The beach was crowded but august period does not help

Breakfast is not standard as you get different menus every day. If you do not like the menu you can always ask to change it or eat some marmalade or honey. A couple of times we ate dinner at the hotel and the fish and grill squids were good. Konstantinos and his family are super friendly and very helpful. He even came and helped me sort out some misunderstandings in the local shop. The cleanliness of the room and overall of the hotel was exceptional, they even changed our bed linens after 3 days and the room was always spotless. I would definitely recommend the stay at this hotel. It offers a good ratio between 3 stars hotel and the price.

This goes to the location of Sarande and the nearby beach. The beaches are all payable, crowded and quite small. If you want to do better you need to drive around.

I liked the location. Close to the city center and the nice beach where you can rent affordable sun beds and umbrellas. I also liked the family vibe from the owners of the place. Very friendly and nice people . Breakfast were always freshly made each morning and it was good . Rooms were clean. I also liked it was quite and peaceful at night so great for good night sleep. Also great coffee and wine is available at the bar of the hotel for additional price .

The hotel is wonderful! Starting from the fact that the owner and his family are very hospitable and kind, ending with the service. The rooms were cleaned daily, they always smelled good and the staff was very nice. Breakfast every day was different and very tasty. Fresh food, delicious drinks and many different sweets. The hotel is close to the sea, which made our life much easier! And special thanks to the owner for taking us to the hotel from the airport in case of problems. Great hotel and people, highly recommended!

Nothing, everything well

The hotel has free parking spaces for guests which is very useful in Sarande. The staff helped us find the way to the hotel, and the cleaning ladies were polite. Our room had a balcony with a great view, apart from the construction site in front of the hotel where a beach used to be.

There are things that need significant improving: - the bathroom was small with a broken sink and the shower space was very narrow with a shower curtain that was too short, which makes the flooding of the bathroom inevitable. After two people taking a shower, the bathroom floor was completely wet even though we wiped it multiple times. Despite being careful, I slipped and fell and if it were someone older or if I had hit the sink, this could have resulted in serious injury. This problem has a very simple and inexpensive solution - a longer shower curtain. - the breakfast was poor quality and lacked options. It had slight variations each day, but it was served as multiple things, sweet and salty together, on a single plate. The coffee wasn't good, but you can pay extra for a different type of coffee. Apart from that, there is a constrution site with ongoing work just in front of the hotel. All the beaches nearby are pretty crowded and you need to pay for a spot. The same music is constantly playing on repeat on the terrace from early in the morning and it can be heard from the rooms, so even though the hotel is away from the centre, it's not really quiet because of this and the noise coming from the construction site. All things considered, I wouldn't recommend this place.

it was a wonderful experience and stay with konstantinos and his family; even though way to short - had Ive known before that it might get even close to this exceptional I would have stayed longer! they are pure hosts with all their heart and even for the famous and great hospitality of albanians they were exceptionally welcoming! everything you need, itll be there within no time! great breakfast and evening chillouts in a wonderful garden atmosphere! the owners father grilled me a more than wonderful fresh fish like I had been in a michelin star place, even better - he did it very late and with all his heart and passion! the cutest kittens, baby turtels - everything there, so I guess this place is also wonderful to stay with one’s family! interestingconversations about albania and its history were also part of my short stay with the owners… facilities clean and in order, as it should be … all in all, not one single bad word about this place, pure passion which the customer can feel at any second of his stay!! A truly beautiful hotel operated by a delightful family, the Kalemis family. They were always present and eagerly assisted us with everything. The rooms are impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, and we absolutely adored the expansive outdoor terraces that offered breathtaking views of the sea. Having private parking provided us with peace of mind as we securely parked our car. Moreover, the breakfast was not only delicious but also varied each day. Despite the ongoing construction in the area, we are confident that it will transform into an even more stunning destination next year!

Super hotel and staff , womderful sea

We spent 5 nights in the Hotel of the Kalemis family. One of the nicest, most helpful people I've ever met. We had a lot of fun. They helped with everything, prepared a great breakfast and dinner. The rooms were clean and nice. I hope I can go back to them one day.

The kindness of the owners was something we really appreciated ! Vangelia, Konstantinos and Ilia hosted us as if we were family members, always with a smile on their face! Spacious and private parking, something really rare for Saranda! Delicious home made breakfast! The rooms were clean and comfortable!

Great place, clean and comfortable rooms. One of the most important things is the private parking of the property, where I could leave my car without any worries. In Saranda it’s extremely tough to find parking and most people had their cars parked in the streets. The family running the hotel was really kind and extremely helpful. Really close to the centre as well.

It’s the fourth time I am I visiting this hotel and the feeling is always the same. Being welcomed by the professional and very kind owners. The room was very clean. Great parking space and also a fresh taste with the spacious terraces in the concrete chaos of Saranda. Your kindness and hospitality always makes me come back.

I would really like to emphasize how great the hosts are. The hotel is managed and taken care by an amazing family, who does everything at their power to give the guests the best experience. we felt as if we were home. Good (but limited) breakfast. Location is fine, 10-minute walk to the boulevard.

The staff is extremely kind! Even being located 10 min from the Port, the hotel is very quiet and calm, great for relaxing. Comfortabel bed, varied options in breakfast and very clean.

A home away from home and a new wonderful family to create a bond with ❤️! I’d definitely recommend Kalemi’s hotel for sure! Coming back next year!!

The family who owns and manage the hotel is more than friendly, awesome. They will welcome you speaking Greek, Albanian, English and Italian too.

the hotel is shown as front beach, but it actually really isn't. You have to walk to another area of the beach nearby because the hotels beach is under construction. but the nearby beach is very near so it is ok. beach was very nice.

the hotel has 2 buildings, a new and an old one. In the pictures is shown only the new one so we did not get the rooms we booked. the breakfast is served in a plate, like it is not open to take what you want! you will get eggs and croissants and cheese and jam, sausage all in one plate.

Excellent service. Lovely family business. Family made you feel comfortable and very helpful.

Good location near the sea and very friendly staff- we were offered a little upgrade,However , we chose the hotel to spend some time on the beach (as it says Ksamil Beach and Hotel)but for some strange reason we could not use it-you need to be there before 11 a.m and that is before any check in. The WiFi connection in the room did not work either.
