A quaint inn with lots of character. We stayed in the “Captain’s Quarters” full of maritime decor and a king bed fit for a captain. Bath and shower clean with colorful towels instead of the usual hotel white. Some noise from other rooms but not too bothersome. Cute coffee trailer in the parking lot for your morning Java.

The south jetty inn was a delight. Every detail is considered. The beds are comfortable, there where games, dvds, coffee and various toiletries.

Quaint, small roadside type motel/inn. Bed was comfortable. Furniture, bedding, decor is mismatched but it is a kitschy beach theme that feels like you are staying overnight at a family members home. The owner greeted us as soon as we got out of our car and addressed us by name. Location is very convenient to both Astoria and the state park down the road. Would recommend!

I will definitely recommend this inn. The owners are friendly and helpful, my room was very cozy and the bed was amazingly comfortable! This isn’t a chain experience, no breakfast buffet or cucumber water. It’s a locally owned mom and pop business so a stay here helps support the area. They even have an expresso kiosk in the parking lot! 👍😊

We had a great stay at the South Jetty. The room was perfectly clean and nicely appointed, great touches and amenities. Check in was smooth, and being greeted by Luna was a great bonus. The location was perfect for getting to the beach, hiking, exploring Astoria, and eating.

Very convenient to Fort Stevens state park.

This is the second time I have stayed at South Jetty. I am absolutely blown away at the comfort I get when I am there. Every room has a theme. The beds are super comfortable. Staying here is pretty close to staying at home and I am here for it.

This is where we stay after the Hood to Coast relay every year. The couple that manages this quaint little motel is very accommodating and wonderful. They certainly take good care of their guests. The rooms are nice and clean, comfy beds, and nicely decorated with a nautical theme. They have a coffee cart outside too which is a nice touch. Just down the way in the town of Hammond is best little diner called Arnie’s which Janice favorite stop for breakfast on our way out of town.

We stayed in Room #1, they let us check in about a half hour early. We were greeted upon arrival by a very sweet dog named Luna. She was wearing a bandana with the hotel name on it. Cute, clean room, nicey updated. The beds were comfy but very firm, maybe add a egg crate or memory foam topper. Loved all the extra homey touches, lots of plugs and charging areas for your stuff, Xbox with games & movies, mini fridge & microwave, kureg, little sitting area, ceiling fan & a electric fireplace! Nice size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Only one tiny bar of soap provided (We usually bring our own but had forgotten it) I went to ask for more but the office was closed. No working bathroom fan however there's a window, it looks out to lots of trees. Great water pressure, be careful the water gets HOT very fast. The walls are a bit thin, our upstairs neighbors were very loud stomping around, then at 5AM we were woken up by stomping and a loud bang. We were too tired to say anything and were only staying the 1 night. The on site coffee cart was a nice touch & good coffee. The welcome binder indicated the pet potty area was by a dumpster along a tree line. We finally found it, it was not clearly marked, no poo station with bags, no good grass area, lots of poo not picked up. It's behind the coffee stand and off to the left, along the edge of the parking lot to the restaurant across the street. The gravel walking all that way was hard on my elderly dog. Overall a nice stay.

Lovely people. We arrived an hour before check in and it was so nice to be able to check in. Clean room with coffee, fridge and microwave. Beds were comfortable in room 8. We would stay again.

This was a great spot to stay! The owners were kind and nice to talk to. The room was clean and well decorated. It also included many extra little items like games to play, full size toiletries, and actual blankets on the bed. It’s also a short drive from the beach. I can’t recommend this place enough!

It was so cute. The way it’s decorated and the cleanliness. Beds were pretty comfortable and I have a bad back so that was good. It was cozy, clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

I liked that this was more affordable for the area, and yet the room was very very clean and decorated very cozy. My friend and I loved it! Very comfortable (firm) beds, nice decor and even extras, like games and puzzles, books and extra of everything. It was in a nice quiet area too which I loved, and a coffee wagon outside to greet you in the morning!

This is the coziest room! King bed in a studio! Homey touches everywhere. You never find this in chain hotels. 2 bar/restaurants next door and across the street. But very quiet at night. I enjoy walking so I crossed the road and went down a short road to the Hammond Marina, with a large park and amazing views. Later at dinner, I sat outside my room to eat and the owner brought over a little table for me. No views from this motel, but the thoughtful decor and a clean comfortable room was appreciated. Fort Stevens state park is very close as is Astoria. I would stay here again. Also, the resident dog Luna happily greets you on arrival. Yes, this is a dog friendly place!

great room, ok neighbourhood

Great trip to beach. Room was decorated so cute. Even had robes, a few granola bars and chocolate. A nice big TV even face wash. The best thing of all was Luna the dog greeting us. Owners were very friendly as well.
