The property owners were so good and easy to work with even when we booked this property last minute because of a glitch that happened in our trip, they made the process easy. The house is actually bigger than I was expecting from the pictures, very clean, and the amenities were good quality. The outside area is cute and it was nice to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The property is also located centrally to so many tourist attractions, downtown St. Augustine, and the beach that made getting around very easy. Finally the owners even made suggestions for restaurants and we tried out a few which definitely lived up to the recommendation!

My sister and I, along with our families had a wonderful time at this property. It was much bigger than it looked in the pictures (except the pool - that is as cute as it looks 😅) and served us well since we both have two teenage daughters each. The beach access was just a 5min walk away so we spent a lot of time there. When the weather turned cold or rainy there was plenty to do like the alligator farm or fountain of youth park - great attractions. And downtown St. Augustine was a short drive away. The neighborhood was quiet and being on the canal was very peaceful. Highly recommend.

This beautiful home is located at the end of a very quiet street backed by a very quiet canal with boat access. The beautiful beach (public access) is located just a few minutes walk or bike ride away (4 bikes are provided). The location of the home is just about 15 minutes south of historic St. Augustine with several restaurants located nearby. This home was sparkling clean from top to bottom, well furnished and very comfortable for our large group. The screened in patio is perfect for relaxing in the evening as well as the spacious deck, patio and pool area out back. The pool is more of a plunge pool because of the size but personally I love plunge pools. Great for just relaxing with a few beverages. There are two kayaks provided which can easily be launched from the deck area. There is a ramp adjacent to the deck that leads to a floating dock so it’s easy to board the vessels as the dock rises and falls with the tide. If this is your first time in St. Augustine make sure you give yourself ample time to enjoy the area. 3-4 days is truly not enough plus you really could just relax at this property and not go anywhere and feel very content. I would have to say that I wouldn’t hesitate at all staying here again. Actually, I look forward to booking this property again, but for a longer duration, the next time we plan on visiting the area.

Every year for Labor Day, my family and I will choose a city and meet up for the weekend. This year was St. Augustine and everyone kept commenting that this was their favorite location and house. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool was the perfect size for those who preferred that to the walkable beach. My siblings used the bikes and the kayaks provided and those were in good order, too. Also, the beach wagon that was provided was perfect for hauling all of our stuff to the beach. I only wish that we could have stayed longer. We plan on booking again for next year. Thanks again!

We were a little bummed we couldn't be directly on the beach, but this gem was better than expected. The house was larger and more beautiful than the pictures show. The kids kayaked and the little jetted pool was perfect to stay cool. We drank coffee and had great conversations every morning on the screened in porch. We were able to park our jeep right on the beach which was less than a two minute drive. All in all it was a great vacation.

As families usually are, my family likes different things. Some like to be near the activity of the beach and things to do, some like the quietness of a canal for the ease of boating. This was one of the few properties that had both! My husband was able to unload his boat the day we arrived and keep it docked the entire time. No wasting of time to load and unload at the boat ramp daily. He was able to jump in and go whenever he wanted. Sometimes we joined him for fishing or relaxing at the beach area by one of the bridges. We even saw a sea turtle! There are plenty of good restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby without driving into downtown St. Augustine. But you would never know that by how quiet the house is though. The kids and I were able to drive only 15 minutes to downtown St. Augustine and enjoy shopping, restaurants, and tours. We loved the lighthouse and the fort. The property is super clean, newly remodeled and nicely decorated with comfortable beds, new appliances, spacious bathrooms, and beautiful hardwood floors. We were able to wash clothes in the nicest washer and dryer I've ever used. Our daughter and her husband had their own bedroom and bathroom giving them privacy while our two other children - one 23 and one 15 had their own bedrooms. They could sleep late while we enjoyed breakfast on the screened in porch. We also underestimated how much we would enjoy the little pool. It is perfect for jumping in and cooling off. One of our favorite days was spent on the dock under the shading just relaxing and reading. There is plenty of space inside for talking on comfy couches or watching TV in another area. The Smart TV had everything we needed because we are huge soccer fans and were able to watch the Gold Cup. We also enjoyed the bikes that were there. There are kayaks but we didn't use them because we had the boat. Patty and Harry were amazing and easy to work with. They were very responsive to our needs and/or any questions we had. I can't say enough about what a gem this house is. If you get a chance to book it, you are one lucky family.

I thought the house was adorable. I loved the decor. I was disappointed that there were not televisions in all bedrooms. The two that were there was also small. The pool also appears larger in the house views online. The weather was not great. Overall, we had a great time. I would definitely recommend it for a beach getaway.
