staff is friendly and attentive

Stayed here for a softball tournament. Everything was good. Bathroom had some paint missing and hot water took awhile to heat up. Other than that it was perfectly fine.

Our toilet seat had urine on the seat and the hot water didn’t work. We switched rooms, upon arriving to the new room it smelled like it had been cleaned very well. When we went in the bathroom the previous guest dirty shirt was hanging on the door, so now I’m questioning if the room was actually cleaned or just deodorized.

Overall my stay was ok however, I made ran adjustment from king room to a double. But the change was not input and the hotel was completely booked so no other room was available. The staff was very accommodating but I suggest at least providing a roll a way bed for rent to help out with things beyond the customers control especially when I called early enough and prior to my arrival date. Ended up spending money I did not have to spare.

The desk representative was friendly and professional. However, the room was not cleaned well, there was no hot water (lukewarm at best), the bathtub/shower was not cleaned. I could literally see streaks of residue on the shower walls. The wall behind the toilet was missing paint and plaster. The chair and lamp in the room were not clean. The bath towels were tossed in the storage area. The towels were extremely thin and needed to be replaced. You had to use two remotes for the television and had to figure out which was which. I didn't feel comfortable at all in the room. It was just a horrible hotel stay for me and I do not plan on using Best Western again.Jason was extremely friendly and professional, but the room itself was absolutely awful.

This was the best breakfast we’ve had at a hotel in a long time! The pancake maker was perfect and the food was all hot and delicious!

Good place to stay. El Jarrito is across the parking lot, food is good and 2 for 1 draft and margaritas.

My experience at the Best Western in Ruston, La was fair. No hot water for a shower, bathroom door didn't lock. I experience housekeeping with her two small children with her as she attempted to work. (As a mother of three, I truly understand the struggle of having to work and care for small children, but come on how great of a job (cleaning the rooms) can you do with her kids with you on the floors. On the day of check out housekeeping banged on my room door as if their were the police. Traveling by myself for the first time since the loss of my husband I was terrified by the commotion. They proceeded to come into the room without notice, I was in the shower at the time. This cause additional anxiety to my already anxious emotional state of mind. The behavior/service of housekeeping/hotel staff confirms I would never stay at this establishment again, and I don't recommend any elso to stay here.

All of the front desk workers were great. Very hospitable and friendly.

Shower head was falling off and we had to ask to have breakfast restocked (the pancake bag needed to be replaced.

The rooms/linens were not properly cleaned. The rooms were outdated, no option for a smart tv, just cable. Breakfast was lackluster.

The room was large and the bed comfy, even though the elastic on bottom sheet was too worn to keep the sheet on the bed. Tears in the shower curtain. And the front desk staff was not the friendliest we have encountered. They were more focused on enjoying each other’s company. The cleaning staff, however, were kind and attentive. The breakfast was short on choices but hot and well cooked. We had stayed here a year or so ago, and it was much better then. If the management doesn’t step up soon, it will be on its way to being rundown.

The property waa very nice and clean. The staff was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

The desk clerk was polite and professional. Check in was quick. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a good nights sleep.

The staff was great as was the breakfast, however my bathroom was dirty and not properly cleaned. There was a dried out stiff wash cloth handing from the shower curtain rod and hair in the tub! It also smelled like that mildewy sour rancid smell, possibly from the shower curtain itself. Also the bed wasn't comfortable and quite hard. The manager needs to check the housekeepers to make sure they are thoroughly cleaning the rooms.

The hotel seems to have undergone a recent renovation so it’s nice and clean but what stood out the most was the super friendly staff at check in!

Towels were in terrible shape....thin and very small. And we had to use the same towels the next day as they said there were no more clean towels downstairs.

This is a fairly new hotel. Although not filthy not what I would consider clean, the room I am in anyway. The entrance of the hotel is clean but the rooms need to be deep cleaned. Lots of stains on the walls, bathroom tub and toilet were stained. Thankfully I travel with cleaning supplies. I got in late so made sure to put my dnd sign on door. They still knocked on the door before 10. The check in agent was friendly and got me checked in swiftly. I was tired and a bit grumpy. His bubbly personality was infectious and snapped me right out of that. He deserves a raise.

AC not working properly. Bags of trash and laundry from the days cleaning were still in the hallway in the evening, only some toiletries provided, others were missing. The soap had already been opened. NO COFFEE IN THE ROOM.

Usually a very good hotel I stay at when visiting family 3-4 times a year. This visit the hotel room was dirty, chair was broken pushed in a corner and the big lamp didn’t work and the desk lamp had a shortage

Very good hotel. It was one good item after anotherWe trusted the hotel staff and were very comfortable our entire stay. We will return there again when visiting our grandson at LAvTevh
