I had a room with a lovely balcony, overlooking water . . . and (sadly) right above a road re-paving project. I know the road project won't last forever, but it sure made my time in this room miserable.

The room was lovely ( king-sized bed with jacuzzi). Pool, hot tub and sauna were very nice. Staff was also nice.
The breakfast offered was blah--hard boiled eggs, make-your-own waffle, cereal, only one type of juice, jam, and yogurt--zero variety.
There's a strange ramp situation on each floor in the wing we stayed in that was rather steep and difficult to negotiate, especially with luggage (I walk with a cane). The jacuzzi should really have a grab bar to help with entry and exit safely.

Took an overnight trip and got not only an amazing price on my room, but had a great experience. Room was fantastic, great view and the room itself was taken care of. Some pieces were outdated and breakfast wasn't a whole lot, but who goes to a hotel just for breakfast? 😉. Service was all friendly and helpful and made me want to return for an even longer stay.

The Pointe has a great location right on the lake and conveniently located by The Boathouse and other restaurants and pubs.
The rooms are are a little dated; but, it has more charm and character than chain hotels.

Great stay. Just realized when we got there that the floors on the lower level are very cold in the winter. Great place, decor a little dated but love the Northwoods feel and theme.
Didn’t swim but walked into pool room and it was crazy heavy chlorine.

This was such a nice stay. The staff was so friendly on check in. The pool and hot tub had was too much chlorine, but that’s minor. The room was clean, spacious, and so cozy. We will be back

I appreciated the quiet. However I have a Left knee injury and am handicap due to it, as well as asthma. I was placed in basement/ ground level which required 2 flights of stairs down. I had to use patio to exit room and be picked up on US - 51 highway, felt as if I was homeless. As it was easier to come and go from room..this was also only way to get to continental breakfast which can’t be eaten in breakfast area and had to be brought back to the room per their set up.

It wasn't great at all. There was crumbs and hair in the bed the bath tub wouldn't get warm enough and the best was so uncomfortable we ended up sleeping on the pull out couch . It was so old and smelly there and the upfront desk lady was sooooooo RUDE

What a wonderful place to stay. I loved the kitchen accommodations and the whirlpool tub! Very beautiful setting in Minocqua. Will definitely stay there again!

There is a pretty view from the window in the living room I felt overall was very clean! Very comfortable. I will be returning again in the future as I was very satisfied with the overall experience!

Loved the balcony view, size of room & decor. Breakfast was great, but didn’t like having to bring it back to our room to eat. Waffles got cold walking to room & had to balance access card with tray of food.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. Overall it was clean. Our room itself was on the road side so you heard the traffic. They are working on the parking lot so it’s gravel right now. breakfast is a grab n go that wasn’t bad. You can walk to the downtown shops which was very convenient.

We have stayed here multiple times and have always been pleased. This was our go to place. This visit we were in a unit at the far end of the property. We had to go down a flight of stairs with no access to the elevator. (Just having had knee surgery this was an unpleasant surprise. )The breakfast area no longer has seating so we would have had to carry food back to our room and once again, face the stairs. Also, there is not ice available unless you buy it. In short, confirm the location of your room if you have any mobility problems.

The staff was so welcoming and helpful. They were unexpectedly busy and yet they were prompt and cheerful. Felt like family. The breakfast area, pool area, exercise room were all kept exceedingly clean. The grounds were beautiful. We used the gas grill and it too was kept very clean. We will be happy to go back.

Check in and check out were quick and easy. Staff was extremely kind and accommodating. I was unable to use the hit tub in my room because after I filled it, i noticed a lot of floatong debri and hair. When i went to shower, the shower was full of hair.

Get a room in the 1000's for a patio that opens onto the lake grounds. Rooms in 2000's are parking lot level. Best hotel in room coffee maker of any hotel stay and Wolfgang Puck coffee was also the best of any hotel from Hawaii to Va. beach.

Our family stayed in town for one night and had an amazing stay at The Pointe! The staff was accommodating, friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The rooms were spacious, clean and spoke of the Northwoods. It was just amazing.

There room description should inform that depending on your room, you might have to negotiate 36 stairs down to the room with no elevator. The room is nice. Bathroom very small and dated. Loud pounding noises from rooms above late in evening(10-12 at night)
Skipped the grab n go breakfast. Expected more at $200 plus per night.

Check in was slow. Said I owed money and I told them It was paid thru Expedia. Person before me- they could not find reservation which took 15 minutes. Person was very friendly, Was not her fault, but someone dropped the ball for my check in and the person before me.
