Clean, modern, fantastic location, friend staff- highly recommend this hotel!

Centrally located. Beautiful rooms.

The room was clean, comfortable, attractively decorated, and well-lit--the desk was especially appreciated. Even though the winter has been unusually mild, the electric fireplace was welcome. Nicely furnished lobby, very friendly desk clerk. Good value. Relatively short (20 minutes) walk to Amtrak.

A lovely place to stay on a wonderful street in a quaint town in the Hudson Valley The staff is super friendly. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants.

Hotel was well located in middle of Warren street Extremely clean and comfortable When we checked in we were given handouts with restaurant and touring recommendations which were so helpful and someone was always available to make sure our stay was comfortable Highly recommend

A nice stay for a short trip. My husband and I had a good time in Hudson, just get away from New York City for the weekend.

Very cute place close to everything we needed. However, our bathroom door doesn’t slide shut completely and in a small room is a must. Also no coffee was stocked in our room and none available at front desk . Hotel has other bathrooms available in hallway and a decent fitness center .

We were wow’ed with modern/nautical rooms including vintage common areas/lobby inside a historic building. Highly recommend - quiet and relaxing in the middle of Hudson within walking distance of restaurants, cocktail bars, cafes and plenty of antique shops.

The hotel is in located on Warren St, a great location (the only street housing any type of community life, retail, restaurants, etc). The aesthetics of the hotel is quaint and charming, and the beds are comfortable. The power jet shower is awesome, however the shower head itself lacks water pressure. The carpets in the hallways need a deep cleaning as they have a horrible stale stench. I had to hold my breath every time I left and entered the hotel. The front desk staff is pleasant but not helpful or responsive to communications. The hotel is also not staffed from 7pm-9am, and the after hours phone line can take several hours to receive a response, if at all. My issue with this hotel is that is is operated like a glorified motel and lacks concern for client health safety or adequate accommodations, which contradicts what is outlined in its hotel description. We arrived just before 7pm, which I communicated with front desk several times to ensure that we would still be able to get into our room. Once we entered through the back entrance and entered our room I noticed my body was reacting as if I was having an allergic reaction to something. My husband noticed the paperwork that they provided at check in and stated that we were in the ONLY per friendly room. I have severe allergies to most animals and it was apparent that the room and hallways had not been properly cleaned. At that point is was 7:02pm and the receptionist had already left. Sometimes you just need a place to lay your head on the way to wherever. That was my case, but this property was so much better than just a hotel. A lot of attention to detail was obviously taken with this beautiful hotel.

The hotel was wonderful;location great ! One recommendation, could use some shelf space / small table in bathroom for toiletry kits.

Our stay at the Hudson Whaler completely exceeded our expectations. The property was super charming and in the best location on Warren St., surrounded by great restaurants and shops. Crystal at the front desk was so helpful, even upgraded us to a King room when we asked and sent us some personalized restaurant recos. We loved our room and wish we could have stayed longer!

Unless you get a suite in the front of the hotel, your window looks at a nearby wall, so the rooms are pretty dark. Nice shower and location.

This was an adorable hotel and clean, cozy, and in a super convenient location (Warren Street aka Hudson's Main Street). Highly recommend.

Very well located but the shower was broken and why do hotels put plaza doors on bathrooms!?

Very small boutique hotel w/only 8-10 or so rooms. Room condition was not checked by front desk after service and shower head fell off wall.
