So convenient for UCLA visitors! We were there to watch some athletic events over the weekend and were able to walk everywhere we went. Yes, it can be expensive but if you plan ahead, the rates can be really good and compared to other hotels nearby- this one is far better and worth paying a little more. Located right on campus, this is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms, parking on site ($35 a day) with a nice restaurant and bar. Unfortunately there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room so we couldn’t keep our waters cold but that was the only issue and overall we were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

From check in, dining, and check out was spectacular. Jordan at the restaurant and Arthur at the front desk really shine. Their hospitality and service set the bar. Location was great and safe.

Great location for visiting UCLA or Westwood. Lovely feel on a college campus.

Missed a mini fridge. Wished I had a shower door to close. Restaurant was mediocre. Other than that, we were comfortable.

We came to watch our son in a UCLA track meet and this location is perfect. Service was great, food at the restaurant was excellent.

I love everything about this hotel, except for the bathrooms. Please, please, please invest the money in shower doors. It's cold in the open shower is cold and water gets all over the place.

Very friendly and helpful driveway-side help in their loop. Beautiful and simple designs everywhere from lobby to the rooms. A bit cramped with multiple large pieces of luggage but we were fine. Place is showing its age just a bit but was decently maintained and nothing was really broken. Comfy beds and pillows.

The place was amazing, especially for the price we paid. My ONLY complaint, was how heavily sprung the room doors were, such that we heard doors slamming hard all morning and couldn't sleep :(

I'm not sure if properties reserve certain rooms for Expedia members but we noticed a difference from our last stay (booked direct with property). This room we booked via Expedia had less amenities like the room looks weathered down & the bath robes were not offered. Ok for an overnight stay I guess.

Timeless but modern elegance. Impeccably clean. Attentive staff. No tip facility. Walking distance to Westwood and on the UCLA historic campus.

The room and bathroom are a good size but the lighting in the room is so poor that it was difficult to read. Also we found the beds a little hard. We were not told when we checked in that we needed to make reservations at the restaurant immediately or we could be shut out of breakfast and dinner which both happened.

This was absolutely one of the best places we have ever stayed. I stayed here while visiting colleges with my son. It’s on the UCLA campus so it’s extremely convenient if you have any business there. From the time I made the reservation I received messages and reminders from the Luskin asking if I needed anything special or had any requests. They answered all messages almost immediately. The front desk was amazing. Very welcoming and helpful. The food in the restaurant is gourmet. There is no tipping allowed. The staff behaves as if they really like their job and are receiving a good, living wage. I wholeheartedly recommend the Luskin to anyone. It is a true gem.

This is a very nice hotel. Spacious inside and outside of the rooms. The Restuarant serves delicious food. However, a family member had an operation at the Stein Institute and would prefer to eat in the room. The take-out menu does not have good options, and the restaurant staff refused to provide the regular menu items as take-out. It was disappointing.

We were looking for close proximity to the Getty Center. This was it, and more! The room was spacious , clean and well appointed. The towels were thick and soft.The pillows, however, although fluffy, were small. The grounds of UCLA were beautiful to walk through. Plateia restaurant was very good. All the staff encountered, were friendly, gracious and extremely hospitable. I have already recommended to a friend.

Love the architecture of the Luskin : elegant, functional inside and outside, with a pleasant staff and excellent transportation (even during the storm)to the medical facilities of UCLA. Made our stay much easier and enjoyable.

Stayed here while visiting my UCLA student. It is a campus gem. Very clean, modern, and airy feel. A great place for parents to stay!

On the UCLA campus, gratitude free restaurant

The room had no outlets at the desk for my devices. Underneath the table was the only opportunity, which caused me to climb down on the floor, which is difficult. I used the outlet next to the bed for my iPhone. The housekeeper knocked on my door at 11:30 am, although the check-out time was noon and I had a privacy card posted on the door outside my room. This is not O.K.

The room was clean, beds were amazing and room felt comfy. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Wonderful hotel inside UCLA. Lawson at the front desk was very helpful during check in. Highly recommend staying here while in LA for peaceful respite away from hectic city life.
