Its an old hotel that's been kept up so not a lot of amenities but the bed was very nice, they have Real towels (one of my picky things), it was quiet comfortable and easy to get around. I would definitely stay there again

Property is older and a bit run down, but very clean. Cute outdoor patio on the second floor to hang out on. Location was great, close to the boardwalk, restaurants and beach. It did have a microwave and mini fridge, but no coffee maker. Small room and bathroom, but perfectly adequate for a few nights. Beds were comfortable, and staff was friendly.

Could be a beautiful place with a lot of work. It was walkable so it got a star for that. Seems like the owners have done nothing to the hotel in years and are just getting what they can out of it. Won’t stay there again but was ok for one night.

We did not use the shower which was over the bath. The bath was in very poor condition. Taps andbath looked to be over 40 years old the toilet had very little space on either side appox. 4 inches . The seat had 2 gouges in it. The back of the door had some sort of paper stuck to it. Tiles hanging off the wall. The room itself was clean and the bedding was clean. The overall decor was very poor. Grossly over priced.

This was one of the grossest places I’ve stayed. The carpet was stained. The beds flimsy. No outlets to dry hair near sink or mirror. I was worried about falling through the outside corridor so much that I carried the heavier luggage instead of letting my husband. It was so spongy that I was seriously afraid of it collapsing. It was the only room open on Hotels.com so I booked it. I wish I had taken more time & looked through other sites to stay some place else. I almost went & found somewhere else after I saw the room & just ate the cost but my husband convinced me it would be ok for one night. The only good review I give it is the clerk let me check in 2 hours early. Other than that, I want to forget the experience. I literally went & got Lysol & came back & sprayed room just for some piece of mind cause it looked so rough. I get that there’s bad weather & places get flooded but I totally would have paid more to stay somewhere else.

The beds were comfortable & clean. The shower was clean & worked fine. The bathroom was clean. It had a nice clean microwave & good size refrigerator & freezer. The air conditioner worked but didn’t cool as much as we wanted. The carpet was very stained & the upstairs floor felt weak. However all in all we were thankful for clean beds & a shower.

I read the not so great reviews and was nervous but our one night stay was fabulous. The room was quaint, the beds very comfortable, the flooring new and clean. Yes, the shower had definitely seen better days, but it did the trick. The location was perfect. The front desk was friendly and efficient. I would stay again.

We have been coming to Cedar key for years, but this is the first time that we stayed a couple of nights nights. We were there for a wedding.

Host was wonderful. Older motel, could use a bit of of updating and repairing but it was comfortable and clean.

The Good and the Ugly. Location great. Bed good. Thats all the Good. Now the Ugly. Shower is Scalding or ice cold. Advise no shower during stay, or 3AM. Second day came back from breakfast and found used prophylactic middle of floor. Never in my life of travels has that happened and stayed in a few questionable plaves. Asked manager who had access and nobody else but her. Go figure. Absent that crazy issue, still only 2 star. Caters to all groups, including non stop smokers next door, OK as long as windows closed. Never again.

Property is dated, old Florida drive up motel. Staff was wonderful, informative and professional. While dated, property was very clean.

Location was great for us. We parked right outside our door and walked to Dock Street and several other places.
Lots of hurricane damage but still lots to see and do. People there were very friendly.

Our room needed some TLC. The inside of the entry door was all chipped - painting the door would be a 5 minute fix. There was a hole in the wall outside the bathroom door - again not a big deal to fix. The bathroom had a roll of toilet paper with hardly anything on it - not sure that hathroon was even cleaned.

It was absolutely disgusting! Please do not stay here. There are other choices so please pay extra to stay there. So run down and outdated. When we checked out the whole office smelt like marijuana. We barely slept. All the other places were booked. It was so bad!!!!!!

Our room was dirty, the commode was low and I had problems getting off it. The bed was smaller than I was used to.

We were greeted with a plunger outside our door ... The beds, bedding, towels and pillows we're very clean and nice. There was no coffee pot in the room but a nice little diner right next door. The carpet was horrible. Granted, these folks were just through a hurricane a few months ago and probably have other things to fix first. We were on the second floor. The bathroom is very small. Some shower tiles were loose... We probably would try the place again.

The location was great. Parking very good.
However, the condition of the property was poor. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom needed a total renovation. Soap dish in the shower was dirty. Cat walking into the rooms. Room smelled like clorox. Would not stay in this place again.

The lady in the desk was nice but honestly I have never stayed in somewhere so dirty or run down. Stains on carpet, carpet worn into holes, bed uncomfortable, we didn’t even shower as it was so dirty. We left after first night.
We did get the last room so maybe it was waiting to be upgraded. Hate leaving bad reviews but owe to folks to be honest.

The property is outdated and could use repair. Location is perfect. Bed was comfortable. Pleasant stay.

False advertising. The pictures must be from when the place opened in 1950. Shower was nasty. One room had broken glass in the bathroom. Doors did not latch properly. Facade is dilapidated. We left and found a far better place on the north side of the island. Did not even waste our time to get the money back for the 2 rooms. All 4 of us agreed the place is awdul!! Nasty!!

I did not stay at this property after seeing it. There was no manager on site to tell I was not staying. I went by a 2nd time to look for a manager but did not even see where there is an office. The property is a dump!!

The young lady at check in was very friendly. The lobby and majority of the building smelled like pot. We do not begrudge people from smoking pot, we don't smoke it and dont want to smell it all the timd. There was at least 3 inches of caulking around the base of the toilet. The walls are super thin. You can hear people in the next room having a casual conversation. At midnight we were woken up to a drunken party. Never staying there again.

The property is in need of a major renovation. While it was reasonably clean the tub and shower need to be replaced. They are old and scarred by time. It's a very convenient location, but it's not worth $100 a night.

My only complaint is the hot water pressure it lack of someone in the room I had. It's an older place but you can tell they are working on it. Everything else was excellent.

It was an inexpensive very simple place that served my purpose as a clean, cheap place to sleep. Nothing fancy and quite old, but clean.

IT WAS FINE. NOTHING FANCY. IT WAS CLEAN, BED WAS COMFY ALL WE NEEDED FOR ONE NIGHT.
