My stay was great,my room was nice only one discomfort which was a little noisy from the highway in front the hotel.Maybe it might help if the hotel invested in better sound proofing windows for the front that faces the highway.

Our room was facing the busy road, even though we asked for one facing away, they could not accommodate due to to being totally booked. There was an error on our thermostat and after turning the heat all the way up, it would not turn on. We called the front desk, they said they would take a look, but never came. After complaining upon checkout, they told us there was a lever under the heater that no one told us about. If we would have been told that, we could have fixed it ourselves instead of sleeping in a 64 degree room, when the outside temperatures were in the 30s

I only stayed one night for a long layover. The rate is cheap, room is comfy, free breakfast, and the staff during the day were very sweet. They even kept my luggage for a few hours after check out so I can explore Salem at no charge! It's about 19 min from BOS Logan airport. I would recommend this stay and will stay here again if I'm in town.

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip & it was a pretty terrible experience. The room was lacking in cleanliness (hair in the shower & nightstands needed to be wiped down). Both nights there were kids running through the hallways late at night and people loudly sitting in the main dining area after midnight. The first night I tried calling the front desk and no one answered, so I walked down. There was one person working (he said) and when I asked about the kids running around and all of the loud partying so late (at this point is was 12:30 a.m.) I was told that people in the hotel can do whatever they want. Okay, noted. I asked about a manager's contact info since he said he was the only person working and he didn't give it to me and just said "they will be here in the morning"--he was still the only person working when I left for the day. The second night was more of the exact same. It's clear this hotel doesn't care about the quality of sleep their guests get, or about having any sort of standards, and I will never stay again.

The room itself was standard Holiday Inn Express - comfortable, clean room, and all the facilities you need. The one BIG issue was that this hotel is on Route 1, and the soundproofing on the room was awful. Every large truck could be heard over the constant hum of the traffic. It led to quite a bad night’s sleep, which was a shame because everything else was good.

Staff was highly professional and timely in whatever duties they were performing. Day shift manager was available and always willing to stop and answer questions or just talk with his guests. Rooms facing the highway are not conducive to a good nights sleep. Walking into the facility area is covered in cigarette butts from guests not properly disposing them. They’re an eyesore and run a slipping hazard when mixed with water or snow.

The hotel was located in a congested area just outside of Boston. The entrance to the parking area was a bit difficult to find in the dark. Parking worked out well as we were parked close to a back entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and neat with good amenities. Nice breakfast was included. Some street noise, but not too bad. Would definitely stay there again.

The morning breakfast was relaxing and enjoyable. Lots of choices for eating and drinking and plenty of room to sit. The property is on a busy highway and our room had a lot of road noise all night long.

Upon arriving to our room, we found bed bugs in our bed. Staff was good about getting us into a new room however I was told by two separate people, that a manager would call me to make things right and several days went by with no call from management. I then reached out through Expedia to voice my frustration and it wasn’t until then that I got credited for one of my nights stays. I’m still extremely frustrated however because to this day, almost two months later, I still was never contacted by management!

Loved the front desk in spirit dressed up for Halloween and the lobby looked great as well! Also good location to stay if you plan to go to Salem like we did. Reasonable uber there and back to avoid the crazy traffic and lack of parking during those high season times in October.
