Amazing landscape

Building a bit older but renovated and clean

Staff were very kind, breakfast was delicious

Small room, not enough electric outlets for 3 photographers

After we made the booking communication with hosts were excellent. We did not read the details carefully (clearly stated on booking.com - so it was our fault) but in winter you can hardly reach on foot from the train station, but we were offered a free transfer (appr 10 min by car). Breakfast and dinner was good. Location is amazing, especially in winter, if this type of environment you are looking for (at Bernina Pass, surrounded by beautiful high mountains, deep snow). In the morning it was extremely cold but at around 09:00 the sun was shining and I will never forget the view and the feeling. Great locations nearby (Morteratch Glacier for example one of the best excursion in my life).

Rooms are simple, they look better on the pictures.

View is stunning. Rooms are very comfy.

Everything was great. We will be back and for a much longer stay. Great rooms, food fantastic and easy access from the postal bus drops you at the hotel Easy walk to the rail station

We liked everything

The location is great. I got some great photos overnight from my hotel room down to the lake. If you are travelling by train and have luggage, consider getting off at Bernina Diavolezza and getting the bus. I believe this is the recommendation for the winter when the path down to the station can be impassable due to snow, but I would recommend it anyway. I'm already planning to go back in the winter. The food is good and tasty.
