The staff was superb. The food was excellent. The dive team did everything possible to help us see the species we were most interested in seeing. This is a fantastic resort! We only wish we could have stayed longer and visited all the amazing dive sites. Dive Master Larry was awesome, and the dive manager went out of her way to help us see some rarer species. Tony at the bar takes great care of you after the dive day.

PLEASE READ THE POSITIVES FIRST! THIS IS A TOP-NOTCH DIVE RESORT, AND WE LOVED OUR STAY However, we feel it necessary to inform that guests should be aware that the Whale Sharks tour is located in Loay. At this location, the sharks are fed, which is widely recognized as not eco-friendly. The website description is a bit misleading on this subject. In fact, in our planning, we had specifically chosen not to go to Loay because of this and chose Anda and Magic Oceans because we assumed the sharks were in a different location and seen in a responsible way. As beautiful as the sharks are, and as well as the tour was organized, we would have opted out of it had we known. For a dive business that is otherwise exemplary from an ecoconsious point of view, this is a disappointing inclusion in their dive operation.

We had a wonderful stay at Magic Oceans, staff is wonderful and place really quiet, perfect place for diving, location is great also to discover the areas. Could dream of better place to stay

Everything. Staff was amazing. So welcoming and friendly. Diving was completely stress free. Schedules were easy to set up daily. Food was delicious

By far the best resort in Anda. Overall the hotel is lovely and has a relaxing atmosphere. I can’t rate the staff enough, over the 6 days of our stay we were extremely well looked after by Eric and the everyone else, everyone is very attentive to your needs. Rooms are simple but very spacious, the outdoor bar, restaurant area and pool are great too. For divers it seemed the diving centre was well equipped and they’re all experts.

My only comment would be about the food, I think the cuisine could be improved and have more tradicional dishes rather than western options. Or even less menu options but changing it up over the course of the week. Unfortunately this seemed to be the case everywhere in Anda, we couldn’t find another restaurant which would do Philippines food, it was always a mix of Chinese and Western and very poor quality.
