I had booked a four bedroom. The manager tried to pass off a three bedrooms house to us. I refused showing her my booking with a reservation for four bedrooms. She finally relented and showed us a four bedrooms house. We accepted, however she asked for an additional 900K đồng for our 3 days stay. She had claimed the app got it wrong on the price and that she would incurred a financial loss. I had my doubts and by all rights I could've refused but I did gave her the additional 900K đồng. I didn't appreciate the bait and switch. Probably won't use booking.com anymore for rentals in Vietnam. I had been happily using AirBnB for multiple rentals but had encountered a glitch in the app that wouldn't take my payments.
