Nice big comfortable room and very comfy beds with a lovely big shower. Good access for exploring Escalante with tips from the lovely staff. Only downside were the walls were paper thin, so we could hear interesting noises from one side and music nonstop from the other. Not the hotels fault, i suspect we were unlucky, but definitely worth noting if you're easily disturbed.

The rooms are old and shabby. The bathrooms shabby and tiny. Beds are ok and sheets, while wrinkled, were clean as were the towels. Totally overpriced! There is no decent restaurant in town either. We had to get breakfast at Subway! The pizza at outfitters is out of this world good! The only light during our stay.
PS.: TV is not working either! Thankfully the internet did!

The room was adequate. There was no tv, of course only being there one night we were fine with that.
The room was clean, however very thin walls.
Very limited dining options in the area.
There was a coffee maker in the room but only plastic cups not suited for hot coffee.

Our stay was great! You can tell that they have spent time and money remodeling. The staff is very friendly and the beds were super comfortable. We had a unit that had a kitchen which was great for prepping our road meals.

I checked in for 1 night. Asked to stay 2 nights. They accommodated us. Key was a key code lock for front door. 1st day it worked. 2nd day it didn’t. Television didn’t work. Pretty thin walled place with sketchy bathroom construction. It worked but I could tell it was done very “ economically “.

liked the room, clean, comfortable, even though beds need to be replaced we had a good night sleep, cable service was out, tiny town nothing much to do but go on a hike, very few options where to go eat☹️☹️

The hotel was perfect for our needs.

It was fine for the price. A bit shabby, with multiple poorly done repairs on the shower. The beds, while comfy are full size, not queens. Otherwise quite clean, and overall just fine.

Clean room and easy check-in process.

We traveled up cottonwood road in southern Utah it was beautiful
We hiked two differentvplaces and we were exhausted when we got to Escalante! The motel and restaurant next door were wonderful

Everything was great. Except - We weren’t just fans of the mattress protectors which were kinda noisy and more like plasticky feel than cotton ones.

Outstanding ! We loved it ! Would stay here again. One night stay, Nov. 5.

Noisey heater. Bugs in room. Looked up bugs, they were true bugs. It was clean otherwise, but in the middle of no where with limited expensive dining options. I should have researched the area better before booking. Staff was friendly. Very quiet and isolated.

Easy access to Grand Staircase Escalante NM and conveniently located a short drive from the grocery store and lots of food options. Nicely renovated with a fully equipped kitchen. Friendly and welcoming staff. The keyless entry worked well

This little motel is a gem. I am always skeptical about "motels" but it was just as pictured. We only stayed one night as we were traveling to the parks...just perfect. Very clean and comfortable beds

We loved the Circle D motel! The staff were so pleasant and accommodating! Easy access to everything in Escalante and within walking distance of lots of dining options! The rooms were extremely comfortable - the owners thought of everything, including rags to wipe down your boots/bikes/equipment at the end of a long day! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location. Close to National Parks.

Circle D staff were patient and flexible with our late arrivals (2 nights), providing support through text. Circle D was integral to our fabulous trip to Utah! Rooms were affordable, warm, and comfortable

Very barebones motel at the base of the best part of Utah. If you spend zero time there except to sleep and get outdoors you won’t care. Otherwise, probably stay at Yonder or somewhere more Instagrammable.

2 nights in October as we visit national parks. We enjoyed the hotel and Escalante. Friendly town, much to explore. Clean, quiet, convenient. We would stay here again (I hope we can visit again, from New York). Hotel could use some minor repairs.

Kind of expensive for a budget motel

The property that we have historically used was unavailable and Circle D was a great alternative. Quiet, clean - and with a stunning view from the patio chairs outside our room. Simple accommodations, but newly painted and renovated. Would stay again

Friendly, fast check-in. Walkable to restaurants. Comfortable bed and nice shower.

The property was untidy outside-messy on the grounds. Made me question what we might find inside. But, our room was very clean, tidy and what we expected. Only problem is the heating unit which is VERY noisy. Got the chill off and turned it off. When we check out tomorrow will tell them about it-the place is full so really do not need to switch rooms. Overall pleased!

Glad it was dog friendly. There was a bunch of guys loud on the porch area till 11:30. I asked them to be quiet at 10:30 - but it didn’t help. There was a fire pit to go to but no one moved there. Walls were thin because we heard snoring through walls the next night.Loud snoring .Only dog friendly motel in town, so can’t complain too much. Just bring earplugs next time.

Nice motel. Clean, quiet. The beds were “ok” not great. Pillows weren’t very good. Easy, friendly check-in. I would stay here again.

We checked in around 6 pm and were told the restaurant wasn't open on Tuesdays. After checking online, the restaurant also isn't open until Wednesday afternoons. We got to our room and unpacked our things. We found no phone in the room for contacting management. There was also an issue with an extremely loose toilet seat while I don't care to share what happened when that did, it could have caused someone an injury. We found a pub next door where we went for dinner, which wasn't bad at all. Super nice people at the pub. We got back to our room and the later it got, the louder the people in the rooms next door got to the point of not being able to sleep. There was no information anywhere in the room on how to contact management if there were any issues. The shower had horrible spray as most of the shower head holes were clogged. When we left and went to check out, the door to the office was locked and a note on the door stating to call their phone number after hours, which it was already past their specified open hours. I called the number and no one answered so I left a message stating we were wanting to check out and which room we were in. About 10-15 minutes later, I got a call from management stating I didn't need to do anything else.

great and convenient to park near room. Check in was helpful. dining on site was fabulous.

The room was nice, clean, comfortable even though it was old. My only complaint would be is that all hotels or motels are over priced.
1.0
The room was terrible. It looked like it had been constructed by a child and furnished from the thrift store bargain box. The worst part was that the smoke alarm kept going off in the middle of the night. Why? Because they didn't do the simple step of replacing the batteries every 6 months. It would be extremely hard for a handicapped person to get to the toilet with their room layout. The lady who checked us in was nice and the restaurant next door was nice. But this is a hard pass. Next time, I'll try the Prospectors Inn which is a block away and at least looked better.

Office was closed much of the time. Room not prepared completely.

What a nice surprise! Loved this room! Really enjoyed the smart TV so I could log in to my streaming services. Nice desk area with lots of outlets and USB ports, walk-in shower with wall-mounted hair products dispenser, double sinks, convenient bench to set my bags on, comfortable bed, quiet area. This was the best room I stayed in on my entire road trip. I also enjoyed the restaurant/bar on the property. Can't wait to go back next season!

Room was clean, like keyless (keypad) entry, park in front of room. Restaurant and bar next door.
I would definitely stay again
