It was lovely, we loved everything! We will come back.

The front desk help and breakfast help were all terrible. Not friendly at all. No smiles, not helpful. Room was nice , beds were very comfortable.

Everything is new in the room except refrigerator and Location is great!!!

Pre-checked in at 10:00 and were given a key for underground parking. That was really appreciated. However when we returned at 3:30 room was still not ready, yet they started checking in people who had just arrived a few minutes later. The room we were finally assigned was on the main floor with no view or privacy. While convenient, having booked AND checked in well ahead we would have expected better. Some of the amenities were nice, some not. The soap dispensers were very watery, the floor and door in the bathroom were pretty worn out, the tile floor at the entrance was nice, but COLD! Microwave was provided on request. Our information said that there would be tea and coffee available in the lounge/restaurant area all day. We never saw any tea. I'm not sure either where the "two restaurants" were; maybe the morning service in this hotel and the tea room at the adjacent Pendray Inn? Beds were very comfortable, heat was very quiet, blackout drapes very effective. Breakfast was very good. Though very little changed from day to day, there was a wide selection and everything was fresh and well-prepared. We made much more use of it than we'd planned and enjoyed it every day. The locked underground parking was great. We were also given access to the surface lot after checkout which was terrific as our flight out was quite late. Service, after check-in, was generally very quick and courteous.

Clean, friendly staff. Excellent cooked buffet breakfast. Great location and overall a good deal.

Great Location and a beautiful place

Reasonable value for a hotel on the harbour in Victoria. Because it is an older hotel sound carried between floors (we were on the 1st floor and it was very noisy above us) and sound from doors closing in the hall was loud. Breakfast was fantastic and service was friendly and efficient. Can’t beat the location

To start with I was not given the room that I had booked through Expedia. I was told Huntington Manor but the photos were in a historic home. I was so looking forward to my one evening in Victoria surrounded by cozy heritage. But what I was given was a tacky, poorly maintained modern room furnished with miscellaneous furniture and paper thin walls so I could hear the neighbors clearly. And the shower running upstairs sounded like it was right next to me. Terribly noisy! I cannot explain my disappointment. I waited 2 hours to speak with the manager to no avail. I found out I paid full price for the room, not the discounted price that hotels.com had told me. I paid in advance as requested and no refund The hallways felt like prison cells. Having said all this, the breakfast and service in the dining room was great.
