Convenient location outside the old town. Friendly owner who helped us find some food for dinner in the close vicinity. A good and hearty breakfast was served in the inner courtyard on round tables with the other guests. Despite all the strange decor, it was fine. You get what you pay for.
The rooms faced the "inner courtyard" (= inner house) and had no windows to the outside to get fresh air. Windows and doors were not soundproof and everyone could see into the other guest's rooms. Seems to be built for an extended family, but not for individual travelers. The (private) bathroom was separate, across this courtyard. Overall, the hotel could use an update with solid and tasteful craftsmanship, and less cheap bling bling. Also definitely more privacy.

Das Riad sticht aus der Masse hervor. Der Wirt ist mit Leib und Seele dabei. Die Parkmöglichkeit in der zukünftigen Küche, eher außergewöhnlich. Das Riad kann gut mit dem Fahrzeug angefahren werden. Das Frühstück, klein aber fein.
Leider kein warmes Wasser.

Very friendly personel, very beautiful Riad! comfortable and clean rooms. 10 min walk to centre of Meknes. Great place to stay for 1 of 2 days

I like everything! Especially staff - so friendly and kind! Riad was the most beautiful that I ever seen in Morocco (I’ve been in Marrakech, Essaouira, Agadir, Casablanca, Rabat)! It was very nice and tidy. Location is also very good - everything at the place: Medina, Carrefour supermarket.

Raschid was very welcoming and helpful with a good sense of humor. The room was very nice with our own private bathroom a few steps down the hall. breakfast was great shared with fellow travelers.
We enjoyed everything about it. Mattress was very firm but we like firm mattresses.

Extravagantly decorated riad only 10 minutes stroll to the Mausoleum. Easy to park out the front. Rashid is a lovely host.
