Lovely home and one block of the most beautiful turquoise beach.

Having vacationed on other islands in years past, we decided to visit Oahu without the congestion of Honolulu and Waikiki, while still maintaining a beautiful beachfront locale. Our Kailua Beach Lofty Bungalow did not disappoint! Vicki and her husband were wonderful hosts, and provided my wife and I a beautifully designed bungalow, complete with a private patio, an outdoor shower (which we used exclusively), in an intimate setting canopied under a 300 year old Banyan Tree! The accommodations included everything you need for a relaxing beachside vacation, from a well stocked and highly functional kitchen, perfect for eating meals to all of the accessories needed for a day at the beach (chairs, towels, umbrella, boogie boards, etc.) The property's location is walking distance to town, and literally steps from beautiful Kailua beach. Take advantage of the easy day trips to all the wonderful spots Oahu has to offer, and look forward to your daily returns back to your cozy bungalow at the end of the day. Book your next trip here, you will not be disappointed!

This property was great to say the least! Location is wonderful, just steps away from the beautiful sands and turquoise water. The beach was also very intimate, not filled with tons of people. Vicki and her husband are wonderful hosts! Lots of great recommendations and whenever we needed something they were on it in an instant. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want more of a relaxing true island experience over the touristy filled areas. Definitely will stay here again when we come back!

Our quaint bungalow just a very short walk to this beautiful Hawaiian beach was absolutely perfect. Impeccably clean & tastefully decorated, we couldn’t have asked for more! The bungalow had all the conveniences we would have hoped for and more. We’ll be back and would recommend it to anyone.

The property is a great location! It had all the comforts needed. Bed is extremely comfortable! Nice outdoor space to eat and relax. Very short walk to beach! Can’t hear nose inside house. Manager has great communication.

The stay and location was 100% a dream!!!! It was less than a minute walk to the beach which was mostly secluded! The place was just perfect enough for a couples getaway. The cleanest stay I have ever done, not a sight of cobwebs or dust in sight! The rental had everything you could think of up to beach chairs, shade umbrella, and even body surf boards! We did the last weekend of our stay in Waikiki but regretted it as this location was equivalent in price and was a better choice. Will be returning again and booking in the future!!! The rental is within walking distance to town which had a variety of local restaurants, coffee shops, and farmers market location which was perfect for trying local cuisines and delicacies! This stay made this trip a trip of a life time and extremely happy!!!

Just steps to a soft, sandy beach with beautiful blue water. The condo was clean and well appointed. The locks on both the lanai and condo made us feel completely safe. Would highly recommend!

This property location is simply the best. Literally just steps from the best beach on the island, Kailua! The bungalow is perfect for two, and has everything you need! On top of that, it is beautiful! Vicki is an incredible host, quickly responding to questions and local suggestions on where to eat. 10/10! Will definitely come back! Mahalo, Vicki!

As our host promised, the Lofty Bungalow is an amazing place to stay! A beautifully designed modern space with an open beam ceiling, the space lives larger than its footprint, especially with the private outdoor dining patio with outdoor hot shower, all under a majestic banyan tree. Thoughtful design makes the bungalow a very private place to stay, and since it’s just steps to the beach, you don’t need to cross any roads to get there. We used the provided beach chairs and towels everyday! The kitchen, while petite in size, was extremely well outfitted, providing everything we could possibly have needed to cook many meals together. The Kailua Farmers market had great fresh produce as did the health food store, Whole Foods and several other grocery stores, all within walking distance, that is if you don't mind carrying back a bag of groceries!
Our delightful host, Vicki, answered all our questions (before and during our stay ) promptly and with great aloha. She also provided us with an extensive list of places to eat, activities to consider and information about Kailua town; we only wish we had several more weeks to try them out!
We both hope to return soon again. Mahalo for hosting us!

We loved our stay! The interior was well designed and thoroughly outfitted with everything you need. The lanai was our haven! With an outdoor shower and table with chairs for breakfast, snacks, etc. The gem of the property was a majestic Banyan tree we enjoyed from our lanai. Walks on the beach just about 200 feet way - the most beautiful Kailua and Lanakai beaches! The owner lives on site and is very helpful and supportive. Highly recommend this place!

This home is curated well with everything you need - it is a rare 2 bedroom unit which I did not need but a family would love!
The beutifal vintage artwork includes Peggy Hopper and many other wonderful photos and scenes and history of Hawaii.
Conveniently on the second floor just off the steps & nearest to the walkway out to your amazing beach… once there it is very hard to leave to go to any other beach - the Condo unit is so secure and the management keeps it safe and clean and no party people will be tolerated (fun people that laugh a lot are particularly welcome!)
There is a lovely social aspect to this property with folks gathering at the Picnic tables to watch and photographer the most amazing sunset every evening -
Snorkeling is amazing (I always bring my goggles and short Kicks fins so I have what I need there.
There a two nice boogie boards for your use also.
On the way there - I always stop at Costco to purchase good chairs and great umbrella (plus cheapest gas on island) Kua Uka Costco (you can return them!! Costco takes everything back - trust me I used to work for Costco)
The bed in the front room is super comfy to watch TV or hang - great patio furniture- two table lamps & chairs.
Haleiwa has great food - stop at Malama Supermarket for wine - food / supplies on your way…
Laundry facilities on-site but grab you some quarters as that’s all you need there -
