Perfect for a couple get away.

Place was great!!

The property was near a lake as well as walking half a block to the beach. The lawn was nice and plump featuring well tended trees, hydrangias and other flowers. The chaises were great day and night. Daytime sunshine and nighttime fireflies. There were always light snacks, fresh baked muffins and cookies and soft drinks an arms length away.

Lovely stay “down the shore”.

The service, the theatre, the facility, the beach, the cleanliness, the breakfast was AWESOME. My new place vist. Ill be back!!!

Old timey charm with included breakfast. I expected maybe bagels and mini boxes of cereal, but instead we got on demand French toast, omelettes, pancakes, etc. They provide beach towels and chairs for free and will set them up for you for a nominal fee. They have a little screening room with dvds and streaming (you can log into your own Netflix). Very comfortable. They have neverending hot water (i actually had to turn down the heat quite low). The lights and ceiling fan are on remote so you don’t have to get out of bed. 15 min walk to Main Street for restaurants. 1 min walk to the beach. Included parking. Really left nothing to be desired, we can’t wait to go back.

This property has many luxuries rooms with fireplaces and even Jacuzzis in some. Make sure you know what size room you're reserving. There is at least one tiny room. You can see the rooms best on their website.

Quick access to beach.

Cashelmara is in a lovely garden setting opposite the beach. At least partial ocean views from most rooms. The manager Mary is warm and welcoming. Breakfast is better than average with a number of selections you can choose from, and the staff is very accommodating. Have stayed here a number of times over the past 25 years and it is always very pleasant.

Great place to stay right by the beach. The place was very clean, and the room that we had included a nice ocean view. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I had called in the day before arriving and asked about if they could handle a gluten-free/dairy free diet and they made it happen. Even had a few very tasty gluten free blueberry muffins available. We were in town for a show at the Stone Pony and it was a great place to leave from and come back to. It was pre-season (Mother's Day weekend) so a bit slower than summer, but a really nice and relaxed place to stay.

Beautiful place to stay!

I was upset at the fact that I found some sord of crumbs underneath the sheets and my fiancé noticed some kind of black dried up insects underneath the sheets as well. Made us wonder if they even change their sheets after every customer!??? Manager Mary customer service was good as far as getting me situated in a bigger room other than that i wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here.

Beautiful beach B&B/hotel. Mary was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was very good. The location is as close as you can get to the beach in Avon. The whole area by the beach feels very safe and clean. Cahelmara is furnished with very interesting antiques and has that turn of the [19th] century feel.

Excellent staff. The breakfast was very good. Chef made an outstanding gluten free muffin and made an extra one for the ride home. Property was very clean.

Such a great place to stay when visiting the shore, I felt very welcomed and the room was great!

Did not know it was a Bed and Breakfast. Room extremely cramped and on 3rd floor with a 1/2 width stairway from 2nd to 3rd level. Staying for a wedding and we could barely fit in the tiny bathroom. Hit my shead on the ceiling dormer angles 3 times. No outlets available for chargers. Toilet in room was full of urine, and tub had no shower other than a hand held hose wrapped around the faucet. so they changed our room to a smaller room. Nice staff and great breakfast. Rest of the inn was very nice.

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. An error was made with booking and room assignment and the manager was quick to make things right. Everyone was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend

Great location- very nice B&B. Chef and breakfast was amazing. Our room was small but fine. The bathroom shower wasn’t tall enough to use - but the property had a cool outdoor shower that we used instead!

The staff was very accomodating. They listened and responded to our needs. Peaceful, quiet. Beautiful view of the ocean.

Beautiful property, staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The brunch was AWESOME! The twin bed could have been more comfortable. Otherwise, we were very happy and would return again.

The stay at Cashelmara Inn was very nice. Mary was very friendly and accommodating. The room was good and the property was in a great location. The weather did not cooperate for beach time, but we travel a short distance for a show in Red Bank. This is a great location to do things in the area.

Everything exceeded my expectations.
