We loved our stay! The house was even more beautiful that the pictures show. Perfectly clean and a really good location in relation to downtown Asheville.

Great house in a lovely spot - our only disappointment was that we didn't have more time to enjoy it on this quick getaway!

House was clean, wish there were rugs because floors are very noisy, we had infants so parents up at all hours of the night woke up the other housemates from squeaky floors. Trails on the property and the farm were a blast for the kids. Would be fun if the kids could feed the goats /chickens more, the one day they did that they were in HEAVEN! House initially didn't have sufficient garbage bags or paper products but housekeeping did drop off missing items. Overall, a nice place for a family trip!

We loved our stay here! Our family and in laws were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect. So quiet and a nice distance from town. We will definitely come back!

John's rental is a beautiful getaway nestled up in the woods about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. We came for a bachelor party and our experience could not have been more pleasant. While everything was exactly as advertised, the home was even prettier than in the photos! John and Michelle were wonderful hosts - so accommodating in fact that when our Wi-Fi was out for maintenance the first night, John dropped off a restaurant gift card with a hand written note to apologize (even though the outage was not his fault). Thank you so much!! I would recommend your home to anyone!

This rental lived up to all of the rave reviews. Very large open kitchen, family room, dining made it perfect for our family. The bedrooms and bathrooms were in pristine condition. All in all, I would highly recommend this property.

The pictures don’t do justice to the beautiful property, it’s larger in person. It’s a beautiful home that was perfectly placed just outside of downtown Asheville with a nice view. Fully stocked kitchen with awesome amenities with a folder filled with great info to help you plan your day. I got so many complaints from my friends saying that I did a good job with picking a place to stay. Overall, a great place and highly recommended

This place is truly a gem! Our family (ranging from grandparents to littles) greatly enjoyed this property for a full week. It may have been one of our favorite rentals we’ve ever rented. It was better than advertised or what the pictures show and very clean. It was perfect for little kids (ages 5 & 3) that enjoy exploring. There are 5 hiking trails on site that range from easy (green) to difficult (red). Down by the stream is a small farm and the Owner was gracious to give us fresh eggs for the week! It was a wonderful experience. We walked the trails every single day (although experienced hikers would eventually bore, but ideal for young explorers) Very remote, but close to the City. Difficult to navigate so pay attention to the directions! There is a steep drive that could be problematic in the winter. No bear sightings but plenty of warnings. Otherwise enjoy! Little slice of paradise that is still close to the action. Seems like a great spot any time of the year, although we would’ve gotten most use out of all of the amenities (hot tub and ping pong) during the warmer months.

The house was very clean and perfect for our group of 8 adults. The cabin is only ~15-20 minutes away from Asheville. The only issue is that there is no service from the cabin and it is difficult to get an uber/taxi to the house. Recommend trying to coordinate ahead of time and leave very clear instructions to the drivers on how to get to the house. We even tried meeting them at the street (~5 minute walk from house) and they had trouble finding us.

My friends and family had a quick little getaway and this house was perfect! Tons of room to spread out, lots of ‘hang out’ areas, and the kitchen had just about everything you needed to cook a full meal. Location was a little tricky, but once we figured it out, it wasn’t difficult at all. Ubers/Lyfts were very spotty so I would recommend planning to drive into town. Would love to come back in the fall or winter and stay longer than just the weekend! We all agreed the pictures didn’t really do the house justice as it’s absolutely gorgeous in person! We’ll definitely be back!

We simply love this place. It is completely stocked, like don’t worry about coffee, towels or salt!!! It’s immaculately clean, beds are amazing and it has all the amenities of home.

This property was amazing - had everything we needed as a group of girls having a mountain weekend. We explored the trails, enjoyed the hot tub and woods surrounding the Lodge, while still being able to easily drive to downtown Asheville. The hosts were also great, giving us clear instructions on how to get there, etc. Would highly recommend!

This property was great! It was clean and well kept. The kitchen was well stocked and even had some seasonings. We would definitely want to stay here again.
