I never did get a chance to live on this property because when I showed up for reservations, there was no vacancies. I need someone to call me at 770-402-9936. I need my refund.

Parking is tiny and very cramped. Room was decent. Staff was great.

Our room was cute with a beachy atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again!

The dirtiest motel. Non-functional ac/heating unit. Sink falling off bathroom wall, shower fixture falling off. NO smoke detectors.

This motel is just off highway 41 in Nokomis. Nokomis Beach is just a short drive away. It is quaint as well as quiet.

It was mis represented

This is always our choice when visiting Nokomis, its an older hotel but has that friendly Old Florida feeling. Theres a great pool, friendly helpful staff. I have no compaints and Will be back again soon! I have stayed in 2 different rooms here and no problems with either one! If your looking for the Ritz go somewhere else. If your looking for comfortable and friendly, easy going this is your place! Its literally like 3 mins from the beach!

Upon arrival was told my reservation was over booked and I couldn't get the room I reserved. I had traveled with my own food to cook for to dietary needs. I had to throw it all away because I had no way to cook it and no room in my fridge because it froze all my food. I was put in a double queen bed. Dirty room, dirty appliances. Went to the dollar store to put our own bed sheets and blanket and pillow case on. Got Clorox wipes to wipe down the whole room. The facility was under going construction and it didn't look like anything you see online. Very disappointed. Will not be back

The Bedding was dirty. On the next day we had a cockroach in our shower.

The pictures made it seem more cute and quaint than the reality of the situation. It was full of long term renters who live in motels. There was a crack in the door large enough for bugs and lizards to come in, dirty stained pillows inside the cases, clumps of dog hairs and debris around the bed frame, I didn’t see bed bugs but I did kill 2 spiders, cigarette burns and stains all over the tv stand, brown splatters near the toilet, and the toilet paper holder was broke off the wall.. the list goes on. The property itself has real potential. The lady that showed us to our room was very nice. The people that live in the motel seem friendly enough and have a community of friends there. It was budget friendly and the ac worked very well and the bedding seemed clean. Unfortunately, we left early and didn’t stay the second night we booked because I had anxiety about bugs. Definitely put a damper on our little beach vacation.

This is a very outdated hotel. A lot needs to be fixed and updated so cleanliness is difficult to rate and hard to see. Ceiling fan was broken and all bulbs were missing. 2 Air conditioners in the room but only one worked, overtime but it was cool. However, the woman that checked me in was wonderful. It's just extremely old but the price reflects that. Checked for bedbugs and didn't see any.

Well I stayed there a year ago I thought it was a cute relaxing stay was clean then. However it was the same situation as before no one was in the office I reserved a room. I had to stand in the hot Sun as a staff had me standing unaware a guest was coming and making calls to the owner to see who I was, she finally lead me to my room not the office to take a photo of my ID, they don't seem to want to use the office that is advertised it's always closed no staff to help Them last stay it was decorated nice but this time just a shabby looking bed, what really made me want to give a zero is the bathroom, they had aluminum foil on the bathroom window as a curtain I could not believe it how uncaring and cheap can a business be you can get a curtain at the dollar store. Last the tile in the shower is so filthy look like you can get a staff infection. I dropped the soap picked it up was covered in human hair tons of it, no attempt to impress a guest and the room was not cheap, it also smelled of people like the last guest aroma was lingering in the air soon as you opened the door. I wish I didn't have to give this review but the hospitality industry has gone down the drain, what could be a beautiful property has turned into neglect and no care for paying guest comfort, the pool area is unkept and unwelcoming do do t think you go have a easy relax by the so called pool area.

It was an older ròom. Me, My husband and my granddaughter stayed there in the two bed hotel room. If it had just been me and my granddaughter, I would not have stayed here. The lighting outside sucked that i would not felt safe if my husband was not with us and the pool was dirty. I probably would not stay here again.

Our stay was AMAZING. My fiancé and I travel for a living on the road with our two pups. It’s hard to find somewhere when we are ready to stop (can be late) and that don’t charge a ton for pets who are both under 10lbs and crate trained. I call at 9:20pm to make sure they are pet friendly and don’t charge an arm and leg for each pet before paying on Expedia. David answers the phone and assures me they are pet friendly and it is free of charge for my little ones and tells me he needs to contact the lady on site for me. He does so and I make my booking. We get there and I have to call to get in my room which is fine, David answers and tells me he will call the lady who works on site. She comes out and walks me to my room which was 111… I paid for a single queen but they didn’t have any available so they gave me next closest which was a single king, it was amazing. It had 3 flaws in my opinion, dirty under bead so my pups kept finding things I didn’t want them to have and that I didn’t want to pick up.. most hotels aren’t the best at under bed cleaning though so we always watch for it. No biggie. And toilet had tape on it, didn’t bother me just noticed it. third, the bathroom window also didn’t open which was disappointing and steamy… BUT the lady, I think her name started with a C, was SUPER nice. It was almost 10pm when we arrived, she got me extra towels, extra soap, turned on the ac for us that worked perfectly. And so much more that I can’t fit in my review here

The property was a little dirty, they should do a better cleaning.

Booked through Travelocity but they had no record nor did they recognize the confirmation number. Gave me a room that was already occupied. Embarrassing! They gave me another room for the night. Filthy! Three lights broken out of ceiling fan. Air conditioner sucked! Didn't trust the place to leave my luggage during the day. Got back that evening and the room was rented. Had to find another motel late at night. Paid for three nights through Travelocity but only got one and had to pay for the next two at another motel. Clearly they were VERY careful with camera angles of posted photos. I'm not sure they don't rent rooms by the hour! The place doesn't deserve to be bulldozed. Burned would be a better option to get rid of the insects! Worst motel experience of my life, and I used to stay in some pretty poor motels during my working career.

On picture looks great but it wasn't

If I could give no stars I would! The room was not clean at all! The top sheet was upside down and they smelled used! We slept on top of the bedding! Thank God there were no bed bugs ( the only positive) A used dirty q-tip on the bathroom floor was a nice touch! The TV had an alert from the cable company, so we had no TV to watch! I would run far away from this place if you're considering staying here!!!!

Everything was dirty from the floors to the pool to the pool chairs. Even the bathroom towels were dirty as well as stained! It appeared that most rooms were being used as weekly rentals.

Pulled up and the cops had the place surrounded. They advised me and my family after 4 hours of travel that they highly recommend that we find somewhere else to stay, ended up driving 4 hours home because there was no where else to stay in the area. Don’t waste your time or money.

Easy checkin/out. Coded rooms. Very old property. Lots of dust on fans couldn’t turn on. Very minimal place. No expect much

Well there is no parking ,nobody at the office couldn't checking , waited some time then i went to a different hotel waisted my time and money

I called two days before our stay to ask details. Person told me to call back one day before and hung up on me. I called again one day before and was given the room number and key code. At check-in time the office was locked and no response, same at check out. Our room was "clean enough" Toilet had duct tape, wall had large area where something used to be, white spot. Bed needed a ladder to get in.
