I travel for work a lot. This might have been the worst stay ever. There was a huge dance competition going on at the hotel. There are 3 elevators. Im assuming the hotel was full bc of all the people...only 1 elevator was working. There was a long line of people waiting to use this one elevator all night. I chose to leave the hotel to grab some food. I had self parking, my key fob didnt work. I had to walk back through all the people, from the garage in the cold to get my keys to work to get out of the garage. This happened 3 TIMES, my key fob didnt work to get out of the garage. I get back from getting my food. Now none of the elevators are working. I had to walk up 9 flights of stairs. I workout 5 days a week so i wasnt really bothered. What really bothered me was there was a lady walking up to the 9th floor with me that was 70yrs old. I definitely will not be staying here ever again.

This hotel was one of the nicest hotel, I’ve ever stayed at, Great customer service, room was nice and clean, hotel lobby area was very nice. I would definitely stay here again. I travel a lot and stay at only 4 or 5 star hotels, this one was perfect!!!!!

This hotel is excellent! Nice quiet rooms. The hotel is clean. The staff was very kind to all guests. Bed is not too hard and not too soft.

Nice place.

We loved this hotel! We were visiting family in the area for Christmas and there was a wonderful mood everywhere. There was a nice big fireplace downstairs with comfortable furnishings downstairs where everybody gathered to have coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Part of the hotel's restaurant opened to the gathering area which added to the "bustling" vibe. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. The hotel is also dog friendly which was a plus for us. Conveniently located at Avalon, there is plenty to keep you busy during your stay. We look forward to returning in the future!

Was really surprised in the condition of the hotel for this area. Front doors not working, only 1 of the 3 elevators operational, closet door in room broken so couldn’t even hang clothes, shower soap dispensers did not pump.

We love this hotel because the bar is an amazing place to relax, get a great drink and people watch.

Booked a larger 1 king bed guestroom corner 2 months (Oct.22nd) in advance for Dec 22-26. Arrived at check- in and was advised they oversold and my selected tier of room was no longer available. Got a room 1 tier below what I paid for with a great view overlooking the main strip (room 1100) and front desk provided 2 $15 comps to South City Kitchen. It's relatively quiet. Main entrance closed 2 out of the 4 days of my stay. 1st elevator- wouldn't take you to 11th floor because that button on both sides of the elevator doesn't work. It stopped on 11 if you called it from 11 to go down to the lobby. 2nd elevator- fully out off order. 3rd elevator was the only one fully funtioning in an oversold "full service" hotel over Christmas holiday. Staff was pleasant and professional. It's a shame what they probably deal with due to BS like overselling rooms booked 2 months in advance for the holidays and charging premium prices to do so, hence the average rating. This hotel really just benefits from its close proximity to all the amenities around it, professional valet, front desk and cleaning staff, and great views depending on room location. There are some places nearby that might provide similar service and save you money but aren't as convenient and walkable. The location is absolutely great, booking and maintenance during my stay - not so much.

I love the location of this hotel. It’s beautiful and right in the middle of great shopping and dining options. But I’m pretty upset that we had booked a corner room (and got a corner room). But if you saw this location, you’d most likely assume a front corner room for a premium price, right? No. We had 2nd floor back corner over looking every (I mean EVERY) air conditioning unit for the building. The other window overlooked the flat roof of the parking garage or the building. Just gross. The only beautiful thing we could see was the highway beyond. Sooooo disappointed in our room I can’t even explain it. :(

Front end Staff was awesome. My initial room didn't have the best accommodations, I went downstairs and requested a room change and within 5 minutes I was moved to a different room. My apologies for not getting the staff member's name, but she was extremely helpful!

The name Avalon and location is what made me book this hotel. However, the room is very small and the bathroom utilities needs to be updated. At this time I would not recommend the hotel for staying. I would say the Avalon scenery is beautiful.

Great property!

Property and room were great and clean. They had us pay $75 extra per night for”incidentals” and didn’t give us the option to not run the card. It feels like they are stealing money. Sure you get it back in a week but you’re holding my money. I do not want to to charge anything to my room. I don’t need incidentals at $75 night- very pricey! Staff was ok- they dropd me I didn’t have to use hotel parking and can park in the deck next store but I felt weird about it as I read online the Avalon could tow your card. So I parked my two cars at $17 per car. Very expensive extras. But the room was clean and nice and convenient except for them holding $75 extra per night and $17/night for parking.

Great hotel

While checking into the property, they informed me that the King Room I had booked was unavailable and only queen beds were an option. Yet, the site still allowed me to book a King Size room. She was quick to let it be known that I had booked through a 3rd party. While the rooms are nice and I felt safe, the walls are super thin! I have heard every person open and close a door, conversations from everyone that has passed by my door and music from the adjoining room…..all night. Hotel is in a great location, convenient to shopping and eateries and is upscale compared to other hotels in the area. The rooms are overall clean although I found an earring back next to the bed/nightstand and plenty of hair on the bedding skirt. The front desk staff could be more courteous but otherwise the stay was great and the hotel is the best in the area.

I love how they always remember me. I am completely safe with all my favorite amenities… Walkable to all the dining and shopping.

Nice place to stay. Lots of places to eat nearby and great shopping!
