The Hyatt Regency was a beautiful hotel to stay at and conveniently located near the Pokemon event.

Our room was nice, the only issue was the high traffic on the elevators, though I don’t know how this could be resolved.

We arrived to be told that they would not park our truck (non-commercial) despite our pre-purchase of valet parking and no notes on the hotel site about restrictions. We were told it was our responsibility to obtain a refund - after significant push back the man who claimed to be the front desk manager reluctantly agreed to contact Hotels.com. Nothing was offered and the fact that we had to park in a garage down the road, pay $85.00 to park on top of the prepaid valet rate, then drag our luggage through town calling to get a refund for a service they were not providing was an inconvenience for them.
The room was an odd corner with much of the space not functional or comfortable. A sign pointing to additional elevators were available led tro a door that stated staff only.
The ice machine on our floor was not working so we called the desk to let them know and find out where we could get ice. We were placed on “hold” (the phone was set on the counter) without an apology so they could contact maintenance. When they came back we were told there are functioning machines on floors 19 and 8. Amazingly 19 also had a vending machine which was not offered on floor 18. Obviously no one offered to bring us ice.
The worst part of the stay was the indifference of the staff. You get what you get and if you encounter problems who really cares?

It was good. The only thing was having to pay $42 for parking for one night after paying for the hotel room.

We were there for a concert. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. The drinks were wonderful. I didn't know what I wanted, but the bartender made a great suggestion. Nice selection of restaurants and gift shops.

I booked this hotel for a quick getaway birthday trip with my partner. I called a few days before to let them know that we were celebrating a birthday and they were so kind! After we checked in, they had a delicious piece of chocolate cake brought up to the room with a birthday card. They also allowed me to upgrade to a suite after I realized I had made a mistake with my booking. The hotel itself was clean and enjoyable with a large bar area and other nice amenities like a pool and restaurants. Thank you to the staff!

The staff was great! Two restaurants on the property, both had amazing food. Starbucks in the lobby was a plus. Only think i didn't like was the comforter, it was like a duvet in 2 sheets and didn't stay in place while sleeping.

Room gets very cold during the winter time because their air conditioning system is malfunctioning, and it’s not only about my room because my two colleagues had exactly the same opinion about their room temperature. And if I tell that to their front desk, then they’ll come and fix it right away but it gets cold again on the next day. I wonder if they’re setting a “timer” or something.

Took 40 minutes to wait on elevator. Had to walk 7 flights of stairs to room checked out same day. Would not or never would stay at the Hyatt Regency again.Pictures show jacuzzi no longer there filled with dirt and plants. Would like a full refund. Highly unlikely though.

The hotel itself is really nice, clean and the staff was great. We enjoyed the Level One bar. The bartenders were so fun! Our kids loved the pool although it is very small. The standard room was small and beds weren’t very comfortable. I liked that you could walk to areas downtown using the skywalk bridges. The price of parking was expensive. If you are traveling with children, go to the children’s museum.

Such a disappointing experience for what I expected to be a nice hotel. Also very disappointing that they wouldn't honor my reservation since I booked 3rd party. I booked two doubles but they said they only had king rooms even though my reservation was booked months in advance. Rooms are old, awkward layout, and dirty. Staff wasn't friendly and unable to answer questions like what time room service was available or provide menu. Very overpriced for quality and service given.

Had a small problem with the HVAC in the room,very promptly taken care of the 2 Maintenace people were top notch no problem there.The elevator service was terrible I know it was a busy day but the wait time was herendous.The resturant/bar in the lobby was a joke terrible service had to remind them what we ordered and in fact that we ordered food then we didn't get all the items listed in the particular item we ordered that in fact were supposed to come with that item as I looked on the menu after we ate,they ran out of Tito's vodka when they are PROUDLY displaying they offer Titos how can that happen,my wife ordered 2 Lemon drop Martini's at once since the service was so bad and one was a Margerita and who know what the other one was but they weren't lemon drops.the limited vending machines were all sold out on every floor,like I said earlier I know it was New Years Eve but this wasn't the first NYE ever they should of had the proper stock to keep these refilled,so getting refreshments was like finding hens teeth since the service at the bar was terrible.All in all very bad experince and don't see us staying there again anytime soon if ever.

liked everything except for getting profiled by a US Marshall. im sitting in the chairs by the elevator and im asked what my business is here and i need to leave now. i then present my room key and he goes on and asked for my room number and name. the man held me and my guest for 10 mins to verify and i already showed him my key card and receipt. after he verified he continued on his day like he never confronted me. with that said i will never come back here, and they will be receiving a call from my legal team.

Didn't like the elevator waits but I guess that can't be helped but other than that my family enjoyed a fun weekend in Indy and a Colts win. This is an annual event for the family around Christmas.

Perfect location! We were able to attend a cheer competition in the Indiana Convention Center, which is attached by a skywalk and later on, go to the Steelers/Colts game, which was less than a half of a mile away. The restaurants we went to, which were less than a five minute walk from the hotel, were all great too! We would definitely stay here again!

The pool was too cold for my kids to swim (who usually don't care!), the beds were extremely uncomfortable (I don't think anyone got sleep), you can hear all of the street traffic through the window and hall traffic through the door. The valet guy made me give him my ID before we took our luggage up to the room so I would return it. I still feel very uneasy about that.

I was in town for the Big Ten Championship game . I was very disappointed that parking was not part of the room charge. My room for 1 night was over $500.... absoolutely ridiculous price gouging. Then you want me to pay for parking. I will never stay @ a Hyatt owned hotel again.

The trip was good, easy parking and check-in. The room was also relatively clean. Just needed a few updates and maintenance. The water was cold for showers. Once maintenance was made aware, they worked on it right away and made sure to support us until it was fixed.

While we did find our room a nice size and squeaky clean, we were pretty disappointed that the pool was being cleaned the ENTIRE morning we were there and about to check out (we picked this hotel specifically so that our son could swim) and our only chance was the morning as we got in later the night prior. I'm surprised that was the time they chose to clean. Also, the self park area below the hotel had zero signage on how to get up to the main level lobby to check in and it took us quite a while to figure out where to go. The staff were not terribly friendly and the overall experience would not make us want to come back to this property.

Staff was not attentive. Gave us a room on the 19th floor furthest from the elevator. They had not coded the key cards properly so the door wouldn’t unlock. When we checked out the next day they said the deposit was refunded. When we looked at our charge card they had billed us twice for the room including the deposit. When we called the front desk took no responsibility, transferred us to accounting where we had to leave a message. Two days later they have not returned our call.

The reviews made this location seem more than ideal but the property and rooms could use some renovating. I was really surprised how dated and dark the inside of the hotel appeared.
While overall clean, rooms had peeling paint, and water damage in some areas. Several times the staff told me that they would notify me when the room was ready or the mobility scooter rented was delivered and never received any communication that it was.
The valet service was slow. At $57 a day it shouldn’t be.
If I ever go back to Indy, I honestly wouldn’t stay here again after walking through some of the other hotels.

Situated in the heart of the city this is a great place to stay!
Others mentioned parking: it’s a strange situation and traffic flow is not marked. Large vehicles would not be a good idea!
