It was a centuries palace has been carefully restored. Beautiful mosaic all over. Huge room and very clean. Rooftop terrace has a big glass surrounded sunroom for dining. We had both dinner and breakfast there. Food was standard traditional Moroccan.
Hotel is wonderful all around but a little under staffed. We call several before arriving but were never answered.

Overall stay was ok, property is nice. Location is nice in the middle of Medina so walkable distance to everything. Six of us used Hamman , really would not recommend this part at all ! You spend $85 service person worth $10 no more ! Use any local hamman instead . First of all 3 person gets only 2 person to wash you, so you dont even get one on one experience! Second staff is not professional, and not really sure what they are doing ! Girls kept on chatting, laughing and kept on leaving room . From 60 minutes you only got 10 minutes maximum per person. Third promised black sea salt mask, creams are not existing! They even used Dove shampoo to wash you :))) So for conclusion stay at Riad is nice, services offered needs really to be worked on ! 3 families of 12 ppl , December 2023

Wara and Hamid are courteous and attentive. We had breakfast/dinner on the rooftop which was tasty/freshly made.The interior of the Riad and the room (has a high ceiling) have 14th century decour. Bathroom is spacious and clean
Also, this Riad is located in the outskirts of the Medina so it is easy access with cars, minivans etc.

Our stay at the Riad Fes Maya was amazing. It is an old building that has been upgraded with modern conveniences without destroying the cultural ambiance of the original structure. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Wara the manager who was on duty during our stay. We arrived later in the evening, and she was there to greet us. She took the time to explain everything about the hotel and even some information related to the Moroccan culture which was fantastic since that is one of the main reasons we traveled to Morocco. Truly a lovely hotel and experience.

This was the most beautiful and inspired place we have ever stayed. The Riad was stunning, the food was incredible and the staff were amazing.

Riad Fes Maya is a work of art! Antiques and excellent interior design. Great location and the best service. Staff makes you feel at home: Wara, Hadid and Aimen are helpful and welcoming 24/7. Beautiful rooftop views. I recommend this Riad, the best in Fes.

We loved the Riad Fes Maya. It felt luxurious and from a different time and place. Our room was spacious and spectacular. Breakfast on the roof was delicious with an amazing view. We enjoyed dinner one night as well. The woman in charge was very helpful.

Beautifully ornate riad which used to be a palace, walking distance to most attractions in Fez, with very welcoming and experienced staff. Breakfast was fresh and exquisite, traditional dinner was also some of the best food we had on our Morocco trip.

The courtyard was spectacular, the room was Arabian posh, carving and stained glass. Super comfy bed and an excellent roof top restaurant on site. Staff was exceptionally helpful in arranging every detail for transfers and tours. Highly recommend!

One of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The historic riad has been impeccably restored and the family suite was the perfect size for 4 of us. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and we really enjoyed the home made meals on the roof terrace.

This property is amazing not just for the beauty of the decoration, the delicious food, the espectacular bedrooms, and great location, but the people are very special and gain your heart with their kindness, warm welcoming and all the efforts to accommodate everything to our needs.

Very spacious room and very authentic Moroccan style. Good air-conditioning in room. Hot water and strong pressure in bathroom. This is important especially after a day walk in the souks. Staff are all very nice and helpful. We need to check out early morning, they are kind to prepare packed breakfast for us and help us to get a taxi. Strongly recommend this Riad to my friends.
The only drawback is the bathtub as it’s a bit high (there are two wooden steps aside) and in plastic material.

We had no idea the beauty of this place by the pictures.. You will feel like royalty here and treated as such. Do yourself a favor and just book it. Everything was amazing thank you Sama and thanks to all your staff!

This place is out of this world. It used to be a palace & it has been restored with the best craftmanship I've ever seen. It feels like staying in a museum. It is Absolutely spotless, and the staff are amazing. My partner hurt his knee while traveling to the hotel and Hamid and the other staff couldn't have done enough to help. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable & everyone including the cleaners asked about our wellbeing each day-FANTASTIC! Can't believe places like this exist.

This riad had an amazing view of the Medina from the terrace, and the area is very peaceful. Upon arrival the service from the staff was amazing and they made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The interior reception area is stunning as well.

Probably one of the most incredible Riad interiors in Fez. Service speed and efficiency needs work, but the staff means well and strives to please. Towels are ready to be replaced, as is the shower head in our suite. Porters are on-point and extremely helpful.

I loved this beautiful Riad and the hospitality team. Sama, in particular, goes the extra mile to ensure every think you might need or want is taken care of. The location is a five minute walk from the old Medina, and taxis can easily park for pick-up. The property common areas as well as the rooms are truly sumptuous -- this is one of the most gorgeous hotels I've stayed in anywhere in the world.

Overall riad fes was exceptional however the entrance getting to the hotel should be repaired and a better Rain Shower head should be installed in the bathroom

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Fes Maya. The place is an absolutely gorgeous 14 Century palace that was restored with real attention to detail. It is like a museum yet cozy. But the BEST part of all is the staff. Starting with Samae who never stop to make your stay even more pleasant and Hamid and Ayman ready to help you with every single need you may have with a big smile. They all make you feel at home. I totally recommend staying at Fes Maya.

The staff make this property special. The room was very spacious and provided the cultural experience. Breakfast was included and was very good. The rooftop spaces were perfect; there is a choice of open air or enclosed spaces. But the staff are exceptional. They can arrange anything at a moments notice. This site is very convenient to get to, and that is key when you have luggage. Highly recommend this property.

This beautiful property has not got the attention it deserves. This property is not 4 stars, 2 at best. The rooms are stuffy. Bedding was old and itchy. Walls are paper thin, i heard people from the kitchen talking till 1am. The towels are old and worn down. The flowers and plants through out the property are dying or dead. Breakfast was not worth the wait.

Beautiful Riad with exceptional tile work in atrium and rooms. Staff were attentive and extremely helpful in organizing laundry and advising activities including arranging transport to chefchuin. Would highly recommend this Riad

The room has a very strong stinky smell because of broken sewer system that people can't stay. But there is no solution from the hotel, they said the hotel is fully booked so the front desk ask us to figure out alternative by ourselves and throw us out the hotel at 11pm.

Couldn't have loved our stay more. The riad is so beautiful, it's like sleeping in a museum. Everything is so well maintained. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. We had all our meals there and loved the quality and relaxing environment.

We really enjoyed staying at this Riad. It’s a literal palace! Dinner was great and the tour they booked with Adil was great. We were only in Fes for a short time, but we felt like we saw everything we wanted and more. Finally, the lady at the front desk was so amazingly helpful! 10/10!

It was a different experience in staying at a Riad. Property is NOT that easily seen from outside. Would need local guide to locate the property.

My adult daughter and i arrived from Malaga to Fez airport at 1 a.m and the hotel had a driver waiting for us at the airport (for an extra fee of couse). We were made to feel welcomed even though we arrived at such an inconvenient hour. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was very good and the coffee was the best.
We had dinner at the hotel and it was delicious. The best part of our trip to Fez was the Maya. It is an absolute oasis in the medina

On the edge of the lower Medina. Historic exceptional property. Great breakfast on the rooftop with comfortable rooms. Bath tubs raised so very difficult to get in and out. Anna the manager is terrific. Could use one more server for breakfast.
