Amazing staff and so helpful. Best breakfast i have had in a hotel or b+b. Didnt sleep too well as not used to a softer mattress. But would stay again. The scrambled eggs were divine

Always a pleasure to stay right in the centre in a comfy bed

Centrally located in Andover with its own car park, which is free for residents. Staff are really friendly and helpful, they really go the extra mile and are a credit to the hotel. Buffet style breakfast with so much choice.

I had a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the hospitality tray was well stocked. The staff were very helpful. I would stay here again.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff & good room. Lovely selection of food on the buffet breakfast and very attentive young chap waiting on the table. Could not have asked for more.

The hotel was average, but it was in an excellent location for us for a wedding reception at Keystone Hall. Our room was large and I got the one I requested at the front with a bay window. It was quite noisy on a Saturday night , but I was warned of this. We only received one bath towel each. No hand towels. The only toiletries were on the wall. Liquid soap and shampoo. The shower was over the bath. The room was quite expensive for one night with no breakfast. You can have breakfast at the hotel for an extra cost. We went to Wetherspoons for breakfast, it was two doors up from our hotel.

The location is great, it's quite unfortunately it was incredibly hot in the room the fan was the slowest weekest fan possible, especially with the sockets bring so far from the bed it wasn't possible to both reach the cool air to sleep, it was very difficult to sleep in such a hot room with winter quilts, and do under sheet.

Nice clean and friendly hotel, we stayed as a base to visit some local sites of highclere castle and the bombay saffire distillery. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable, and you have tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was good and served buffet style. There is no bar or restaurant on site , but there are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Overall a good stay and would recommend.

Good value accommodation with easy access to town centre. Room self contained and very quiet. Breakfast very good. Parking very convenient and well marked.

Firstly, the staff here are excellent. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. However we had a couple of issues: * we booked a twin but got a double and no twins were available. This was fine as I was travelling with my young son, but did make the stay less comfortable. * both my son and I slipped on the non-slip mat in the bath and I have a corker of a bruise on my leg * breakfast was generally fine but the bread was frozen which made the crusts really hard. The room was a decent size, a bit warm but there was an a/c unit in there which we really appreciated.

Location was great, within walking distance of lots of eateries.

A single-night solo stay for an early start the next morning. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious, although it was odd that there was a dehumidifier in the room with a vent out of the window! Reception service was excellent. No restaurant at the hotel but there are plenty of dining options nearby, including a Pizza Express at the front of the hotel. Didn't have time to try breakfast. Would stay again.

Disappointed

Such a lovely old building with great character - we just wished we could have stayed longer. The lady on reception was so polite and helpful, wish I had taken her name (only know she was from the caribbean). Cosy, warm, clean and an excellent shower and very well placed right in the town centre.

Another great stay at this hotel, a big thank you to Emma and the team for going the extra mile for us.

Lovely two night stop over

The room was lovely, clean, very spacious and comfortable large bed. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

Was very clean staff was very polite and helpful. Would ask for lower floor rooms as a lot of steps. Only because ihave bad knees other than a perfect weekend.

We have stayed here a few times before as visitors to family who had been unwell recently. This stay unfortunately was for their funeral and we had attended that day & stayed one night. Everything was fine as we know the hotel until the morning of check out. We had breakfast & were sorting the car out as flowers in the boot from the funeral when suddenly a lady appeared & did not introduce herself just accused us of trying to possibly leave without paying! Her words were I’m not suggesting you were going to leave but I’m aware it’s happened before & I’m making sure! We were annoyed but understood why but she could have handled it much better. Also helps to know your guests & who have stayed beforehand. Maybe highlight this on the hotel CRM or system plus it was only one night..

Shame hotel no longer has a bar or evening restaurant but there are a few places in town. Breakfast was very good. Staff all very nice and helpful.

Lovely, lovely staff. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The kitchen staff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast was great, very tasty and plenty of it. The only downside is that they don't have a restaurant but there is plenty to choose from nearby. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay there again.

Why stay in a featureless chain hotel when little gems like this exist! A wonderful place right in the heart of the town with rooms that reflect the age, character and charms of this old building. Staff are wonderful and although there are no evening restaurant facilities, plenty of options for eating exist within easy walking distance. Will definitely be back again. Thank you!

Nice hotel in the centre of town, but the parking was a little difficult to find.

Checking in was quick. Room clean. There was something for everyone at Breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Headboard was all scratched. Water was either freezing cold or took ages to warm up.

Awesome stay, staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast great value, plenty to eat.
