Good, comfortable hotel. The room was big and the bed was clean and comfy. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The breakfast and evening meal were both good. I would be happy to stay there again.

Hotel and staff were lovely but the rooms could do with a redecoration. Also, there are some steps, to navigate, depending on where the room is. Staff will help but, if arriving for the first time, by the time you've walked your suitcase along all the corridors and then come across the stairs, you won't want to walk all the way back to reception. Also, annex wasn't clearly signposted in main corridor, so we followed the room numbers, came to the end, and our room number wasn't there. We then had to walk back, with suitcase, to find where we were going. If your room is in the annex, staff should take you there automatically. Food was lovely and they catered for all dietary requirements. Pool and Spa were nice but, again, could do with a redecoration. A good budget hotel.

Overall a nice stay, we enjoyed the breakfast and the warm swimming pool. We'd have liked bathrobes & slippers to go to the pool. Also, on the first day, we heard that the cleaning process wasn't done the night before so they were doing it in the morning, meaning we could not access the jacuzzi. (pipe hose was in) On the second day, the jacuzzi was on and I nearly burnt my foot going in. Another man tried after us and jumped straight out too. I was with my 8yo and it could have been very dangerous for him. When we got out, a blue mattress was put on top of it. At the restaurant, we were never asked if we wanted any dessert (I was desperate to try the pear crumble but wasn't invited to). I wouldn't recommend the green veg or coleslaw but I loved the soup & sourdough bread. Breakfast was nice, with the staff constantly adding stuff in. Maybe lacked pancakes if I want to be fussy? The room was fine despite a noisy fridge and we couldn't dry our swimsuits as the heating was off and the towel rack is only a holder. We appreciated Also, we "won" the breakfast on the lucky wheel but as it was already paid for, we got points instead. Not very customer friendly. Finally, a massive THANK YOU to the lovely girl doing our room on our way out, as she ran to us with my mum's handbag. She was so quick to react and she seemed a real asset to the hotel. About Chatham... go to Rochester instead. It's much nicer. Asda nearby, very convenient!

Very modern entrance/check in. Restaurant was very clean, food was excellent. Spa facilities are great. Very nice atmosphere, all staff went above and beyond with any questions. Will definitely be staying again. Only downside was that there isnt WIFI in the rooms, just in the main entrance/Restaurant.

We booked the rooms as we were travelling down from Yorkshire to a family funeral.I called the venue to see if there was any chance of a earlier check in as the funeral started at 1pm. Was told they would do what they could with no promises. We arrived at 11.45 and the receptionist tried everything to sort. Our rooms were made available to us which was very appreciated 5* for customer service. Thanks

Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so good. They were all so helpful and friendly, a credit to Holiday Inn. The room was comfortable and clean, but starting to look a little tired. Overall I’d definitely stay again.

Very well kept Hotel. Reception staff were very welcoming and polite. Room was good size, nice bathroom. Very clean. Breakfast Bar offered a wide range of hot and cold foods. English full breakfast was really good. Very nice pool, steam room, sauna and a small gym.

Our stay was very good other than our mattress was too soft. My wife and I found this uncomfortable. Had we been staying for more than 1 night we would had asked for a firmer mattress.
