Great townhouse with 2 beds, 2 baths, 2 fireplaces and 2 levels. We enjoyed our stay at the townhouse and would definitely come back. Updated kitchen had everything you could possibly need. They even had the place decorated with Christmas trees.

I really cannot say enough positive about this place. It is like having your own personal spa. The layout of the master bedroom with the hot tub and fireplace is one of the most relaxing places I have been. The trails at Starved Rock and Mathieson are so beautiful - it just makes this tranquil and rejuvenating. There do not seem to be alot of dining options (though I can't say that I really ventured out all that much) but the Lodge at Starved Rock has wonderfful food and such a great atmosphere - and SO CLOSE! This unit has more privacy than some of the others in this community. The host is very accomodating and responsive. The place was immaculate with many small conveniences and in excellent repair as well as deorated for the holiday. The linens were wonderfully soft. Lots of warm snuggly blankets around. It smelled wonderful and clean. The beds were a touch soft for my taste - but the sofa and futon offered firmer options. Nice black out drapes. I have been to a few unitis here a few times - and will certainly return to this one. I simply cannot find other accomodations anywhere near me that compare to how wonderful this is especially for the cost. I do not travel with children but also see lots of kids activities around and am sure that having the kitchen in the unit (with a dishwasher) would make this a great family place.

I cannot say enough about how perfect this place was for my 4 sisters and I to get away for a long weekend nestled back in the woods. Nicely secluded and quiet. A clean VRBO unit is THE most important feature to me and you could tell it was the owner's focus as well. The living room area was perfect for hanging out and visiting with the fireplace being a nice bonus. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfy. I didn't pick it up in the pictures, but was thrilled to find there was a fireplace also in the master bedroom. Try to plan on getting to the unit before dark as it is a little difficult to find due to the layout of the villas and signage that could be improved. We loved out time together at this villa and we will be back!!

I rented this cabin for my nephews wedding. My family and I were so pleased with our stay. The cabin was very updated and decorated very cutely, it was also very clean and well equipped with all kitchen and bathroom essentials. Aneta even left us Kureig coffee pods and a basket of treats for our stay. It was well stocked with games which my son in law took the opportunity to teach the game of chess to my son’s friend. We did a short visit to Starved Rock which is only a 2 min drive from the cabin. Would love to come back and rent this cabin again when we have more time to do more trails at Starved Rock and visit the surrounding towns only minutes away. Thank you so much Aneta for being such a great host.

Faboulous home with lots of extras. Spacious and very clean. Close to hiking trails. We really enjoyed our stay.

We traveled for a short getaway to celebrate our son's birthday and it was a perfect home to accommodate 8 of us (4 adults, 4 children) Upon arrival the home was noticeably clean and was stocked with everything we needed. Our kids had a blast in the jacuzzi during the rainy evenings and during the day we spent our time at the beautiful state parks nearby. Decorated beautifully (loved the fall touches) & host was responsive and made it appoint to check-in during our stay. My only regret is not staying another night or two!

The villa was very clean, very comfortable and very stylishly decorated. It was also well stocked with anything you might need. We loved the jacuzzi. The location is very convenient for visiting the Starved Rock area. Communication with the owner was very easy. Just be aware that you have to take your shoes off at the front door, but there is a convenient mud room area for that which worked out well.

We just loved our stay. Everything was just perfect, for our wine weekend get away. And we have all decided that we will be staying at the same house next year! And we cannot wait!

What a beautiful, clean and cozy home! When we walked in I felt like I was in my own house. Aneta’s attention to decorative details, and craftsmanship of the remodel are amazing. This place is beautiful! I had a few other family members staying in the same area. Their rentals were a bit more woodsy in decor. Which is appropriate for the area, but they were all very jealous of the up to date and fresh take on this rental! The whole process was very stress-free. The owner communicated with me every step of the way and made my son’s wedding weekend so much less stressful. Thank you and we will definitely be back!!

My son was amazed with the property as soon as we entered. It was comfortable and quiet with all the attention to details. This was our vacation to hike through Starved Rock State Park and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere in the area. It started on a high note with the accommodations. We enjoyed staying there as much as we did getting through our agenda for the park. It was close to so many great places to eat and explore. Thanks to Aneta for maintaining a wonderful location.

The unit was beautifully decorated and in pristine condition. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, with nothing overlooked. It’s clear the owner took great care to get all of the details right. Very close to Starved Rock State Park.

Grew up in the area, came back to IL to meet newest grand baby and meet up with family from out of state and locals. Great time, enough room to visit and sleep comfortably!! Will book this again!!

My husband, son and I stayed at the condo for a long weekend to attend a family reunion. The condo was exactly like the pics and has recently been remodeled. It is beautiful! Well stocked with all the amenities you may need. My brothers family also stayed at a condo at Grand Bear Resort and it was nothing like this condo….old, run down. The owner was very responsive to any inquiries I had. I would definitely recommend staying here if you plan to be in the Starved Rock area.

This property surpassed our expectations. It was evident that Aneta puts her heart and soul into maintaining this property. Not only was it spotless, she thought of everything a family could possibly need and was sure to have it readily available. We enjoyed using her indoor and outdoor games, which was an unexpected treat. She even had a welcome basket for us. High quality home furnishings, appliances, and supplies. This property was immaculate and beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice! Very spacious and everything was provided for...Just come with your luggage and food! Location is perfect.. private, with views of the trees and greenery not the parking lot, and it's a quick walk to Bear Island. We are definitely planning to come and stay here again!

This property is absolutely amazing! It's clean, comfortable, spacious, and every long bit of cozy! Great little restaurants nearby and within walking distance to St. Louis Canyon entrance. Easy drive to the parks! Aneka was a great host and we would definitely stay here again!

I loved everything about my stay. I traveled alone and my intent was to have a vacation of rest, relaxation, reflection…and A LOT of hiking. Although the unit is attached to three other units, there was no one else staying in the other three units in the building during the four nights/five days I was there (I stayed Monday-Friday). There were many, many, villas in this complex and I felt this might be the most secluded one of all, yet just a short walk to the lodge (and the cafe inside where I twice ventured to have an ice cream cone) and outdoor bar. And the villa is just minutes away from Starved Rock State Park and Matthiessen State Park…and I spent A LOT of quality time at both parks on multiple days. Downtown Utica was a cute little area to visit on my rest day (and a slightly rainy day). Currently, they have a small area closed to traffic so you can dine outdoors at the various restaurants and there are various shops as well. Near downtown on Clark Street there is a jerky store (that also sells many other items) and Roxie’s Sweet Confections, which sells a variety of tasty treats. In addition to the location, the villa is just amazing. It is absolutely gorgeous and I’m so happy I decided on this specific one (there were several available to rent on VRBO at the time of my booking). If I were ever to return to the area, I would only consider staying at this one. Thank so you much for an amazing stay and helping make this introvert’s dream vacation happen!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The condo was perfect… very clean, well stocked, quiet, snacks upon arrival and a great location to the parks. We look forward to a return visit!

I have stayed at many similar villas in this area. The place here is nicely remodeled compared to the other ones. I travel up to see starved rock and enjoy that this area is nearby. The only issues I had was the hot water and shower pressure. One of the two shower had barely any pressure so we had to use the other one and that took up time for our trip. When going to use the hot tub on the last day to relax from the trip there wasn’t enough hot water to fill it. Also the tub did look clean but then when it started debris and soap came from the jets and was in the tub but there wasn’t enough time to have anything done about it. Overall a nice stay but the other villas I didn’t have any issues with this.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect. There were lots of nearby attractions. The property was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. Everything we needed to be comfortable away from home was at our fingertips. 5 star review all around. Would stay here again and definitely recommend it!
