Great hotel with great service however there was a roach in our room. We also could not get into our room for at least 30 minutes due to key failure. They did end up sending someone up that fixed the problem.

Very friendly workers! Housekeeping came every single day, which is hard to come by these days. Clean hotel, security guard 24/7. Very pleased. I will stay there if i go bsck to NOLA.

Balcony was not accessible but present. Room was clean and air was cold. Was charged an extra fee for an unknown reason. I have tried several times to reach their finance department but no one answers nor returns calls

I booked this room on line through Expedia/Hotels.com
I made the selections offered as extras.
One of the selections was:
"Breakfast for 2" $20.00 which I selected.
Another selection was "Parking $35.00" which I also selected. Every time I made a selection, it recalculated the base rate for the room the extra prices for the selections. Good. Well we went down for breakfast and waaa laa. Breakfast was not included in my reservation. The parking was calculated correctly but they told me that they don't offer breakfasts, so we had to pay for it.
Now after getting the chance, I just now went to the website (Expedia's, not Holiday Inn's site), and tried to book another night so as to see if it happens to charge for a breakfast of AIR again.. Plus I asked about parking for another night and was told $45.00 bucks. Hey, $20.00 could have been used for a bigger tip for the staff.

This hotel at best was an average stay. The room floor was dirty with hair and food crumbs. I am an active duty army service member with a service dog. Upon booking the hotel stay I thoroughly checked to see if animals were allowed on the property, and service animals were. When checking in I provided the necessary information. At checkout the party that I met at the hotel was charged an animal cleaning fee when in fact they did not have an animal with them. When the front desk was told the party did not have a pet the staff went on to tell the person she was seen with the dog at midnight the day after check in which was a blatant lie and attempted to keep the additional charges on their stay. I even told the security guard after checking in that I am military with a service animal, he stated it was fine. All in all this was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience with this hotel and staff. I have never experienced this with other brands such as Marriott and Hilton. Will not be returning and will contact corporate.

I went down for a cup of coffee and my room key did not work on my return to the elevator the person at the desk was not friendly and told me she would not keep calling the room and because i did not have my id i could not be allwoed to get a new key that works and i would need to conact the person in the room who was getting in the shower when i left the room. She did say she called the room 3 times but i sat for over 40 minutes before someone else helped me. I wish i had been told at check in to carry my id with me incase the room keys stopped working. I wish the customer service has been kind and porfessional and i had not had to sit in the lobby. The wait in the restaurant is out ridiculous not many workers we waited to he seated and waited for out order to be taken and waited for the food to come. The bar services is outstanding i will say that and the drinks are good. We also had to pay a deposit with a card we had not been made aware of when we checked it. I am thankful a staff stepped in and helped me but i am not happy and would like a refund. We called many yimes out of toilet paper and needed towels and no one answer the phone at the desk. I called to have the fire tables turned on at the pool and was told the weather was too warm for that - it sure doesnt say that on the website where the photos are posted. The floor on the roof top pool is falling apart and broken all over the place and someone could really get hurt. The towles where not stocked at the pool

I loved the front desk staff, the security guards and Amy the bartender. I did not like how a problem was handled when I asked for my bedding to be changed and woke two hours later with blisters and hives on my face and a rash all over my body at 2 a.m. The desk staff couldn't find clean bedding and brought me two flat queen sheets, a queen pillowcase and comforter then had to leave back to the desk. I had to strip my king bed and toss these items on top. I fell back to sleep finally at 4 with my do not disturb sign on the door. At 8 a.m. maintenance knocked and tried to come in my room saying I called for maintenance. Then they proceeded to tear all the safes out of every room and a crew came up to remove them. I was told no one was supposed to be on this floor since they are renovating it. I could not go back to sleep so I went to use the bathroom and take a shower when housekeeping knocked and tried to come in. The night manager told me that he would put a note to have them change my bedding after I left and to take the do not disturb sign off of my door when I left. I talked to the day manager and complained. He said he would have the main manager talk to me. A day later she did. She said she would review the security cameras to confirm and get back to me by the next day. Three days later and checking at the desk multiple times per day, she never responded to me or left a message. I flew home with no resolution. Then housekeeping threw receipts out that I had on the desk.

This place was very clean, didn't stink, and has very friendly staff. I will say tho, even from the 10th floor we could hear everything going on in the streets. If you’re a heavy sleeper, no problem.

Great location for the Sugar Bowl! Delicious food at the restaurant when we arrived late the first night. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. Friendly staff. Fast check in! Would stay here again!! More of an upscale Holiday Inn for sure.

Overbooked and gave away my room without notifying me, had to find another hotel last minute. Mistakes happen, of course, but then the manager on duty looked at me with a smile and said, "Whoops, looks like we gave away your room!" before blankly staring at me, maybe hoping I'd say thank you and walking away?? She wouldn't check on availability at any other Holiday Inn, wouldn't apologize for the mistake, and wouldn't even assure me that I wouldn't be charged. Its not the hotel franchise, its the rude, garbage manager behind the desk
