The staff was excellent. The facility was clean. They fixed me a great breakfast for a small amount of money and made sure I got to the airport on time.

Barbara was super kind ,gentle and helpfull with everything. For sure ill come back!

besides needing to check in after 16:00 , they were not able to secure my luggage , so I could go around the city until the time for check in or let me use the common area of the hostel, I came back at 4:35 pm and had to wait for the guy who manages the hostel because he was picking up other guests at the airport , I was able to go over the check in process and receive the room at 6 pm , I was tired and being all day long with my luggage with me , they charged me 4 dollars more the price booking showed me I was going to be pay and were not able to explain what was this extra 4 dollars for , they take a 100 dollars deposit in case any damage. Hostel has nice common area by the pool but rooms , bed , kitchen and inside of property has old fashioned furniture without maintenance, air conditioning was available only from 7 pm to 7 am , and otherwise there was going to be a charge for 50 dollars. I never felt so insecure in hostel before. The Worst experience I ever lived in a hostel , I was mad at the guy because After he brought his guests from the airport , he was assisting them before me that I was waiting since 9 am that I arrived at the facility and then at 4:35 pm I had to wait for him to let me in the room cause he was somewhere else. another thing is when I asked what was the 4 extra dollars for , he said , if you don’t want to sign in the payment voucher , it’s ok , you can somewhere else , After I’ve had all day long waiting and they have already charge my card and no cancellation policy . THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

The outside part of property looks really nice.

The dorms do not accommodate solo- female travelers. I am a seasoned solo female traveler. I’ve been staying in hostels during most of my traveled. However, I haven’t experienced any case of discrimination against in none of it whatsoever. I feel like I was taking advantage of at this property due to the fact that I was checking in at night and I was tired of a long travel journey. At first, I was ok about staying in the mixed dorm which was mainly used by all male travelers. However, after I came back from having a meal, I didn’t feel a good vibe of the place and the host in general. The beds were all crammed together and the host have so many requirements that feels like she’s doing you a favor to stay in her place. I also didn’t appreciate the fact that when I asked her to accommodate me in another room because I wasn’t feeling comfortable to stay in the dorm, she conditioning me that in order to accommodate me in another room I have to help her clean the room which at that time of the day I felt like I didn’t have another choice to help her. This is by chance my worst experience staying in a hottie hostel like this one. Be aware solo- female travelers, especially Colombians or women of colors. I’m so disappointed with booking. com for offering places like this where human decency does not exist. What a pity!
