The flat was not as advertised and the photos were not what we were greeted with. The bathroom was a completely different photo! The whole flat needed a thorough clean. The oven had grease all over the bottom so the fire alarm kept going off and on arrival I had to clean burnt cheese from the grill pan so it had definitely not been cleaned. There was dust everywhere and on wiping my finger across the shelf in the bedroom where you are supposed to put clothes and also along the television that did not work was a thick layer on my finger. It was disgusting and I don’t know where on earth a 9.1 came from. The bedroom window had been broken and had to be fixed before we arrived but there were still remains of glass on the floor and blood too which makes me wonder if the flat had been broken into. I always look for a high standard of cleanliness when booking and seeing a 9.1 thought I was going into beautifully clean accommodation. I would give this a 4 on a good day and didn’t even want to use the towels to shower …. I’d rather wait until I get home. Thankfully it was only one night I was staying and I definitely will not be returning. This flat is in desperate need of a deep clean together with updated photos to show the correct images as in reality it is not a true description.

This was a really nice apartment. Clean and comfortable and like a home from home. It was thoughtful that there was milk in the fridge ready for tea and coffee.

I hadn't been sure about parking on a single yellow line but the next day there were plenty of cars there.

Great for alton towers, only 30 mins away, accommodation was well equipped including towels, bedding, toiletries, tea, coffee etc & most importantly chocolate on pillows

ideal for workers and host was very accomodating

the back bedroom backed on to the rear of the property which is where the smokers would go out to smoke, so that room did smell of smoke, but apart from that it was really good

The flat was lovely, lots of room, very clean and the host thought of everything down the little details such as chocolate on the towels and supplies in to make a cup of tea :)

I would have gave this property a 10 out of 10 but unfortunately the smell of cigarettes was very strong and non of us are smokers, it is clear previous guests/owners were heavy smokers and we all ended up smelling of it.

Friendly host made it very welcoming and it was easy to check in after one of Alton Towers Fright nights, Would deffo recommend 👌
