Me and my two friends came for a weekend beach trip. Overall we had a fabulous stay. You can not beat the location, right across from the convention center and beach. But also at the quieter end of the boardwalk. The staff was absolutely lovely. The hotel definitely could use some renovations but it got the job done. Would personally love for the pool to be open later. The bathroom though very nice is very small. Only thing was the parking lot is incredibly small and we weren’t told about the overflow lot until we arrived. It’s the next block over and not far at all. We just would have liked to know in advanced.

Stay was nice. Hotel staff was friendly and location was convenient. Upon my arrival to the hotel, the bedsheets were dirty. They were stained and because of this I was unsure whether they were cleaned or not. I asked the front desk for new sheets and was given one bed sheet and one throw blanket. I made it work. Bathroom was newly renovated which was nice. I think the hotel should make it clear that there is a bar right downstairs from the hotel which can get quite loud. I stayed in room 416 (directly above hotel) and I could hear music and people in my room. However, I'm not a light sleeper so it wasn't too big of an issue for me. Pool was clean and front desk let me check out an hour later. I'd stay here again...just check your sheets before!

Arrived 8/7 to a VERY outdated “cottage” (it was just a mini motel). The pullout couch had nasty food stuck to the cushions. The 2 bedrooms had “portable air conditioners” that had instructions stating to put water in the bin & add ice packs from the freezer. That did NOTHING! My sister had to leave & spend even more money to get a room elsewhere because her infant was over-heating. My 2 children (3y and 7m) & I slept on the pullout sofa & my husband slept on the floor because the only AC was in the living room. There is only 1 tv in the cottage, in the living room but the couch is only big enough to seat 3 adults. Called prior to ensure there was a stove/oven so we didn’t have to eat out every night. Well there was duct tape sealing the oven & a Do Not Use sign on stove. The bathroom shower curtain had orange substance on it. I cut myself on the sharp tile jutting out of the bathroom doorway. Broken bathroom door handle. Old used toiletries. Looking for privacy or hoping to keep the early sun out? Nope! No curtains on any window. The one set of blinds has a hole. I called Tues morning and told woman we were having a lot of problems. She stated the manager wasn’t there and would try to call back. Oh and btw there isn’t someone at the desk 24/7 so good luck with that. Sent message to Facebook page. Received voicemail dated Wed from Mike but we were on the beach all day. I didn’t see it til Thurs morning when we were leaving. At checkout she didn’t even ask how our stay was.

The property is well kept and the staff is friendly. The pool area was great with the music playing, swim up tiki bar, and snack bar. It was close to the beach and boardwalk. One block down was the cork bar that had music at night and sold beer and liquor during the day. Across the street from that was a bagel place, and another block down was Uncle Bill’s Pancakes. The only drawback was the lack of parking in the main lot. In order to unload and load the car, you had to either illegally park, or pay a meter for parking because most people staying at the hotel had to park at the second lot a block away.

First time here! All in all had a great stay … had a few issues in our room that were maintenance type things but got taken care of … rooms were nice, staff was great, it was very convenient and close to the beach !

Close to the beach, pool was fantastic as well as the jacuzzi. Would definitely stay again. Only down fall was there was no dresser or place to it your clothes, the bed was a bit on the hard side and the one sheet on the bed had a smell to it. We took it off the bed completely.

All Employees were so helpful and nice. Motel was clean and located in a great location, great views from the balcony.

I noticed this place had lower ratings and wanted to come give a good one. We were right next to the beach and boardwalk, walking distance to many popular dining places, and had a tiki bar in the pool. It was relatively clean. The cleaning service gave us extra towels and washcloths without us asking, as we had the do not disturb sign up. It was a good location, let us check in late due to a concert we were coming from, and everyone was extremely nice. Best bang for your buck if you ask me. Bathrooms looked newly renovated and was clean enough to be comfortable. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway, this hotel did us just fine!

Solid MOTEL for a short 2 day stay. Booked last minute, definitely was not worth $300 a night, but the location is great. Only complaint is the makeshift floor ramp located right outside our room. Every time someone walks across the ramp or when the hotel staff ran there service carts up and down the ramp it sound like someone was trying to break down the door. Very annoying!!

Very close to the boardwalk, which was awesome! Room was clean. Only problems we had was the shower had next to no water pressure and the window started leaking during a thunderstorm. Overall very nice though.

The hotel is in an excellent location, across the street from the boardwalk and attractions. All the front staff were amazing and well accommodating. There were few cons about the hotel though, I booked a single room and it was super small. It’s a little bit bigger than an office space. Windows leaked a lot during a storm day, and toilet constantly leaked on the floor. The cleaning crew didn’t clean daily which is a problem with a small room because the garbage in room and bathroom start to smell.. The next day, I looked for them to ask them to clean the room and change the sheets, when I came back, I found that they just covered the bed and took out the room garbage, leaving the bathroom garbage and the night table stand dirty. The floor carpet is very dirty and old in the whole floor not just the room. I was told the whole hotel was renovated but it seems that my side was not and the other side of the hallway was. Based on the new room doors with digital keys.

There was a water bottle from prior guests, chairs on balcony were dirty, during power outage there was no battery backup lighting in hallways (had to use personal flashlight) and door to room did not close properly - had to slam to close and when trying to open had to use shoulder to push open.

Hotel staff very nice and accommodating. Pool facilities are great! Tiki swim up bar, snack bar, and an inside bar during the evening when pool is closed.

Need some upgrades

It was absolutely amazing! The power was out in Wildwood and we were going to be arriving late, around 2 am. I called in advance to advise them of this, they made sure someone was able to check us in. I also informed them I was handicap and they ensured I had a room close to the elevator as their power was back up. They also said if power went down they would work something out to get me a room on a lower level. They even went as far as turning on our air so the room was cool and I did not get sick. They were amazing and kind!

the dirty and cold jacuzzi

I have not written many reviews but I felt compelled to write one for this property, considering there are a lot of negative ones floating here... I stayed here at this property for 2 nights and everything was amazing. The staff was friendly, the room and the bathroom were clean and the atmosphere was lively. The pool, bar, Jacuzzi and the tikki bar were nice and I had a fun time there. The property is close to the boardwalk, good and diverse restaurants, shops, many fun attractions and that makes it super convenient. The staff was kind enough to let me park my car in their parking premises at no cost even after I checked out... With this, I was able to enjoy some additional time at the beach and I am thankful to them for the same. Yes, I hope to visit the property again... Hope this review helps.

Front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating. Location can’t be beat. Room was very nice and clean. Housekeeping was on top of the room. Lots of amenities included - onsite bar, on-site pool with hot tub, swim up bar. We had a great time. Will definitely stay again!

Old School Beach Resort type property. I stayed in their "retro" rooms, which means, old, and small, but also clean and quiet. Staff is friendly enough, but parking is simply abysmal, with most cars having to park in an "overflow" lot a block and a half a way.

The location of the room was fantastic. The staff was fantastic. The two bars were fantastic. The mattress was brand new new n super comfortable. I would change the following… instead of having a large table on one side of the bed put two small end tables on both sides with shelving or drawers. Move the bed over n put a small half moon table with chairs by the wall. Put in a long full mirror. Put another lamp on or behind the new end dresser. In the bathroom put shelving above the toilet. Every else was great. Just need a bit more ideas when working with a small room. Overall enjoyed my stay and would return.

My boyfriend and I stayed her a couple of years ago during COVID and had a great stay so we decided to stay here again. It is conveniently located and staff we great.

beds were very loop sided / uneven mattress. The room was not clear too well at all. No Chair in room. refrigerator was not cold enough, One of the ladies said that is as cold as it can get. main reason for stay was comfort

The property location is good but the property itself isn’t well maintained, the washroom’s weren’t clean and the rooms were in okay condition. The staff was good and the parking facility is nice

Had nowhere to park when I arrived, overflow lot far from hotel

I loved the location, the staff was very nice! The website suggests some renovations were done, but I didn't see any. My balcony door had badly placed plastic vents instead of the glass, therefore anything flying could enter my room (and did). The refrigerator didn't work properly. Overall, I'd give it another shot but only after the renovations which we were told would start in October 22'.

The property is an older facility, like most facilities in Wildwood, and was well-maintained and well-run.

The oceanic hotel in wildwood Nj is an absolute dump. My husband and I stayed there this past weekend and were completely misled of the property and rooms they provide. The advertise clean, newly renovated rooms and that is the complete opposite of what you get when you arrive. The bathrooms looked like they haven’t been touched since the 70s. The mirror had black spots all over it and could barley see myself in it. When I complained the manager and front desk clerk shrugged their shoulders and said “there’s nothing they can do they are fully booked.” They did offer a full refund but I couldn’t find another place available to stay because every hotel in the area was booked due to a concert and a comic convention. Very disappointing considering we spent a lot of money on a two night stay. Gross! I will never recommend this place or stay there ever again.
