I am a very loyal Crowne Plaza repeat guest. It’s my favorite place to stay in the Portland area! However, I was very disappointed to find out upon arrival that the pool/hot tub was under construction. Had I known, I would’ve booked something closer to the event I was attending. When I expressed my frustration that it wasn’t disclosed during the booking process, there was no effort to offer an upgrade, complimentary drink at the bar, etc.

It was crazy week with snow storms and power outage for this area. Despite being so crazy busy, the starts took extra steps to make sure everyone felt welcomed and safe. The room was great, spacious and clean and common area was kept sparkly clean at all time.

Hotel needs upgrade, things look old and worn. Refrigerator didn’t work. The staff was great, they were the best part and made the stay ok.

The pool was not open, that was the only disappointing thing about out stay.

Staff was responsive during a difficult time. One of the maintenance members (sorry, didn't get his name), was out in the cold shoveling snow off the parking area to allow guests to safely get to and from their cars.

The TV did not work in the room. Called the front desk they said you could try to reset with the remote that didn’t work called them back and the front desk said they would send someone up when they could. No one ever came up to fix the TV. Poorly run operation. Not impressed at all.

Wonderful, hardworking, and understanding staff. We live locally and had to stay for two nights due to a storm and no power in our house. It was the same for many others there. The staff was so accommodating and allowed for late check out, opened the restaurant early and had to keep staff onsite due to the storm. The staff busted their tails - same staff morning and night. Accommodations we comfortable and nice. Food was great. Bar was fun. All this despite frustrating lack of power at home.

During severe winter weather. No hot water. Boiler down.

The stay was nice. We loved the pool and hot tub.

Everything was great, the hotel has many amenities and is like a resort hotel. The main lobby with a restaurant an great bar with a comfortable atmosphere is a nice plus.

The only issue was the hot tub was not working NOT a big deal but was looking forward to it ;)

One of the better hotels in the area for short term stays; reasonably priced, clean, excellent service, and the dining at the hotel is surprisingly affordable given the quality. Definitely give it a look.

Room was not cleaned well. Front desk did not resolve other issues which occurred during our 5 day stay.

Expedia did not pass my reservation information to the hotel, causing a delay of over an hour at check in.

As soon as we checked into our room, we had the front desk bring up extra bedding for the pull out sofa, and while doing that, unpacking our toiletries in the bathroom, there was a massive wad of hair stuck to the shower wall, and the shower head had that pink nasty funk all over it and bathroom sink rim was gross. I showed the desk clwrk when he arrived, and he stepped into the shower and used his hand to remive the wad of hair and just said all the shiwer heads have that slimy pink residue and walked out. Our 2nd night was awful due to rowdy teens loitering next to our door near elevator, and half of them chasing each other and yelling at 9pm+. We asked them to lower their voices, and we saw desk clerk walk iver to them and ask them the same. Kids didn't change and got louder, so we called desk and clerk said he had been up at least 3 times to talk to them and said next time he'd contact their parents, but nothing he could do because of hotel policy is loudness after 10pm. We think this is ridiculous as we were trying to wind down from traveling and have a 2 yr old trying to sleep. We couldn't hardly even hear the tv before he fell asleep. Rude service seeing as they knew it was bad enough to come tell the teens to quiet down and stop running, more than 3 times! This hotel doesn't need our miney if they don't care enough. We'll spend $20 more for luxury hotel down the hwy. Shame as we usually stay here each year when we visit due to proximity to area of shopping.

I just wish each room had a microwave. Seriously - we were unable to reheat our left overs from an earlier meal.

Nice neighborhood. Convenient to restaurants, highways, and the city. Nice, clean room. I will stay here again.

Didn’t like that i had to pay $10.00 to park

The one thing that kept me from giving it across the board excellent was that piped music from the lobby could be heard throughout the night and disturbed my sleep a bit.
