Everything we’re excellent!

The hotel looks new and was very clean. The room was large and nicely appointed. The staff was professional and helpful. Even though the hotel was right off the freeway the hotel and my room was quiet. The hotel has an exercise room & laundry room. I was not able to try their breakfast. Definitely worth the money to stay here.

This is a great place to stay while traveling or visiting in Santa Maria. It is close to the 101 and is a safe area to park your car overnight. The breakfast is fresh and warm. The beds are comfortable. We will return.

Abousltly a great hotel, I've stayed in a few hotels in Santa Maria and this is the best by far. Clean, great customer service and the amenities were great including the free breakfast. I used the gym everyday but didnt get a chance to use the great looking pool. I plan on being back in a couple weeks and already booked my stay. I love the Hampton

This was the newest, nicest place I could find as a stop for our road trip so I took a chance. It was just as I had hoped. The front desk people were very nice, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was pretty good. I would definitely stay here again!

I came down for a week work trip I felt very safe I loved my room it was very spacious and I always came back to a clean room the breakfast was amazing everyday they had something different all the staff I came across made me feel very welcomed! Thank you Hampton!

Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating

Rooms were comfortable and clean. I was trying to keep my four kids quiet but once they were all in bed I realized it didn’t matter because our neighbors were even more stompy and loud and the staircase next door could be heard anytime someone used it. Luckily I use a white noise machine, so we were able to sleep.

Cable TV provided multiple sports channels, cooking, gardening and cartoons. NOT ONE cable news channel was included in what was available.

Our room looked great when we first arrived but as we settled in throughout the stay things popped up. A smell from the bathroom sink started to become noticeable. There was hair on the floor where the toilet was and in the bath tub. The couch bed had not been turned and we found food crumbs and no blankets. The wet bar sink was leaking and the refrigerator was turned off. When calling the front desk to ask for bedding for the couch bed we had to wait over an hour and still I had to call the front desk again and finally I had to go down to pickup the bedding I had requested, but was only given one sheet. Without these few things the overall stay would’ve been good but I felt like the front desk staff that was working the first night did not care. When checking out the front desk said they couldn’t change anything on the pricing when I checked out because I had gone through a third party and to check back then next day by calling and speaking to the manager. So again overall the stay would’ve been good but unfortunately it was poor experience. I probably wouldn’t stay at a Hampton again.

It was great as usual, we’ve stayed there a few times before this. Hampton Inns always seem to be very clean within a reasonable price range. We did have one complaint this time, seems a previous tenant had set the alarm clock for 4:00am and woke us both up.

This is a newer Hampton Inn. Lots of small improvements. Our room was pretty typical. It was very roomy with efficient storage, many options for plugging in phones, computers, etc, a great TV and very comfortable king bed. The shower was excellent. Halls were wide enough and the dining area where breakfast is served was very clean. The staff was very pleasant.

Loved the place. Although a bit costly than the other hotels nearby, the place was clean, big spacious rooms, breakfast was alright, the showers weren't bad and was quite (prob cuz I got the room that's facing the parking lot).

This location is very clean and updated. Check in desk is very friendly and helpful there is a indoor pool and gym. This is now out go to hotel when visiting the area. It’s also conveniently located to the freeway. There’s a Wendy’s right outside

Breakfast

It was loud. This was my second time here, second time because the first was comfortable and quiet. Check-in took a long time, only one person working, who was not super friendly. Checkout was also short and unfriendly. I asked for a top-floor room and, despite checking in fairly early and offering to wait, was told there were none availble, even if I did wait. I asked for a quieter room and was given a room with an adjoining room. I could hear my neighbors all night, full conversations, them hacking up a lung, laughing, and going in and out all night to visit their friends across the hall (why not give THEM the adjoining rooms??). Also, facing the front I heard all the motorcycles (why are there ALWAYS motorcycles in Santa Maria?) coming on and off the freeway all day and night. It is clean and updated and has a good location. I probably will try out another hotel in the area when I'm back for work next time.
