We came for a family trip and were blown away by the friendliness of the staff and all the did to make our trip amazing. Came to KC to for our son's first zoo trip and hotel staff made it extra special with little zoo toys, a stuffed lion (which he absolutely loves), and all kinds of extra treats to make our stay magical.

Very nice hotel. Fitness area was clean. Room was a nice size and clean. Beds were comfortable and shower had nice water pressure.

Check in was easy, room was clean. The body wash in the shower was empty and also there was a used bar of soap. I was woken up to a random phone call that only rang once. Then room service came in even though the “do not disturb” was on the door. Breakfast was good tho.

After a long road trip this was a great night’s stay. Clean, comfy beds in a spacious room. The shower had hot water. Desk clerk was friendly and kind. He gave me a quiet room on the 5th floor as requested. The breakfast was not great and the only weak point. Danny’s burger shack up the road made a great quick take out dinner. I would stay here again.

Hotel was clean but initial room had plugged toilet upon checking in. Gave me a different upgraded room promptly. Breakfast was a bit lacking in my opinion. Had waffle maker and a hot item but still lacking as powdered eggs and mostly raw bacon.

I cancelled the trip, but never got a confirmation. All I saw was no reservation in my "hotels.com" profile, so I thought all was well until I got a message saying "how was your check in?". I called the hotel, and contacted Hotels.com. They said the refund was at the discretion of the hotel, the Fairfield, and they wouldn't refund it. I have no idea if I'm frustrated with The Fairfield or Hotels.com, or both. But I feel like I was robbed.

Clean (VERY clean!). Good parking. Safe. Location is convenient with restaurants within walking distance. Staff was professional.

We were acknowledged by staff as soon as we walked in. The staff continued to be very friendly and attentive during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable.

They really need to spend more on toilet paper. It was like using wood chips. That is the only bad thing to say about our stay though, everything else was great!

The room was comfortable and clean, but unfortunately we had a bad experience reporting noise to the front desk. We called the front desk after 10pm due to a dog constantly barking on the other side of the wall our headboard rested on. The front desk called back and said the people in the room had snuck in the dog without their knowledge and when they got back, they would move them to the 2nd floor where pet stays are booked and charge them the pet fee. The person really convinced me this would be fixed. After an hour of barking the noise stoped and we were able to sleep.
….I woke up to the dog barking. This review is due to the hotel telling me they would rectify this situation, and didn’t. We paid the cost for a nice hotel, but we had a 2 star experience.

Very clean. Very comfortable beds and blankets. Nice quality shampoo conditioner and body wash in big bottles in showers. Friendly front desk staff. Easy check in.
Didn't like....parking. Not a very big parking lot and some cars taking up 2 spots. But that isn't the hotels fault.
