The property is modern with beautiful views, the pool is not part of the property you will have to pay to use it . It is very close to the beach and is in a perfect location for restaurants and bars. Only a 10 minute walk to the main square. The staff were amazing , Dimitiri the owner was very helpful and when asked supplied lots of suggestions for where to go and what to do in Crete. Would recommend staying here.

Cleanliness, no mosquito netting on the window, bad wifi

Very good location. Close to the beach and many restaurants. We were very pleased with the nearest beach bar YAMAS, which had very good food and also a swimming pool. Our apartment is also close to shops and LIDL. Dimitri was very helpful during our stay. The apartment was cleaned daily. everything was great.

Exceptionally clean, excellent position by the sea , really comfortable beds , excellent balcony , superb air conditioning , nice and quiet , good fridge freezer , modern shower room , 2 swimming pools within 50 metres , excellent customer service , Dimitri is a fantastic host , and very friendly , he couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel really welcome , and special , you will want for nothing staying here , and Sonio restaurant is the best in Platanias and only 20 metres away Thank you Miramare, we will be back Brad and Maria

Some doors need to be repaired

Excellent Location, Comfortable, Clean, Great Customer Service. Can't say enough good things about Dimitri & his Mother. He was an excellent host. He collected & delivered us to & from the airport €40 each way (very reasonable especially since we were met inside the airport & delivered to the front door at about 11:00 pm). There was never an issue that Dimitri wasn't able to resolve & he's very knowledgeable of the restaurants, businesses, excursions, history & sites around Plantania, Chania & across the island. Sonio Restaurant-Bar next door is right on the beach & very popular. We ate there twice and were accommodated even though we had no reservations. They are packed every night. Oscars restaurant is at the top of the laneway and serves some of the best BBQ Ribs you'll eat. Next to Oscars is an excellent late night market & less than a 10 min walk away is a Lidl (super market) for stocking up the refrigerator at a reasonable price. Overall our stay was one of the best we've had on any of our trips around Europe. Hospitality is King everywhere & the food is awesome. This is the first holiday we've taken where every meal we ate out was excellent. For an apartment with the basics, you could hardly do any better. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had all the basics to cook yourself a good breakfast & lunch, nice hot showers, A/C & a great covered area with table & chairs outside the front door.

The only negative we experienced in the area (and this is in no way connected to or related to our accommodation) was the owner of YAMAS Restaurant & Bar. Not a very nice man. BUT, right next door is Sonio Restaurant & Bar which is locally considered one of the best places to go.

A really good hotel for the price. Very close to the beach, central and with a wonderful host. His mum who was cleaning at the hotel was super friendly too.

The beds could be a little bit more comfortable. Otherwise everything was great.
