I booked from Hotel.com for two nights with W philadelphian. I also paid extra for breakfast included. Unfortunately, when I checked in, I was told that I can only get credit for breakfast each morning. SO what is the meaning for me to pay extra for breakfast? Secondly, at the first night, I found that the switch of shower, which can switch water from spray to the handle, was broken. My daughter cannot use the handle to wash her hair. The front desk sent a technician to repair, but he did not have spare parts. Before we checked out, the manager promised that she will take care of the extra payment of breakfast. But she left on the second day. I cannot find someone who can take over my complain. I called the hotel again. The good news was that the director took the case over and he connected with me by email. In general, I am satisfied with the result.

We rented the mega suite for my 60th birthday and WOW!! It was amazing! The room was massive with many rooms including a lounge and a bar. Huge living area with amazing views all around. The bathroom was crazy! Huge tub, walk in car wash shower comfy robes! Amazing!

AWFUL parking. There is literally no where to pull in to valet. Got a ticket waiting 15 minutes for the valet to help us; so far the W is not addressing this.
Was overbilled for room bar that was never used.
Do not recommend.

Everything was great except the 365 days a year, just like a hot tub, outside pool. We booked the hotel in part because of the pool. We were told multiple times it was open. It was noit open "because of the weather". Everything else was great.

The staff really sucks, I could check in at 4pm, I came in at 9pm and they told me the room wasn't ready just the twin beds and they didn't know when it would be ready. I said it's not my problem, you need to fix it, and the front desk said it's not her problem, and the service at this hotel is really bad.

The property was great. My only complain is, I paid to upgrade my room and the room we stayed in did not look like the photos. So for that reason I was disappointed. Other than that it was a nice hotel.

The hotel style doesn't seems follow its positioning statement. The bathroom setting is not make sense to us, cleaning doesn't seems match its level.

The W Hotel is modern and the room provided great city views and high-quality toiletries.

Valet was full and we there were no parking options so we had to walk nearly 8 blocks in the rain to the closest garage that could take our car overnight.
The hotel was not concerned and offered no solution or accommodation for this massive inconvenience.

A the Hotel stinks really bad. The workers pretend they dont smell it but all the guest say it smells like poop immediately in the whole lobby including the bar. I attempted to order room service my burger came with hair on it. The advertisement says indoor pool nope outside. everything was horrible. then no breakfast on mondays and the restaurant that is advertised was closed. Worst stay i ever had

The hotel was amazing. The service was just ok. They refused to provide late check out. We had two rooms, I asked an hour extra for one of the rooms. Check out is at 11.00 which is very early. They would not provide late checkout until 12 which was very inconvenient. Then the valet was later than indicated. My daughter almost missed her bus back to college and we had to rush.

Unfortunately my stay at W Philadelphia was overshadowed my the unfriendliness of the front desk staff. One of the front desk staff were incredibly rude to both me and others on her staff. I couldn’t actually believe was i was witnessing. Very unprofessional and certainly lack a hospitality mentality. I’d definitely recommend further training.

Such a wonderful stay and the view from the room was amazing! I've worked in customer service for decades and the customer service we received was beyond amazing. The staff were kind, helpful, and just above and beyond in their work.
