Our room reservation not available upon our arrival- the front desk staff was very polite, apologized and told us they could update our room in the AM, but that was misinformation. When we checked back the following morning, we were told all the rooms for our reservation type were sold out due to a basketball tournament and teams staying onsite. As we were heading out early that morning to a basketball tournament ourselves, we realized multiple vehicles all throughout the parking lot had been broken into. Thankfully ours was not, but that seemed to be pure luck. (We later learned a total of 17 vehicles had been broken into!!) While this seemed like a nice, quiet, rural area, we were very hesitant to return for fear we might experience a similar issue the next morning. With multiple sports tournaments in town and hotels fully booked/sold out, we didn’t have much of a choice. Would not return. I also requested follow-up from hotel management and a response/contact from hotels.com/Expedia, neither of which I’ve received yet.

Friendly front desk agent. Breakfast was decent and had various options. Needed more fruits choices. Bathroom didn’t offer soap @ the sink, which was unusual.

The hotel itself was nice. However it did take awhile for a hostess to come to the desk so we could check in. Also the room wasnt very clean there was grease or something on the dresser that hadn't been wiped down and the pull out couch sheets had dirt and had to ask for fresh sheets. Other than that the rooms were spacious and polite employees.

Excellent !!! Very good experience. Nice and friendlg staff. Very clean and neat. Good breakfast buffet. Nice location close to a lot of great things from Walmart, Sams, BJ's, Malls, Restarutants, etc. Only 15-20 min from the airport.

Room was very clean, staff was friendly and gave good advice on a local eatery. Breakfast was a nice option to start the day. While the gym wasn’t too big, it provided good equipment that worked and was also clean.

Always a pleasure staying here! This trip was the first we ate breakfast before leaving. What a wonderful selection of fresh fruits, eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh waffles and a variety of usual "cold" items like cereal, muffins, toast, etc.
The suite we booked was perfect for our family of four. Tons of room for the kids to move around after a long travel trip in the sitting area of the room. Then a spacious pullout bed when it was time for winding down for the night. Beds were comfortable and made for a restful evening to prepare for the second half of our trip! Front desk staff is always so welcoming when we arrive in the evening!

When I arrived I was informed the property was oversold and they could not accommodate my reservation. No attempt was made to reach out to me even though my phone number and email address were used when booking. No attempt was made to keep me, other than telling me ‘you’ll have to call Expedia’.

We came to Charlotte for a medical procedure. Firstly, it was in a great location, greenway walking trail was a 5 minute walk away. The staff was able to get us into our room early. Room was clean and spacious (we had the suite w/ a sofa and extra TV).
The complementary breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel at this price point, whomever made the breakfast showed care in the perfect scrambled eggs and near perfect bacon.
Gym could have used a floor mat (yoga type) to keep people off the hard floor.

Quiet, uneventful stay. They charge $20 extra at check in to cover "incidentals" by which they mean damage to the room. When asked they say it will be refunded if no damage is found after check out. This all should be explained upfront. Two appliances in my room did not work (one bedside lamp and the room coffee maker). At the complementary breakfast the oatmeal was cold and watery.

The room was spotless and the frurnishings were nice and the staff were all friendly. The A/C unit was very loud and the toilet clunked every time you sat down or got up. We were very disappiinted with the breakfast. There were a few cold boiled eggs but no other protien. They were out of breakfast meat, scrambled eggs, and yougurt. There was only 1 milk left. The manger explained that the vendor was late. She said she had a discretionary fund but it took time to get funds released to obtain additional supplies outside of normal distribution channels. There is a BJs right across the street. I would expect a Marroitt establisment to enable thier mangers to quickly cover shortages. We could have stayed at a less expensive hotel. This was definately not up to the standards we expected of Mariott. We will not be staying again next ti.e we are in Charlotte.

My family’s stay was a great experience. Staff was fantastic, hotel was spotless including our room. Breakfast was very good with a great selection of breakfast choices. I would recommend for anyone to stay there.

Great property but the cons are the bedroom linen were dirty and they are by a sewage plant. There will be horrible smell through the night.

Always a good place (we have been here at least 6 times) but they had no coffee at all on Sunday’s breakfast. And it was not all that busy in the three days we stayed there. A bit of management oversight needed here.

The hotel was fine. It had a beautiful fire pit and lounge area outside which I didn't use as it was in use by another party, but it looked inviting. The breakfast was good. My duvet cover had red spots on it that looked like blood. I inspected the bed for bed bugs and didn't see any, thank goodness. But the bed covering wasn't clean. We also didn't get maid service during our stay.

I checked in very late and had to leave around 8.30am the next day. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Good visit as usual. We were able to get a first floor room which made dog walking easy. Only issue is that the AC compressor in Room 120 was quite noisy, and it did not seem to cool effectively. Set on 66 it did not cool nearly as well as our home AC set on 73.

This was a great place to stay for 5 nights, it was clean, the staff was friendly, and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint is the cost of the food was a bit pricey the wines weren't worth $15 - $17 a glass, but both were optional.
