The venetian restaurant was very good

The whole vacation represented very poor value for money. With the exception of the venetian restaurant the service provided by the staff ranged from unacceptable to absolutely appalling. Particularly in the self service buffet the food was all terrible. The room was very small and very tired.

Great location, beach is beautiful.

Resort Felt tired needing a lick of paint or good clean in places - particularly around water park. Dirty sun beds yet sandals further up the beach had soft bmats for sun beds which we didn’t. Customer service not great. We had a small problem with room and it took 3 days and 4 requests to get it resolved. Also (minor point) the booking advising premium drinks provided in the in-room bar. With 2 small children we have to get them to bed early and it’s nice to relax with a drink. The hotel refused to honour this and only provided very cheap local drinks. We had to go to main bar to get decent drinks. Food not that great and it became a running joke if we would get drink or food we ordered as at least 50% of the time it was not what we ordered. It’s not a cheap place to stay and didn’t feel value for money. We stayed at beaches Turks and Caicos last year - if you want our advice, pay the extra and go there! Sadly we will not return to beaches Negril nor recommend it to anyone we know.
