Beautiful place to stay with family & friends. Walking distance to downtown Waynesville to all the restaurants & stores. You won’t regret renting this home.

We loved this place! Everything was exactly as described. The first night we had a fire and enjoyed the hot tub. Beds were very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this home again!

Rented this beautiful home with a friend for a long weekend. It is beautifully decorated and the perfect layout of two bedrooms, two baths with living room and kitchen in the middle. The jacuzzi was a bonus after a long day of shopping. The house is one block off of Main Street so park your car in the driveway and walk everywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, beds are comfortable, love the outside seating and front porch. We would have liked a regular coffee pot/maker rather than the pod, simply for the ease pf making multiple cups of coffee at the same time. Beautiful location, and just a block from main street.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The facility was well thought out and provisioned well. We have a couple of extra comments that we hope will be constructive. When someone stays a month the hot tub should be serviced at the two week part. Also grass should have been cut more often. The lawn man’s mower either had dull blades or he ran it too fast. It did not cut well.

This is probably the best VRBO we have utilized. It is new and clean and in a great location for exploring downtown. It is perfect for two couples, but not much room for more than 4 people to gather. We used the front porch every morning to sit and drink coffee and used the barbeque to fix dinner one night. We hope to plan a return visit next year.

The Steps Away cottage was absolutely amazing. The home itself was comfortable and well equipped. Appliances are new and great to use. We loved sitting on the front porch at sunset for a drink. And what can I say about the location except that walking to Orchard Coffee in the morning and local restaurants at night is a great experience. Highly recommended and we will be back!

Property is so cute!! Very well done- everything that we could have needed was provided plus some. LOOOVVEEE the gold bathroom vanity mirror (on the search for one). Only problem was that we did not have time to stay longer.

Brand new modern in-town cottage with hot tub. My husband and I walked almost everywhere from this well equipped beauty. A great way to visit this really cute mountain town. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to the area!

I cannot wait to visit this location again! We come to Waynesville at least once a year and have been looking for a consistent location. Well we found it!! This place has EVERYTHING I need and more. On top of that it’s the definition of cute! The esthetic is on pointe. Literally booking my next asap!

This place is great! It is located in Waynesville, so there is some noise, which is to be expected. You can walk to restaurants, breweries and tons of shopping places. There is a great meat market very close. This makes it easy to get a great steak for the grill!

We stayed here with our 9-year old son on a trip to Cataloochee for skiing and tubing. This home accommodated our family perfectly!
Overall, the home is beautifully decorated and the owners paid a lot of attention to the details. The bedrooms are separated on opposite sides of the house, giving everyone some privacy. The beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need, and it's super clean. The hot tub, fire pit, and lovely front porch were all a bonus.
The location can't be beat. You're in walking distance to downtown Waynesville and a quick drive to the mountain. We also had a rainy day and it was an easy drive over to Asheville for the afternoon.
Throughout, the hosts were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This property was so clean and well decorated. I though we were the first people in there to say how clean it was. Everything was well situated and we had all that we needed down to a coffee/drink frother in the drawer. We had planned on staying 2 nights but extended our stay. We ended up spending 1 day snowboarding, and other checking out Asheville and then returning back to the quaint town of waynesville, where we will come back to. Loved the sweet onion, frog level brewery and the modern deer, all recommended by the host.
Thank you for the lovely stay, ( love being in a week decorated space, it’s good for the soul) great recommendations and thoughtful additions.

Stayed in this adorable rental for a Mother-Daughter getaway…..loved the proximity to downtown Waynesville. The home appears to be new….it’s immaculate and cozy. The owners have put a lot of thought into providing everything someone on vacation in Waynesville would want…..hot tub, fire pit, bistro lights, lots of outdoor seating, comfy warm beds and pillows, and a laundry room complete with brand new washer dryer. The bedrooms are separated by the family room and kitchen which is also a nice feature. We will definitely stay here again!!

Great place to stay. My wife and I planned a ski trip to Cataloochee and this was the perfect location. Just a short walk/drive to downtown Waynesville and about 30 minutes from Cataloochee ski resort. I highly recommend this place. The host was super nice and we will be back to check out spring/ summer activities.

Everything about this property is perfect. The way the house is laid out makes it seem so much larger than it is. The hot tub and smokeless fire pit were great additions.

Since we used to live in Waynesville (and still love it!), we knew exactly where this was located. Just what we wanted - able to walk to Main Street but still have privacy of house and yard. The pictures are spot on. The house is adorable, clean, comfortable AND just down the street from all you could want in small town amenities. Dining, brew pubs, shopping all with the beauty of surrounding mountains. Easy to pop onto the Blue Ridge Parkway or visit Asheville. The special bonus was being able to bring our dog with us. The owners have thought of everything - even our dog had his own dishes! Great kitchen. While a tad too warm and rainy to enjoy the firepit, the patio and porch afforded a quiet place to plan our day. This is an ideal place for two couples, couple with children (they even have a playpen and toys!) or a girls (or guys) visit. We will be back!

Loved our stay. The layout of the cottage, amenities, the design choices and the quality of home were wonderful. The location is perfect and truly just steps from downtown. Little touches were included that made it cozy and welcoming. Will stay here again when we come to town!

Exceeded expectations! This home was comfortable and included everything to help you feel at home (grill, candles, nice bed and pillows, comfortable furniture, etc…)! The location to downtown was also perfect.
