We had a wonderful Christmas stay! The house was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The location was ideal with easy access to multiple ski resorts, and the hot tub was a nice bonus after a long day of skiing. Shay even put out some lovely Christmas decorations which made it feel like home. We would love to stay here again!

The Modern Moose condo is an updated, clean, comfortable and just a delightful base camp for winter ski activities in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon. Our host Shay was communicative and helpful from booking to departure. I highly recommend these wonderful hosts and their condo!

Three families got together for the second year in a row to celebrate Thanksgiving— the property worked perfectly for our needs. It is a high end property that is stocked with everything you could ever need. Very comfortable beds and lounging furniture with separate spaces for kids and adults to enjoy different activities. The location could not be better with hiking trails and ski resorts just minutes away. Shay provided great communication and was helpful in accommodating our requests. I would definitely stay here again!

It's hard to limit all the great things this property has to offer in a short summary but I will do my best. Its location is about 2 minutes from the mouth of the canyon and sits just below the mountains, so if you want to hike, mountain bike, sight see, you can't really pick a better property. The property is also close to great restaurants, grocery stores and a beautiful park if you just want to breath some fresh air. The actual property looks updated, it's clean, well kept, spacious, and has great furniture, beds, bathrooms, and a large kitchen that accommodates large groups. We had a few guests for dinner and they raved about the property. The hosts are attentive, helpful, and kind. We had a small issue with the water heater and it was fixed quickly and effectively. Texts were responded to quickly and its was just a pleasure interacting with Shay. All this to say, we all greatly appreciated you opening your house to us. We shared some great memories and met knew friends and this property accommodated a great experience. I would stay here again with friends and I would most definitely stay here with my family as well.

Very nice place and Shay did all she could to accommodate a change in schedule due to the hurricane in Florida affecting our travel plans. Highly recommend.

The house was perfect in every way! Very well stocked, clean, spacious and perfect location to 4 ski areas. There were 6 of us and we all had plenty of room. The host responded to any questions within minutes. Would definitely come back!

This condo is beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need for a great stay! We skied every day at Alta and Snowbird and it was a quick and easy drive from the condo. Thanks for a very comfortable stay!

Great spot with easy access to little or big cottonwood canyon, or Park City. Place came pre-equipped with everything we needed and the manager was highly responsive.

This was the perfect property from which to ski Snowbird/Alta! We could get up to the mountain easily, were less than 5 minutes from groceries, and there was so much to do in the house, we rarely left other than to ski. We loved relaxing in the hot tub! There were multiple great common spaces including incredibly comfy couches and the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked. This is a great place for multiple groups/families given lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, and multiple living rooms/common spaces. Shay was incredibly responsive and a great host. We would try to stay here again if possible for future trips to the area.

This property has a fabulous location for access to the canyons and valley. It was super clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for our group of 6. Loved having the entertainment area with games, basketball shoot and video game console for my teens. Kept them all happy when not out and about. Shay was responsive and great to work with. We will be back for sure!

Our group of 8 stayed comfortably at the Moose House. It was in a super convenient spot for the skiing we did and had plenty of room to comfortably hang out and cook. The hot tub was amazing after a day in the snow. Id highly recommend this house!

We were a group of 8 adults - and the house was more than big enough. Two great common rooms, amazing kitchen, super modern and perfectly clean. Shay was great from start to finish.. responded to inquiries, provided us everything we needed. As for location - if you're skiing Cottonwood Canyons you really can't get much closer to the entrance to both.

The property was excellent for a guys ski trip of 6. Very comfortable all around, kitchen had plenty of extras for meals cooked at the place. Easy access to skiing in either canyon. Property manager was very hospitable and reliable.

This was our first time visiting SLC. We loved it. The house was well stocked with lots of extras. Location was great for heading to multiple ski resorts. Close to grocery store and restaurants. We would definitely come back.

This house is so close to everything. There's a shopping center as well as multiple ski shops and restaurants nearby. It was short trip to the mountains in the morning only about 15 minutes away from snowbird and alta. Park city and Deer Valley are a little bit further as well. I would definitely do another ski trip from here again.

We had a great time stay in Cottownood Heights! We had 11 people staying in the house and had plenty of space. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The teens loved hanging out in the basement. The kitchen is very well stocked. Everyone enjoyed the private hot tub on the back deck! The location is perfect for hitting the nearby ski slopes. The hosts are very kind and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

This home was very cozy and clean. Definitely more comfortable than a hotel room and offered privacy and convenience. It worked out perfectly for my guests and me.

We loved our stay in the Modern Moose. The home was well furnished with lots of space. Great attention to detail in order to have a fun stay. We plan to stay here again next time we’re in Salt Lake.

The home had been nicely updated and was accurately reflected in the photos. We were however a little disappointed that there was no place to sit outside. This is a townhome so it has a shared yard with a small deck that can really only fit the hot tub. Our first day there it was really hot out and the upstairs could not cool off . Once the weather cooled down, this was no longer an issue. It is in a nice neighborhood with good access to the freeway.

What a great stay we had. Not only was the location incredibly convenient but the home is spotless and very comfortable. We had Everything we needed for our stay. Owner was very communicative and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

(1) Great location near canyons big and little cottonwood (skiing and hiking). Close to freeway so easy drive to downtown Salt Lake for entertainment and dinner … and easy drive to Park City. (2) Great townhome with great living room space for the adults and basement entertainment space for the kids. And loved having a hot tub to relax.

This listing is everything it claims to be and more. The condo was immaculate and the check-in process was super easy. The property manager was super friendly and easy to work with. The location is fantastic - perfect for my family who likes to adventure up in the mountains. There is a cute park a short walking distance away We had a hard time getting my kids outside because there were so many fun things to do at the condo. I highly recommend this spot and we will certainly be returning!

This was a great spot for a family ski trip. Close to the ski resorts but still within the city. The little boys loved the arcade game downstairs. Great spot to stay.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The house is extremely comfortable and every room is spacious and clean. The basement suite is really nice as both a hangout space and a private bedroom area. My husband and I stayed at Ane's place for a week with a group of our close friends (including an infant) and it was perfect. It was comfortable for everyone to sleep and work for a few days as well as close enough to all the mountains for us to get in plenty of skiing at Alta, Snowbird and Deer Valley. The kitchen is really lovely and well stocked for cooking lots of meals at home which we did a lot of. We would love to stay again another time when we are back in Utah!

Close to everything, especially Alta, Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton. Lots of space for everyone and the kids loved the basketball and video games. High speed internet fast enough for everyone to use without any issues. No cable but all of the TV's are internet connected smart TV's with Netflix, Hulu, etc. Just have your user names and passwords available so you can log in and get access. Would definitely stay here again!

Property was overpriced. Basics such as Kleenex were guests' responsibility. Our original rental was overbooked so we had to find something at the last minute.
