We went up to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful weekend. The checkin/out process was painless. The cabin was spotless. The area is beautiful. We will certainly be back!

Great little cabin, might be tight for more than two. Everything that you need. I'd recommend it to anybody who wants to be close to West Jefferson.

One of its most initial factors turned out to be also one of its most problematic. It is close to downtown West Jefferson. It is close to a grocery store and has easy access to the highway. So easy that the noise of the highway and road to downtown were loud and spoiled the peaceful looking and spacious front porch. Inside, the noise level was fine and late at night and early in the am. Otherwise, clean, well appointed, and great service.

Very nice cabin. Was perfect location. Close to downtown yet seemed isolated and private. Hot tub was great. Bed comfortable. Sleep very well. Kitchen had everything you need.

We came out to West Jefferson on Thursday to do an organized bike ride and stayed in this cabin until early Monday morning. It was clean and spacious and really very nice. The beds (at least the bed downstairs that we slept in) was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the front porch enjoying the weather and watching the baby deer and what we think was a gopher. The hot tub was glorious as there was a slight chill in the air. While within walking distance of downtown, the cabin was very private. We didn’t see any other cars or people on the street next to the cabin the while time we were there. The traffic on Saturday night was a bit loud because there was an old car rally and it really is that close to downtown, but for the rest of our stay it was quite quiet. The driveway is a bit steep and we found it easier to back up it than back down it (so maybe others might do the same). The only issue we had was the trash disposal, as somehow we ended up reenacting Arlo Guthrie part in Alice’s Restaurant driving around town with a bag of garbage because we could not find the disposal place, only to determine that it was closed on Sundays (pray we do not end up on the Group W bench). The downtown area is cute with several restaurants, two breweries and a lot of antique stores, and we took a drive to the top of Mt Jefferson (about 3 miles away), which has several trails and lookout areas. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I and two friends were very happy as we drove up the driveway the cabin was beautiful. Inside it was decorated nicely and so clean. It was a perfect three night vacation. As stated in the write up it is a steep driveway in fact we had to put our truck in 4 wheel drive😃 There is a charcoal grill not a gas grill so if needed bring some coal. The cabin was so close to all the shopping, food, groceries store and liquor store in west Jefferson would highly recommend this place to anyone😄

This was probably one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. Although we didn't get to do much cooking, the kitchen was fully stocked! Beautifully decorated, ( I'm trying to find a quilt like the one on the king bed), and comfortable. I appreciate that we could have our fur babies with us, they loved laying on the porch and watching the wildlife. It was perfect for my husband and I. We travel to that area the same weekend every year for a special event honoring our son who passed away a few years ago. We will definitely consider this cabin again next year. Thank you!!

Nice and clean, gave us a respite to rest from all the wedding activities

My husband and I and small dog enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed (could have used a few more dish towels). Close to downtown restaurants and shops. We wished it had a better view of the mountains. The driveway was challenging as at the very top it was not paved and was difficult to get up and down even with our SUV. Also, the hot tub smelled musty just standing next to it even with the cover on. We only used it the first day for a short period. We couldn't stand the smell and our suits smelled musty even after rinsing them.

Process from beginning to end was fantastic and the location was perfect!

Very comfortable stay. Great central location for traveling to Boone and Blowing Rock. Best of all right in Downtown West Jefferson where we spent most of our time.

We had an excellent time in this secluded home. The house was meticulously appointed for us and our little dog.

We loved this cabin. A girlfriend and I stayed there and found the space very comfortable. It is close to downtown West Jefferson and easy to get to Blowing Rock and the Parkway. We saw deer on the property and enjoyed the deck every afternoon. The kitchen is well appointed and it is convenient to the market. We did use our 4 wheel drive to make the turn onto the driveway but otherwise very nice property. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay at the downtown cabin. It was clean, dog friendly, had everything we needed, and was only a stone’s throw to downtown West Jefferson. I wouldn’t say it’s exactly walkable as there’s no sidewalks leading from the property to the downtown area but it’s do-able. Overall great experience and would recommend for solo travelers, couples, or small group of 2-4 people.

We had a good relaxing stay. College friends together to play golf. We were very comfortable in this little getaway. The only complaint is while I was looking for a place to stay the description said two bathrooms. Then when I got the confirmation did it tell me that it was one and a half baths. We made it work though and would come back.

Relaxing getaway stay- felt homey but close to fun downtown with great shows and restaurants! Especially loved the butterfly bush- lived watching both the butterflies and hummingbirds

We enjoyed our stay. This cabin is so close to downtown but feels secluded. It had everything we needed in the small cabin.

My wife and I had a great weekend. We found a local music arena to go to, had a nice lunch in town and enjoyed the amenities of the house. It is close to town, so if your looking for remote this isn’t it. However, we had no issues with it being close. We will book again in the future.

Adorable house and convenient to downtown. We loved the location and the privacy of the property. Highly recommend but take a hair dryer. It is listed as one of the amenities but is not included.

Loved it! Very quiet, but close to everything. Will book again this year.

We really enjoyed this cabin. Was a great location to do the things downtown we had planned. It was actually very private, considering it was closer to the main road than others we have rented, BUT we wanted to be downtown, so was very happy with it. The bed was comfortable, in our opinions…and we are picky. Hot tub was great! The stars and almost full moon were awesome! We would definitely rent this place again. Also loved the gas fireplace. There was a single Kcup and large pot coffee maker. We didn’t seem to notice any vehicles on the highway when we were inside the cabin except for one person who wanted to show off their loud muffler one night for about 3 minutes. 😂 Thanks Jerita for allowing us to stay an extra night!

Awesome place! Just minutes from restaurants and grocery stores! Clean, and so cozy! Will definitely be back SOON!

The house was nice overall but I would not rent again.

The property is very nice. It is very close to the main road going into West Jefferson so we heard a lot of traffic especially from trucks using engine brakes to slow down. The listing was inaccurate in that the unit had a regular coffee maker, not a K cup style Luckily we brought coffee grinds that worked. The hot tub was not working, but got it working due to google. The driveway was a rutted gravel path. The phone in the cabin kept ringing every 15 minutes (had to unplug). Beds were not very comfortable and there was not enough toilet paper in the place. Overpaid for what we expected. West Jefferson was awesome!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Rainy weekend get away so we stayed inside and enjoyed the cabin mostly. Front porch sitting and hot tub relaxing. Check in was super easy and communication with Property Management was surprisingly responsive. Looking forward to future stays with Blue Ridge.

Most places we have stayed add a nice touch of having coffee or water. This place offered nothing other than what was stated. We also believe the dishes had not been cleaned properly. There was not any detergent for the dishwasher so we suspect they had been run through the dishwasher without detergent.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation.
