This hotel is very clean and good value for the money. The only issue was the people above us were very noisy at 2 and 4 in the morning.

We stayed at the Moultonborough Inn for a few days in early December, when we were in the area photographing a wedding. This motel was an affordable option for us, and only 15 minutes from where the wedding was taking place. I can't say enough about our stay. The lobby was warm and welcoming. It was decorated nicely for the holiday, and soft Christmas music was playing. The owner Donna was sitting behind the desk, and she too was warm and welcoming. We chatted a bit about the property, and after a quick check-in, she mentioned that there would be tea/coffee, oatmeal cups and homemade pumpkin bread available in the morning. Perfect! Our room was on the 2nd floor (there is no elevator), and was immaculately clean, modern looking and comfortable. Donna really put a lot of thought into the room not only with decor, but with providing simple instructions (for ceiling fan operation, TV operation, etc). There was a microwave, refrigerator, table for two, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, etc. Anything you could need or want, was there! The hot water was plentiful. Noise in the inn was minimal. We would HIGHLY recommend this motel, and look forward to visiting again someday soon!

I enjoyed my all-too-brief stay at the Moultonborough Inn. I am familiar with the Lake Winnipesaukee region, having vacationed in the area when younger. Was visiting family in Laconia, so chose this Inn not too far away. Alas, my departure from home was delayed, so I only had one, rather than the two planned nights at this Inn.
During my time there, I just "chilled" and relaxed. Very comfy and cozy room, with a nice kitchenette. A grocery/convenience store is next door. Had "brunch" up the road at "The Village Kitchen" (I highly recommend). And what is a stay in Moultonborough without a stop at "The "Old Country Store?" Very cool. Many thanks to Doreen and Donna, and the housekeeping staff. Great hospitality, and tasty blueberry bread at departure! I hope to return in the future for a longer stay. Thank you!

Overall the property was clean and nice.
The bed and mattress should be improved a lot. The bed made creaking noises with every turn and twist. We could hear people walking upstairs.

Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful in our selection with dinner and she made sure our rooms were perfect before we completed registration.

Great experience! Labor Day weekend at the lake. The property is amazing. They even have a gas grill for use! Will definitely be back.

for a no frills hotel/motel, this place was very good. They have obviously put some $$ into this hotel recently as every room was freshly painted and new flooring. Pets are allowed on first floor units and it's conveniently located on a main road in the Lake Winnipesaukee area. Rooms are small but perfect for a short stay.

The only thing missing was a small table for a laptop or to be able to eat a meal prepared in the kitchenette. No other space available!

I had to ring the doorbell and bang in the office door to get someone. She said she was going to leave early and send me an email on how to get into my room. How would I know to check my email and with lousy Wi-Fi in the area I may not have had access to my email! Then with check out at 11am I had housekeeping knock and open my door at 9:55am and I had my alarm set for 10am. I work nights and am not an early riser. What if I had just gotten out of the shower and not dressed?? This is highly inappropriate! If check out is 11am, then start cleaning at 11am! To top it all off my bed sheets looked like someone had already slept in them but it was too late at night once discovered to contact anyone especially when the office staff was leaving early! Just a huge disappointment.

We were pleasantly surprised by the up to date modern feel of the room itself. The exterior could use updating though. The front desk staff was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the brook walk at castle in the clouds.

Hotel was very basic but room was clean and well equipped. They do not clean rooms daily if you are there for short 3 day stay like we had. For TV need your Netflix or Amazon account to watch anything other than Youtube. Location is convenient right off main road and next to gas station variety store.

Great price when close to Weir's Beach and the Bank of New Hampshire on a concert night. Other places hike the prices, Not here. Staff was pleasant and very helpful.

Entire rm was very clean. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. Towels were large and soft. Shower pressure was great. Easy after hours ck in fridge, hot plate, lots to make your stay comfortable

Very basic nothing fancy, it was clean and convenient close to Wiers Beach and other Whit Montains attractions and the price was right. It’s an older style motel that has had recent interior upgrades. Only two small double beds in our room, but they were comfortable. Kind of noisy, no insulation between rooms so you could hear your neighbors and people walking upstairs. They also rent out to “extended stay” renters, so apartment dwellers are there too. Close to Dunkn Donuts, right next door to gas station and a great local pub and breakfast place right down the street. So if you are looking for basic, good price and convenience this place is very good. If you are looking for luxury and amenities this is probably not for you. We never saw the staff as we checked in after 4:00 and the hotel emails you a key code for your room, which was fine. We would probably stay here again because anything else in the area was 3 times the price. We went in June for bike week, no availability in the area other than this hotel, but all we did was sleep & shower there so it was perfect for us.

Pay now didn’t work for this property. The staff charged the card on file even when asked to use a different method insisting it was already paid for. Other than that. Not too bad for what you pay

Staff was really responsive. It was a bit difficult to get there before the staff left, after a long day's driving.
One thing that surprised me, was that normally one backs in to park right in front of the unit. This is a bit different, you park across the way, so the front can be used better to sit and enjoy the evening, without cars being right in front of your face. It was basic and located well for our purposes.
