We loved the deck and beautiful view of canal. The quiet was so peaceful and the house had everything. Very comfortable and well decorated. We enjoyed the kitchen and cooking our meals.

What a great house and location. We were amazed at the details of things the owners provide (kitchen wares, q tips, even a second monitor for work time. We'll be back for sure!!

The home was wonderful and we had a great time! Everything was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The views from here are incredible and we had great viewing of seals right out front. There was even a 2 person kayak available for use and plenty of lifejackets and water toys for everyone to have a great time. We will definitely be back!

Location is awesome. The place was organized, clean and felt like home. Amazing place to disconnect from busy life or have a small family get togethers

The house is immaculately designed and furnished. The grounds and beach are private and perfect. The views are everywhere; mountains, skies, sunsets, boats, birds, seals, fish and we even saw whales!!! We are making this an annual family experience. Priceless.

Perfect house equipped for the whole family and right on the water

This place is pretty awesome. Was hesitant at first as not many reviews. But, this place is stocked, clean, modern enough and right on the water! It's very quiet and serene. Amazing sunsets over the Olympic mountains. Cool mornings and warm afternoons. Place has everything you need, full kitchen, bathroom toiletries, washer and dryer, etc... pro/cons: very very remote! No stores, no bars, no nada... so be sure to bring your party with you. Secondly, only 1 streaming TV in the entire house, would be nice to have others in bedrooms. Lastly, the wifi and cell service is top notch. We would stay again!

The house is absolutely gorgeous location, but on our arrival, we struggled to get first lock open, then had no idea where to find the key to get into the house. We had to call, and were put on line and during all this we wasted an hour. Getting into the house we discovered the bathroom had not been cleaned, garbage was left that we had to take care of. The door handle was almost falling off the front door. It says in brochure you cannot have pets up on furniture, and one of the couches upstairs was covered in dog hair I did not see, and ended up having it trigger my asthma. Due to this, I had to over medicate the next day and I spent the day exhausted from this. Also, the deck had eagle leave mess on it and we could not find a hose anywhere to clean off. Notice on wall says to put water toys away but we could not find one anywhere? Amazing view, but could not make up for all the issues for what we were charged. Vacasa is aware of this and has yet to contact me regarding cleaning fee.

We’ve rented a number of Hood Canal properties and are pretty comfortable with the area. This home is nicely appointed with well above average amenities such as games and puzzles and a well stocked and cared for kitchen. The 180 degree views of the Canal and Olympics are stunning. The only two cautionary notes are 1) the property is a long way from grocery stores, restaurants etc. For us the quiet and serenity more than made up for the isolation, particularly as many Canal properties are right next to each other. 2) the owners do not allow harvesting of shellfish. This is the only time we have encountered this. So if you’re looking forward to an oyster or clam dinner you’ll have to get them elsewhere. Apart from the above, this is a wonderful house and well worth a return trip!
