Property was perfectly located off the highway so you don’t hear traffic. There is a brewery right behind it. The staff was great. Room was spotless. The only downside was the wife said she could hear jets taking off during the night.

The room was nice and clean. However, we weren't too crazy about the barn door. We like more privacy and there was a gap at the door. Not a big deal, but we would have preferred a regular door that closed completely.

Great loc, nice looking lobby, clean and comfortable room, loved the walk in shower. Friendly staff, very good breakfast selection.

Our stay of two nights was flawless. We'll definitely be back whenever we visit Asheville again. It is a little hard to find if you don't know the exact street to turn on. A sign or arrow might be helpful. The eggs and bacon for breakfast were a cut above the competition.

Fairfield Inn Marriott was a great choice! Nice clean and convenient for my needs! Checkin and checkout was simple! I’d definitely stay again!

Was very clean and nice staff. Pillows were great but I would rate the bed 7 out of 10. Not that it was horrible. Just not as comfortable as mine at home.

1) The description says there are shuttles to the airport, which was a key reason for choosing the property. However, after checking, I learned it is only available with a reservation and there was no more availability for my time. “Best I can do” is all the lady said, as they share the shuttle with other hotels. No where does description say “limited availability.” 2) the room next door played music all night long and the noise penetrated our room all night long. I called down and lady said “she’d see what she could do.” Nothing was done.

We had 3 people in our room, 2 adults and a toddler. We didn’t realize that we booked a hotel that didn’t have a bath tub at all, but we figured we would make due. The shower floor was so slippery, our toddler fell and hit her head hard, and slipped multiple times prior to falling, luckily she was fine, but definitely frustrating that if there isn’t a bath tub, there is only one safety bar high up where a young child couldn’t even dream to reach. Also, the shower door didn’t even have a handle on the inside to open the door… very weird. There was a bug in our towel, no clue what it was. Husband took a picture and tried to identify, couldn’t find anything. Lastly, I thought my husband had put clothes in a drawer, so I put our toddlers clothes in it as well. Turns out they were the clothes of whoever stayed there prior. It really made me question the sanitization process of the facility if they didn’t check the drawers… The pros were that the breakfast had boundless possibilities which was great for a picky toddler, and great for those who are watching what they eat/ wanting to eat healthy. It was a fine spot to stop for a quick sleep/ recharge before powering out down the highway but we would probably find somewhere else next time, especially for the safety and health of our child and ourselves.

Very clean but neither the staff nor manager knew how to help me upgrade my wifi. They just provided a phone number for me to call their provider myself. I’d think they’d try calling on my behalf. Also, there was carpet being replaced directly above my room which meant I had to deal with A LOT of drilling, banging, heavy items being slammed which literally shook the entire room. This occurred 2 afternoons in a row. It would have been nice to be made aware of up front so I’d be able choose a different room/floor

This was my second time staying at the hotel. I personally chose to stay her because I enjoy the hospitality and staff. The breakfast was first class.
