We were a strong beach-family until we set foot in this cozy home. We got so lucky to find this new happy place up in the mountains and sooo close to Chimney Rock! (literally 3 minutes!). Yes it was a last minute getaway. Our year-end little vacay. What an awesome way to top our year 2023! Indeed quaint cozy home with an awe inspiring sunrise by Chimney Rock ,with the light warming your morning mountain chill through its front porch and breakfast area. Nestled in the rocky mountainside, we live every detail. The natural stone steps, the winter foliage and the welcoming buddha greeting you with its happiest face! This classic cabin has been touched with hints of modern living, thanks to Derek and his cool ideas. Furnitures and fixtures have been updated to make you comfortable and content with your stay. All basic stuff are there waiting to be enjoyed. Even your furbaby got a treat ready to be shared! Love love the details! The open kitchen shelves, the coffee maker, the brita purifier for your water and a toaster! Of course the full size fridge and microwave; all tucked in the inviting kitchen! We took so many pictures not just of our trip but the details too of our cabin.Kids found it cool, they actually asked to come back soon! The bathroom was clean and well maintained. Fresh towels, hairdrier, nice well chosen toiletries.

Lovely, relaxing stay as we got out of the city for New Year’s Eve. Highlight was the short walk to the village for dinner and drinks.

Loved the little cabin. It was very cozy. Perfect for a getway. Cell reception not that great unless you are close to a window or outside on the porch but im not complaining cause i didnt want to be bothered. The host Derek was phenomenal. Thank you Derek for helping me get around. Definitely will stay there again!

we had to change our original booking because of illness. Derek was very gracious to accommodate our request and we booked for a later date.

We needed a last minute cabin for Thanksgiving because we were celebrating with family close by. We were extremely pleased. The location was perfect and walking distance from the town. Across the street is the river. They aren’t lying about the parking and stairs which was no issue for us but I would pay attention to that if someone in your group has mobility issues. Having both screened in porches was great for the pup. She loved looking out and sunbathing. No stove, oven or dishwasher but once again, that was not an issue for us. There was a two burner hot plate which would have been fine for us if we had needed it. We found the cabin to be very charming and we would book this again.

This cabin was super cute and cozy! Very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The stone steps up to the cabin could be an issue if you had very much to carry up with you, but that was explained in the listing and Derek emailed us prior to our stay to make sure we were aware of that, as well as making sure we knew there was only parking for one vehicle at the bottom of those steps. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Loved the property for an overnight stay with my Fiancée. Very convenient to Chimney Rock park and town area.

Super cozy and comfy and some beautiful views of the mountain and a short walk to Chimney rock village. Definitely a great getaway for a couple, me and my partner were very happy with everything. The host was very helpful when we contacted them about questions and last minute changes. 10/10 highly recommend.
