during the summer is quite crowded which causes traffic jams at the entrance to the hotel. Just be patient. The rooms have kitchenettes, which is convenient.

Love the Silver Gull. It’s no frills but so nice to be right next to the ocean. Staff are always very friendly. I’ve never felt unsafe there. Quiet night.

Property was not very clean. The parking arrangements were very limited with only pay by day alternatives. Staff was a bit short and very helpful.

There is a full kitchen in the room! The view is great! Nice big bathroom. A little dated.

This isn’t super fancy or upscale any any means BUT it is an excellent value. When I was looking for somewhere on or as close to the beach as possible, this was the lowest price and ON the beach. There were others blocks away from the beach that were far more costly but not really any nicer, especially when considering the locations and prices. It’s not fancy or anything like I said, but it’s very clean and looks nice enough-the halls are just gray painted cinderblock and stuff, (like I said, nothing fancy), but the rooms have nice little kitchenettes, bathrooms have nice tile and granite counters, and the tub is decent sized for being your typical shower/tub combo. The rooms are also fairly spacious as well- both section of the bathroom have a nice amount of space, the kitchenette has everything you need and is nice and clean, and the main part of the room is very spacious as well and included two full size beds(the ONLY downside in my opinion, since usually rooms with 2 beds have queens), there’s a little desk and chair, full dresser and a small dining table with some chairs, and none of it was crammed together at all. It was very easy for the 3 of us to move around the room even will all our stuff in there, there’s also a closet with some hangers. The second floor has a walkway/deck out to the beach that includes chairs to sit and enjoy the beach view and sounds. The overall location is excellent, we will definitely be coming back for future beach stays!!
