Plenty of room inside and out. Loved the multiple decks looking out at the river.

We stayed here for four nights and could not have been more pleased with both the property and the house! The house itself was large yet cozy with extensive decking to enjoy the river view. The many outdoor amenities were fabulous, such as the floating dock, grill, hot tub, fire pit, covered porch right at the water’s edge. We spent plenty of time just enjoying the serenity of the river.
The owner was very respectful of our privacy and also responded to any inquiries we had within 5 to 10 minutes.
Will definitely return and recommend this location to friends.

Room to have family altogether around the holidays just to enjoy time together play games, eat good food and enjoy the outdoors. Christmas tree was very pretty and a nice festive touch.

If you're looking for a quiet and remote getaway near Fayetteville, this is perfect! The location is a bit out of the way but that's exactly what we wanted. The view of the river and outdoor amenities including hot tub, Cornhole, fire pit, and horse shoes were all we needed to keep us entertained during our five night stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay me and my husband loved the peace and quiet and i constant communication with the host throughout our stay. It was the perfect way to bring in my birthday . The house was cleaned, smelled good too. The room was heated for us when we got there . Didnt get a chance to use the hot tub or fire pit. But everything was described like posting , i enjoyed laying in the hammock, n sitting in the rocking chairs .We are definitely comming back for Christmas if its available. I recommend this place to anyone looking to spend sometime enjoying nature by the Rivah . 5 stars from us thank u again to the hosts for all you do.

Everybody loved the cabin and the layout of the area. Enjoyed fishing, cooking and just hanging out. Mr.Bollinger was very attentive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again.Thanks again!

Relaxing area. Will update more once rest of family returns from extended trip.
Dirt road in was mentioned, however not as expected even though semi warned due to weather it can change. Additional pictures or updates closer to rental time would help to improve readiness for arrival.
Dale was very responsive. Cabin is next to the river up the bank. Gazebo is good to hangout and close by fire pit if weather decides to cooperate. Definetely bring heavy duty bug spray as with the moisture they were heavier than expected even with the Off applied and sprayed.
Site only allows a certain time period to leave a review which we want to however the site restrictions prohibit that ability to respond once everyone contributes to the experience.

We thouroghly enjoyed our stay, for my wife and I the location was perfect and the house was clean and comfortable. The managers were very easy to work with and accomodating.

Wonderful place to stay. The host was very responsive and even gave us a tour of the property. This will definitely be a repeat visit. The river was way to fast for the family to fish in but in the same area is a swamp and it was perfect for letting the kids fish!

My hisband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. The house was even better than the pictures! Absolutely amazing. Even though we didn't get to do much because of the rain, it was nice to just sit out on tbe porch listening to the rain. It was so quiet and the perfect getaway to reset. We will definitely be coming back with our family!

We enjoyed our time on this riverfront property. It was well maintained and clean. We were able to use the provided canoe and hot tub (additonal fee on the latter). We also enjoyed fishing on the dock (no bites) and the doggos enjoyed swimming in the river. The deck is massive and was really nice for evenings. We lucked into some nice weather and also enjoyed a local vineyard and made a trip to a Wilmington. It was a pleasant stay and we would return again.

This place was amazing!. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. The decks were amazing there were several to choose from to relax at different times of the day. There is a main huge one that would be perfect for summertime and having kids set up air mattresses on it and sleep under the stars . Also it is large enough to host a venue. Will definitely be repeat renters. Can't wait to be here in the summertime. It was so relaxing and the owner was available to us anytime we needed him. Thanks for the wonderful stay Dale. If you are looking for a great outdoor experience with water activity and lots of space, this is it. Although we didn't take advantage of the river because it was the first week of January and we didn't expect to kayak, we completely enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces at this property. We used the outdoor grill, firepit, hot tub, and all the decks and places to sit.
We had so much fun and will definitely book again!
The owner is very responsive and quick to stop by, if you need anything.
The upstairs bedrooms have closets, but not the downstairs. The master suite downstairs has a large dresser instead.
The downstairs sleeping arrangements are perfect for a couple and their child/children.
There are two bedrooms upstairs with a full bath.
If you intend to watch television, the tv has access to a wide variety of options.

This is the third time we have stayed at one of your properties. We started out at the Ecolodge, went to the Cozy Cabin and just had to try the Rivah one as well. We love the peaceafulness and the wildlife. It is a great adventure and we just love staying there. We will be back again in a couple of months for sure. Thank you for having us.

Not sure what the last guest was talking about in their review. Pictures in listing are pretty accurate with the exception of a few minor changes of furniture. Never saw any holes in the walls anywhere. We had no issue paying the extra fees for the linens and the hot tub because it was still cheaper than any other comparable properties. Dale and Rocio were both extremely nice. Very good people. We had the opportunity to meet and talk with them while they were at a neighboring property they own. When they found out we were on our honeymoon they went to a local winery and bought (and delivered) a couple bottles of wine as a congratulations to us. Any issues we had at the property (a light not working, sliding glass door latch not latching completely) they addressed and corrected immediately. We only even mentioned these things in conversation just so they were aware and they took action right away to fix them. This property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We loved sitting on the many decks, watching the river and the wildlife, fishing off the dock, and relaxing in the hot tub.

Pictures and descriptions are misleading. This is a potentially dangerous property and there were inadequate cleaning supplies to meet the owners requirements. Holes in walls, drapes will not close. Bed was very uncomfortable, directions to operate that couldn't be followed and ridiculous fees. These are only a few of our concerns with this property. I can be contacted for clarification and pictures.

We had a great time! So many extras on the property. We got a lot of rain on Saturday and some on but Friday, but we enjoyed sitting on the covered decks and watching the river, playing monopoly and watching movies. We saw lots of wildlife, several squirrels, two snakes, and turtles. We didn’t have much luck on the fishing, still enjoyed our stay. Owners are very nice, very responsive. We would stay again.

The views are gorgeous and the property was immaculate. We enjoyed lounging in the hot tub while viewing the river and listening to the birds. There are several outdoor spaces for relaxing. Highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful. Enjoyed every part. Easy drive in, not far from town yet quiet and serene. Host was very nice and stopped by halfway through our stay to check the hot tub and get trash. Very relaxing vacation. Planning to return

This was an absolutely amazing trip! The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, and just what I needed. My husband and I celebrated 11 years together and our first married at the Rivahgetaway. Cooking out in the gazebo might have been his favorite part. And personally I just lost my sweet uncle this summer, but being out in the canoe on the Cape Fear made me feel closer to him. It was a healing experience of celebration. And I hope to be back soon.

This was a great stay for my family. As we are all adults now it’s nice to come together for a week and reconnect. We also brought our dogs with us and they loved the space they had to run. Being on the river was very relaxing. Would recommend to a friend or family member!

We had a great time staying at the River Getaway home. The location is nicely secluded but easy to get to. So much outdoor space and amazing views of the river! It was HOT while we were there but the AC kept us nice and cool. Definitely recommend this rental!
