Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy walk to beach or State Street. Across the street from a large park. Front desk was very helpful with local recommendations for sightseeing and food. Very friendly staff all around. Free continental breakfast. Very safe and free parking. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A very nice place to stay. Had an ant issue in the shower and on the counter where the coffee pot was.

Staying here is not an experience I will repeat as by the time I left the hotel I just had a bad taste in my mouth for how nickle-and-dimed I felt.
The staff was great, the room was clean and well furnished, the bed was comfortable, the cookie at check in was memorable, and the view was beautiful
However, from the undisclosed parking fee ($15 per day) and the $4 water bottles; everywhere I turned I felt like there was something I could add on to my stay that should have just been included. My room was over $200 per night and I am not planning on coming back.
To the hotel owners: figure out how to get validation codes for the only available parking for your own hotel and comp a couple water bottles. It’s the little things that make people want to come back.

Quaint, nice bathtub. TV did not offer YouTube. Breakfast was pretty bad: weak coffee not organic, processed pastries, sugary cereal, surgery yogurt, gmo breakfast bars, etc.

A great stay, just a couple blocks away from the beach. It was clean, had a lovely shower, nice linens, and most important to me, no smell of any kind! We had a wonderful stay here and enjoyed the beach!

It was easy to check in. Room was nice and clean. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Convenient parking. Nice looking Mexican colonial style hotel. Continental breakfast available. Staff was friendly and helpful. Area is great and close to the beach. Happy to recommend

What's not to like about brand new hotel? Everything is good except:
The plumbing noise. I can hear the noise whenever my next door room takes shower.
The Continental breakfast can get a little upgrade. Everything else in the hotel has a premium feel except for the breakfast. It looks like something from holiday inn Express.

Great Location, quiet, comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. I left some items behind in the closet, and they were returned by mail within three days!

Friendly, great, intimate, setting and clean rooms and nice breakfast. Locations fabulous only rather would’ve been a family had been next-door to us on last night with Kit. There were plenty of open rooms they could’ve booked it but other than that it was fabulous.

Good location and easy parking. No clock in the room and we both really hate duvets as they are so heavy and irritate our arthritis. Otherwise, excellent room & overall facility.

La Playa was a nice find for us. Newly upgraded rooms, outdoor sitting area and parking included.
Convenient to the beach, Stevens Wharf, and easy walking to numerous restaurants and shopping.
La Playa will definitely be in the list for the next time we’re in SB.

The bed was comfy and everything was impeccably clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. Easy walking to the beach, Funk Zone and State Street. Perfect for a one-night stay in Santa Barbara.

Really pretty hotel and super clean. The staff was extremely helpful and so nice! We walked out the pier for dinner and the hotel isn't too far from the Music Academy of the West where our workshop was being held. Thank you Casey and Aaron for all your help!

Quaint, newly remodeled boutique hotel close to the beach, harbor, Stearns Wharf and State Street. Quiet, safe. Love the communal patio areas, and the rooms are neat and very clean. Staff is friendly. Enjoyed our stay, and will definitely stay there again.
