On the back pf pandemic the hotel provided clean and hygienic living conditions. Although it felt that the hotel was not fully operational, there was no let up in the service and effciency

It is just a pitty for a well designed hotel and rooms, seeing a weak management. Lifts were not cleaned, towels were dirty, bed sheets not so cleaned . Snd up to 1.30 the base of the music from function room was shaking the rooms . We did complaint from 11 pm but didn’t work.

Do NOT stay here. Expedia has nothing to tell you it is all vegetarian so you cannot even get eggs for breakfast!!!! Their Indian veg food is not even warm and very bland awful you can get much nicer anywhere else. If you want burnt toast or horrible unhealthy donuts or dry croissants or pancakes from a box mixture with no eggs and pay more than $10 for it go ahead you will be disappointed I guarantee it. We spoke to the manager HE BLAMED US. Typical of their attitude they don’t understand service as we in the west do. They are very arrogant here not a good atmosphere at all. Every night VERY loud Indian music and voices from their ballrooms on the 2nd floor. Walls are paper thin so can hear everything in nearby rooms and open area on 4th floor. There is a horrible strong scent in the open area on the 4th floor chocking feeling it is so bad so anyone with allergies beware. The rom and bathroom OK BUT cannot turn on bathroom light without the room light master switch really bad design!!! The carpets in the hallway have horrible stains on them even though this is supposed to be a new hotel. They make money from Indian people who have wedding and other celebrations here. They have no interest in foreign tourism. Would NEVER stay again and would tell others to avoid it at all costs. Lots of other better options.

First off all this place have not shown up professional service for me. I have seen lot of good reviews so I trust them and I booked for 5 days in Jaipur. I have been despondent off the service in the launch area, the first thing they want to know if I can drink alcohol so than it will be easy to manipulate me for more money from my packet. I have asked some help and quidens regarding with food if is spicy or not what are alternative to eat and rarely you find outside somebody to quidens.the room have not been isolated 100% and you hear all the noise from inside. Specially if you walk all day to visit the important place in town and you need silent hours to rinchargi your battery. You can the Internet connection have not been good as well after several minutes it stops and you have to wait until your connection is back.

I hate writing negative reviews but my stay at Shakun was genuinely one of the worst stays in Jaipur. From the get go as soon as we got to the hotel, we were greeted by the rudest front desk manager ever! When I booked through Expedia I mistakenly selected stay for one person, when I got to the hote, I was told that they charge more for the second person, I found this strange because the second person is my husband and how does it even changes the use of the property. I told him that I think this fees is ridiculous and I have never ever had this kind of issue with any other hotel, to which he said that “ why didn’t you book another hotel, if you book with us we charge for the second guest”. Reluctantly we paid for the second guest. Then we were forced to pay for some Christmas gala dinner which we had no plans of going to and we’re forced to pay 2000rs/ head. After all the extortion was done, we proceeded to check in. First day was okay because we didn’t use the facilities. The second day till the day we checked out, the flush broke every single day, they will come in and blame it on us that we don’t know how to use that particular flush properly, which again is a ridiculous thing, it’s not a computer programming language that I need to learn in advance. I needed an iron box and asked for one, when the person delivered it to me he said that the iron box should be in the bathroom, I told him that I didn’t see it there, which again was rude and untrue
